A Case Study of University Convergence Classes on Learners' Creative Ideas : Focusing on the development journal of the indie game of 'Woody' (대학의 융복합 수업이 학습자의 창의적 발상에 미친 사례 연구 : '우디'의 인디게임 개발 일지를 중심으로)

  • In recent universities, the new-normal era. There is a growing interest in nurturing creative thinking learners who have converged thinking necessary for the AI era based on big data. This study intends to propose the expansion of science liberal arts education necessary to meet the education needs of these universities. To this end, first the status of convergence education in universities and the elements necessary for the learners' creative ideas were examined. Second, learners who took a convergence lecture at a university will look at the development case of in which convergence thinking, creative thinking, and gaming are implemented. Based on this, we would like to propose an expanded organization and operation of science liberal arts education as a way to enhance the creative thinking of learners and their competencies through convergence classes at universities.

  • The purpose of this study is to comprehensively examine the facilitators and barriers to social participation of older adults in the society through systematic review of qualitative research. Through PubMed, Embase, Cochrane, data from 2012 to 2022 were collected. The main search keywords were 'elderly', 'older adults', social participation', 'engagement', 'motiv*', 'barrier', 'facilitat*'. 7 articles that satisfy the inclusion criteria were selected for analysis. Facilitators and barriers of older adults' social participation were analyzed. The analyzed factors were assorted into 'personal/ internal factors', 'environmental factors', 'social network factors'. The results of this study emphasize not only logistical factors, but also motivation, desire, social context of older adults' as factors to social participation. To prevent older adults' social isolation, a broad understanding of what promotes and inhibits the participation of the older adults is needed.

  • Social changes characterized by new normal also demand changes in libraries and libraries are making preemptive efforts. This study compared and analyzed the difference in librarian perceptions between the start of COVID-19 in 2020 and after experiencing the pandemic in 2022 in terms of the relative importance of library policies considered by pairwise comparative analysis. In the 1st survey, the importance of factors related to 'Library Management' and 'Library Services' was high and in the 2nd survey, the importance of factors related to 'Human Resources' and 'Information Resources' increased. This study insists that the public libraries invest in human resources and information resources and establish a user-customized policy in order to quickly adapt to the new paradigm and to provide sustainable library services.

  • This study requires SW education that can adapt to the advent of the fourth industrial revolution and the new normal environment of COVID-19 pandemic. Small and powerful smartphones, which have become a necessity in digital society, are designed and applied to create apps with useful apps or artificial intelligence modules that have been trained with data using the App Inventor program as a good teaching tool. After conducting the class in a blended method that combines face-to-face and non-face methods, the survey questioned the technical and cognitive maturity of artificial intelligence and the pros and cons of blended software classes. We also found changes in career orientation, which is intended to explore SW-related talent occupations that require a lot of demand in terms of national development before and after artificial intelligence classes. Significant results were reached in three of the sub-elements. Even in non-face-to-face situations, it is expected that an app vendor software education program using artificial intelligence will be provided to the actual site.

The Strategy of Korea's Environmental Official Development Assistance Project (한국 공적개발원조 사업의 방향과 전략 : 환경 분야를 중심으로)

  • 2010년부터 2019년까지 지난 10년간 한국의 ODA 현황을 규모와 유형 측면에서 살펴보면, 양자 간 원조 중 유·무상원조 비중은 큰 변동 없이 OECD DAC 회원국의 평균을 밑돌고, 다자 간원조는 21~31% 수준을 유지하고 있다. 프로젝트 원조가 꾸준히 가장 큰 비중을 차지하며 사회 인프라 및 서비스 분야에서 가장 많은 사업이 추진되고 있다. 특히, 수자원과 위생 부문은 사회 인프라 및 서비스 분야에서 보건(33%)과 교육(25%)에 이어 가장 높은 비중(19%)을 차지하고 있다(10년 누계, 약정 기준). 2020년 7월, 현 정부는 '개발 협력을 통한 코로나19 회복력 강화 프로그램(Agenda for Building resilience against COVID-19 through development cooperation, 일명 ABC 프로그램)'을 발표하고, 개도국의 경제·사회 회복력 강화를 위하여 기존 ODA 사업에 ICT와 친환경 사업 요소를 접목한 디지털 및 그린뉴딜 ODA 사업을 적극 발굴, 추진하겠다고 밝혔다. 지난 10년간, 한국과 가장 많은 다자 간 원조를 추진한 지역개발은행(36%)과 세계은행그룹(35%)에서도 코로나19와 같은 위기극복하기 위한 뉴노멀로서 환경 사업의 비중을 높이고 있다. 예컨대, 아시아개발은행은 코로나19에 대응하기 위한 도시 차원의 단·중기 행동 계획으로 도시 상하수도 시설의 지속적인 원활한 운영과 필수적인 물, 위생, 보건(WaSH) 서비스 제공을 최우선적인 조치로 발표하였다. 이러한 배경에서 본 연구는 한국의 ODA 정책 방향을 검토하고 국제사회의 추진 동향을 분석하여 향후 한국이 특화하고 경쟁력을 가질 수 있는 환경 분야의 ODA 전략을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구 결과는 ODA를 통해 해외 진출을 도모하는 민간기업과 국력 향상의 수단으로써 ODA를 적극적으로 활용하겠다는 기조를 지닌 새 정부의 ODA 전략 수립에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

