Fluidic Characteristics of Precessing Jet Nozzle Combustor (세차제트노즐 연소기의 유동특성)

  • Many processing companies are facing environmental regulations such as decreasing NOx emissions when they by to increase thermal efficiencies of combustor. We study a potential new method that may achieve both increase of thermal efficiency and decrease of NOx emissions. This new concept of burner, the precessing jet burner, is known to significantly reduce pollutants such as NOx emissions and simultaneously increase radial heat transfer. This precessing jet nozzle may increase the combustion efficiency of gas turbine engine. A basic research on characteristics of precessing jet nozzle has been conducted using FLUENT and laser visualization technique. Velocities at He nozzle cross-section are compared with the published experimental results. Precessing jet nozzle with centerbody results in better precessing phenomena.

  • As DNA sequences have been known through the Genome project the techniques for dealing with molecule-level gene information are being made researches briskly. It is also urgent to develop new computer algorithms for making databases and analyzing it efficiently considering the vastness of the information for known sequences. In this respect, this paper studies the association rule search algorithms for finding out the characteristics shown by means of the association between promoter sequences and genes, which is one of the important research areas in molecular biology. This paper treat biological data, while previous search algorithms used transaction data. So, we design a transformed association nile algorithm that covers data types and biological properties. These research results will contribute to reducing the time and the cost for biological experiments by minimizing their candidates.

  • With the development of IoT technology, the scope of object controls and sensor information has expanded and services have been diversified. Energy saving efforts in buildings with high energy consumption is increasing, and services are being extended over life safety, security and convenience. However, Existing smart building services are dependent on IoT devices and are difficult to change or expand. In this paper, we have implement of workflow based smart building services to modify or extend services according to user's needs.

  • The florescence steps of Lycium chinense M. are as follows: Budding-Yellow, leaf-Falling-Flowering. Pruning treatment has a long stem diameter compared withnon-pruning treatment and as a result, the numbers of internode were great and thetotal effective numbers of branch were great, too. In the non-pruning treatment asthe fruit length was short so the fruit was small, and on the contrary in the pruningtreatment as the fruit length was long so large and good fruits were produced.Fresh fruit weight produced per 10a was increased as much as 38-39% in thesurface pruning treatment and in the pruning treatment l0Cm away from surfacecompared with in the non-pruning treatmerlt.

  • 본 논문에서는 3D 프린터의 다양한 활용분야를 소개한다. 3D 프린터의 원래의 목적은 상품을 내놓기 전 시제품을 만들기 위해서였으나 최근 들어 그 활용분야가 공업, 의료, 실생활 분야로 넓혀지고 있다. 공업 분야에서는 한 장씩 레이어를 쌓아가는 3D 프린터의 장점을 이용해 보다 정밀하고 세밀한 공정이 가능해 진다. 이러한 특성은 기존의 방식보다 진행시간을 5~10배 이상 단축시켜 제품개발에 소요되는 비용과 노력을 절감하는 뛰어난 효율성을 보여준다. 의료분야에서는 3D모형물을 그대로 제작할 수 있기 때문에 인간의 신체와 보다 흡사한 보형물을 만들 수 있다. 나아가 3D프린터가 상용화 된다면 판매사가 제공하는 3D 콘텐츠를 사용자가 쉽게 이해하고 이에 따른 피드백을 받아 빠르게 제품생산에 이용할 수 있어 상품에 대한 만족도를 높일 수 있게 된다.

  • There has been several meaning full efforts to save costs and expand the life-time of a system in changeful If circumstance. It was a module-based architecture that empower productivity at structured programming. It couldn't grow nor evolve, but could raise only calling frequency of module. But OOP or OO-method overcome limit of structured programing by class inheritance and/or overloading and/or over-riding. A component centric architecture, what is mixture of distributed systems, like CORBA. COM+ or EJB/J2EE with OOP. can support not only high reusability or expansion of life-time but also Plug-&-Play between component. In now day. It is not problem of component building but problem of interoperability between heterogeneous CBD Platform. At this study, the enhanced referential component architecture will be suggested.

  • The purpose of this study is to review and analyze the overlapping functions and activities of the nationwide scientific and technical information network system This study is helpful for users to gather information and for librarians and nations to reduce wastage of budgets through discarding the duplicated expenses of performing activities of the network systems. The research targets are KISTI and KERIS, which are functioning as the information network systems in the fields of science and technology. The research methods are literary reviews for theory background and analysis of their activities from internet homepages. As a result of the research, it is found and confirmed that there are some overlapping and duplicating functions and activities in the network systems.

  • Recently increasing interest in high-rise building around the world for more than 100 floor, the trend is the increasing use of high-strength and high-flowable concrete so as of productivity improvements and cost savings to improve the performance of the early strength development. This study is to reach the optimal combination by reviewing the performance of high-rise building which is required. The results, lower the ratio of W/B was an increase in compressive strength and early strength in the use of admixture decreased in the combination of higher replacement ratio of admixture.

  • This study was carried out in 1979 to establish the proper mulching culture method for an aromatic tobacco, ST 375-4. Three different methods of mulching were employed: Improved mulching (I. M.), General mulching (G. M.) and Non-mulching (N. M.). The number of seedlings per hole was 5 for I. M., and one for G. M. and N. M. In comparison with N. M., I. M. had shortened final date of leaf harvest by 14 days, enabling curing leaves before the rainy season. It also reduced transplanting labour hours by 44.9%. Yield and price value increased with improved mulching culture. There was little difference in relative light intensity at leaves between N. M. and I. M.

  • 제조업의 경쟁력을 기업이 보유하고 있는 기술력이 좌우한다고 할 때 기술은 크게 제품기술과 생산기술로 나누어 볼 수 있다. 제품기술의 혁신(Product Innovation)은 모든 과학 및 공학부문의 기초, 응용기술을 집약하여 최종 사용자의 구매의욕을 유발시킬 수 있도록 제품의 기능과 형상을 결정하는 과정으로, 오늘날 하나의 흐름을 형성하고 있는 소형, 경량화, 다기능 통합화, 에너지 절감 형, 지능형제품개발 외에도 기업의 Identity에 부합하는 이미지 제품의 개발(예: 독일 제품은 튼튼하다, 쏘니제품은 스마트하다 등), 신기술이 접목된 신제품 개발에 의한 신규 수요 창출 등에 그 초점이 맞추어져 있다. 우리나라의 경우 제품의 수명주기 상에서 볼 때 성숙기 또는 쇠퇴기에 있는 제품들이 주력산업을 형성하고 있는데 이와 같은 산업에서는 부가가치가 적기 때문에 환율이나 유가변동과 같은 외부의 충격에도 경제 전체가 흔들리는 상황을 맞게 된다. 반면에 일본이나 독일은 부가가치가 가장 큰 성장기의 제품을 주력산업으로 하면서 도입기/발아기 제품을 다음 주력 상품으로 준비하는 구조를 갖추고 있기 때문에 웬만한 충격을 충분히 소화시키면서 안정적으로 성장할 수 있는 것이다. 따라서 우리나라의 주력 산업을 여하히 부가가치가 높은 성장기/도입기의 제품으로 이전하느냐 하는 것이 우리 경제가 안고 있는 근본적인 숙제이며 이를 풀기 위하여는 제품기술혁신을 위한 투자와 노력을 인내심 있게 장기적으로 경주해야 할 것이다.
