In the long-term care insurance(LTCI) system, the question of how to provide the most appropriate care has become a major issue for the elderly, their family, and for policy makers. To help beneficiaries use LTC services appropriately to their needs of care, National Health Insurance Corporation(NHIC) provide them with the individualized care plan, named the Long-term Care User Guide. It includes recommendations for beneficiaries' most appropriate type of care. The purpose of this study is to develop a recommending system for care plan(Res-CP) in LTCI system. We used data set for Long-term Care User Guide in the 3rd long-term care insurance pilot programs. To develop the model, we tested four models, including a decision-tree model in data-mining, a logistic regression model, and a boosting and boosting techniques in an ensemble model. A decision-tree model was selected to describe the Res-CP, because it may be easy to explain the algorithm of Res-CP to the working groups. Res-CP might be useful in an evidence-based care planning in LTCI system and may contribute to support use of LTC services efficiently.

This study examines the effect of working conditions for care workers on the care quality in long-term care facilities, particularly the coexisting perspective on publicness and the marketization of Long-term care services in South Korea brings about. Prior studies have not identified a causal relationship between working conditions and the care quality, only explained cause of a low-wage labor market and low productivity of social services. Theoretical relevance of working conditions and service quality on Long-term care in Korea is to view from a integrated care model by Daly and Lewis(2002). A nonproportional stratified sampling procedure was used to consider Long-term care facility's ownership. A merged dataset combining surveys from 248 Long-Term Care facilities and online resources from NHIC administrative was used and analyzed by multiple regression. The analysis results is showed as follows. Overall, organizations with better working conditions, having higher wage, having greater a fringe benefit, being skills development and training are likely to have good care quality in each area. This research shows that the working conditions, rewards and support to care workers of organizational culture in the normative dimension beyond the minimum standard on labor market policy and evaluation system by government regulations have a positive impact on Long-term care quality.

This study of the elderly in the future expansion of long-term care insurance as a priority landing at the introduction of physical therapy services aim to provide baseline data and long-term care insurance for him, the elderly that provides physical therapy services under the elderly property of a physical therapist recognition system for the investigation was conducted. As a result, the perception of the elderly long-term care insurance was higher by 88.1% of the higher needs, but also the absolute need for more than 40 years of age the response was higher with 60.3 percent. In addition, the number of visits that care should be priced higher relative to the 59.7 percent was the highest opinion. Visit of physical therapy services include the most important therapeutic approach to life and 40% was the highest forum, visit the Nursing Center as a service principal points that you need to visit the rehab center, accounting for 69.4 percent opinion. The expected effect of physical therapy visits conducted in a 50-point scale showed an overall average 41.44 points and 42.48 points, especially over the age of 40 appear in the overall expected effect was higher.

The aged long-term care insurance for solving problems of the aged increasing rapidly in an aging society is a primary subject which have influence on. So, it is important to develop a curriculum for training care professionals who play an important role in operating of the aged long-term care insurance and especially care managers, because care managers are central professionals who intervene in a whole process of the aged long-term care insurance and provide the recipient with proper services. In this paper, we propose a curriculum for care managers. It includes a process classifying care manager students into a beginner and an experienced man, subdividing it into 3 parts-lecture, practice, field practice, assign time to subjects, train students by it, carry out a written examination, and certify in care manager training.