Mediating Role of Social Network Support in the Relationship Between Depression and Online Social Networking (우울과 온라인 사회관계망의 관계에서 오프라인 사회관계망의 매개 역할)

  • Objective : This study investigated the effects of depression on online and offline social interactions among middle-aged and older adults with the aim of enhancing their social connectivity and mental well-being. Methods : Utilizing the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 and the Lubben Social Network Scale-6, this study assessed depression and social relationships in 429 middle-aged adults. We explored the mediation effects of offline relationships on online interactions using path analysis and the Sobel test. Results : Significant links were found between depression and social relationships in a cohort of educated males averaging 63 years of age. Offline interactions mediated 32% of the influence of depression on online relationships, with strong model fit indices emphasizing the importance of offline social interactions. Conclusion : This study highlights the role of active engagement in online and offline networks in improving mental health and managing the impact of depression on social activity among older adults, helping prevent isolation.

A Study on Edutech Types and Utilization of School Libraries in a Non-face-to-face Educational Environment (비대면 교육 환경에서 학교도서관의 에듀테크 유형과 활용에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to retrospectively review how school libraries utilized digital educational tools in a non-face-to-face environment during the pandemic, and to suggest types of digital educational tools suitable for use in the New Normal. Initially, a list of edutech used in schools during the pandemic was compiled by reviewing previous studies. By grasping the frequency of use of edutech expert teachers and librarian teachers, the list of edutech was readjusted to the type of edutech that can be used in school libraries. The use of edutech by school libraries during the pandemic, as reported in the 'School Library Journal,' was analyzed and integrated the previous list of edutech. As a result, edutech suitable for school libraries was categorized into five main areas: management, communication, productivity, consumption, and evaluation. Additionally, specific edutch examples for each category were presented, based on insights from the 'School Library Journal.'

  • The World Health Organisation(WHO), paying attention to the spread and fatality of the coronavirus(COVID-19), which first occurred in Wuhan, China, declared a global emergency. Although many countries implement strict measures to slow down the spread, WHO officially declared a pandemic. COVID-19 has sparked fears of an impending economic crisis and recession. Due to the economic crisis caused by social distancing, self-isolation and travel restrictions, the collapse of the world economic system centered on free trade and the decline of globalization are mentioned. Political leadership that has not responded properly to the pandemic is challenged, and nearly all of society is rapidly changing to a non-contact and immobile culture. COVID-19 has seriously affected all levels of the education system, from preschool to tertiary education. The so-called old concept of deschooling is realizing in the field of education through digital media paradoxically. Church education is facing a serious crisis as well. Churches are seeking now a new normal that includes theological reflection on the pandemic, online worship, education, and non-face-to-face ministry to overcome the worst unexpected crisis. In the post-corona era, church education must actively seek alternatives in response to rapidly changing surrounding conditions and reconstruct educational philosophy(theology) that focuses on Christian values. In addition, it is necessary to start operating a mobile(or online) church school that combines offline and online. It is necessary to introduce 'Blended Learning' method that combines non-face-to-face and face-to-face learning, and by combining church school and homeschooling, churches and families need to share the responsibility of education in faith.

  • In this study, the objective of the study was to verify how college students' entourage and transformational leadership can affect employment and entrepreneurship perception. In addition, with the coronavirus infection, which has a widespread global impact over the past few months, we want to see how the social issue of pandemic affects the personal characteristics of college students and their perceptions of employment and entrepreneurship. Research Results University students with high entrepreneurship and transformational leadership perceived the social issue of the Corona 19 pandemic as a crisis, which is comparable to the economic crisis, and rather than cringe, adapting to the shift of a new paradigm, new job opportunities or opportunities for entrepreneurship It was found to be an opportunity to recognize as. Impact of Enterprise R&D Investment on International Trade in Korea under the new Normal Era (뉴 노멀 시대하 한국기업의 R&D투자가 무역에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the impact of enterprise R&D investment on international trade in Korea under the new Normal Era. In order to test whether the time series data of trade variables are stationary or not, we put in operation unit root test and cointegration test. Based on VECM (Vector Error Correction Model), we also apply impulse response functions and variance decomposition to estimate the dynamic effects in the short-run and long-run. The results show that the relationship between enterprise R&D investment and international trade (export and import) exists in the long-run as well as in the short-run. The results of applying impulse response functions and variance decomposition also indicate that the impact of enterprise R&D investment on international trade is positive, and a significant portion of fluctuations in the trade variable is explained by enterprise R&D investment. Therefore, enterprise R&D investment must be continuously increased to improve economic growth with promoting trading competition power in Korea under the new Normal Era.
