Slaves have been investigated around diaries or slave ownership papers of nobilities up to now. While slaves were described in tales or stories on loyal slaves or historic tales, slaves were not sufficiently examined. This paper analyzed the actual awareness on slaves through the description on slaves in Chinese poem. It was generally very difficult to deal with young slaves because young slaves were included in the lowest class without education and not an adult. The fugitive slaves were loss of labor and brought the emotional betrayal. There were spells to make fugitive slaves return. The sense of loss was nearly same in the death of slaves as in the death of family members. The longer the slaves lived with owners, the greater the sense of loss was. However, the difference of awareness on slaves per period was not identified in this paper. It can be identified only by fully examining more data on slaves. It will be the theme of further study.

The government adopts mainly three venture-supporting systems such as Venture Certification, InnoBiz Certification, and MainBiz Certification. This study compares the policy effects of productive aspects and technical inefficiency aspects of Venture Certification and InnoBiz Certification using the data on 'The 2010 Actual Conditions of Venture Enterprise.' With the estimation of production functions, it is found that only 'financing and ease of investment' produces a statistically significant effects on productivity. On the other hands, the other effects of 'the venture certification' do not produce positive effects. However, it is revealed that 'the venture certification policy' primarily reduces technical inefficiencies. The InnoBiz certification policy shows primarily insignificant effects in both sides of the production aspects and technical inefficiency aspects. However, the 'marketing ability effect' produces a positive effect on production and reduces the technical inefficiencies as well.

Using water vapor adsorption data foe some typical Korean soils. we calculated the adsorption energy distribution functions and average adsorption energies for these soils using theory of adsorption on hetergeneous surfaces. As a local adsorption models the BET and a new Aranovich equations were applied. The distribution functions were broad, indicating rather high energetic inhomogeneity of the surface.

One of challengeable problems of multi-agent systems is a positioning control. Augmented Cucker-Smale model is using for controlling position and velocity of the multi-agent system. The original model applies same coefficients to all agents in same group, so that does not consider characteristic of each agent. To enhance performance of the original model, this paper transforms original coefficients to Mahalanobis distance coefficients that reflects an initial distribution of multi-agent systems and applies statistical degrees of freedom. This paper not only confirms tendency of enhanced performance of the suggested model by using monte-carlo simulation, but also additionally compares trajectory of the original model with the suggested model to confirm coefficients of Mahalanobis distance performing correctly.

It is investigated that Mahalanobis distances are invariant under a proper transformation and interest MDs are distributed as non-central chi-square while it is well known that intraset MDs are distributed as central chi-square. And their moments have been expressed as simple polynomials whose coefficients satisfy straightforward recursive relations.

Wrinkle, spring-back, and fracture are major defects frequently found in the sheet metal forming process, and the reduction of such defects is difficult as they are affected by uncontrollable factors, such as variations in properties of the incoming material and process parameters. Without any countermeasures against these issues, attempts to reduce defects through optimal design methods often lead to failure. In this research, a new multi-attribute robust design methodology, based on the Mahalanobis Taguchi System (MTS), is presented for reducing the possibilities of wrinkle, spring-back, and fracture. MTS performs experimentation, based on the orthogonal array under various noise conditions, uses the SN ratio of the Mahalanobis distance as a performance metric. The proposed method is illustrated through a robust design of the sheet metal forming process of a cross member of automotive body.

현대를 특징짓는 말 가운데 "자격증"의 시대라고 말하는 경우가 종종 있다. 이는 개인의 능력을 객관적으로 측정하고 전문성을 강조하게 되었음을 의미한다. 그리고 이런 경향은 더욱 확산되어 개인들의 자격증 취득 열풍을 넘어 기업들도 여러 자격증(인증)을 받는 것이 보편화되는 시대가 되었다. 회사들이 취득하고자 하는 인증에는 수십여 개에 달하고 있으나 근래 들어 두각을 드러내는 것으로 이노비즈(기술혁신형 중소기업 인증)와 메인비즈(경영혁신형 중소기업 인증)를 들 수 있으며 인쇄업계도 인증을 받거나 신청하는 기업들이 줄을 잇고 잇다. 이처럼 기업들과 관련된 각종 인증이 크게 늘어남에 따라 취득하고자 하는 인증의 정확한 내용과 의미, 취득 이후에 따르는 지원책 등을 알아보고 자사에 적합한 인증이 무엇인지 등을 검토, 확인하고 신청하는 것이 필요하게 되었다. 근래 들어 중소기업들의 이목을 끌고 있는 이노비즈와 메인비즈를 소개한다.
