In a data centric sensor network, a sensor node to store data is determined by the measured data value of each sensor node. Therefore, if the same data occur frequently, the energy of the sensor node to store the data is exhausted quickly due to the concentration of loads. And if the sensor network is extended, the communication cost for storing data and processing queries is increased, since the length of the routing path for them is usually in the distance. However, the existing researches that generally focus on the efficient management of data storing can not solve these problems efficiently. In this paper, we propose a NUNS(Non-Uniform Network Split) method that can distribute loads of sensor nodes and decrease the communication cost caused by the sensor network extension. By dividing the sensor network into non-uniform partitions that have the minimum difference in the number of sensor nodes and the splitted area size and storing the data which is occurred in a partition at the sensor nodes within the partition, the NUNS can distribute loads of sensor nodes and decrease the communication cost efficiently. In addition, by dividing each partition into non-uniform zones that have the minimum difference in the splitted area size as many as the number of the sensor nodes in the partition and allocating each of them as the processing area of each sensor node, the NUNS can protect a specific sensor node from the load concentration and decrease the unnecessary routing cost.
Network Centric Warfare(NCW) is becoming a prominent concept in the current trend of warfare. To support high quality communication between strategic/tactical units in the concept of NCW, Tactical Airborne Networks are likely to be constructed in the near future to take part in the NCW. In these Tactical Airborne Networks with dynamic topology variations due to very high mobility of participants nodes, more efficient and reliable neighbor discovery protocols are needed. This paper presents the adaptive HELLO message scheduling algorithm for Tactical Airborne Network using directional antennas. The purposed algorithm can reduce the overhead of periodic HELLO message transfer, while guaranteeing successful data transmission. We concluded a mathematical analysis and simulation studies using Qualnet 4.5 for evaluation the performance and efficiency of the proposed scheme.
In general, organizations operating multi-domain networks find it difficult to represent and manage multiple domain net works on a single screen space. Instead, most of them are managed with multiple screens visualizing network topology by domain or partitioning one screen area into multiple domains. We propose an efficient method to visualize the topology using only minimal connection information between domain-agnostic nodes in this work. This method visualizes the topology by utilizing centrality indices representing the influence of nodes in the network. Furthermore, the method dynamically segments the entire node's display area using virtual Root nodes to auto-separate domains and weights of child nodes and placing nodes in 3D space. Thus, although it is a straightforward method, the multi-domain network topology can be visualized with only minimal connection information between nodes.
This article aims to explore and discuss research trends in global cruise industry using keyword network analysis. We visualize keyword networks in each of four groups of 1982-1999, 2000-2004, 2005-2009, 2010-2014 based on the top 20 keyword nodes' degree centrality and betweenness centrality which are selected among four centrality measurements, comparing them with frequency order. The article shows that keyword frequency collected from 240 articles published in international journals is subject to Zipf's law and nodes degree distribution also exhibits power law. We try to find out research trends in global cruise industry to change some important keywords diachronically, visualizing several networks focusing on the top two keywords, cruise and tourism, belonging to all the four year groups, with high degree and betweenness centrality values. Interestingly enough, a new node, China, connecting the top most keywords, appears in the most recent period of 2010-2014 when China has emerged as one of the rapid development countries in global cruise industry. Therefore keyword network analysis used in this article will be useful to understand research trends in global cruise industry because of increase and decrease of numbers of network types in different year groups and the visual connection between important nodes in giant components.

With the development of various devices and Internet platforms, production and demand for content are increasing rapidly. However, effective response to exponentially increasing data usage is difficult in current TCP/IP schemes. As a result, with the emergence of an alternative called CCN, data can be transmitted and received from the host-centered to the content-oriented, and large-capacity content can be handled with more mitigated network resources. In this paper, we will address intermediate node mobility, which is one of the areas studied in CCN. In CCN, real-time services are a very important factor for information providers as well as requestors. However, when a node departure situation occurs, packet transmission and transmission speed decreases. Therefore, to ensure these numbers, even if the intermediate node deviates using a dual path, it provides a complete QoS (Quality of Service) using an alternative path.

A sensor network which uses DCS(Data-Centric Storage) stores the same data into the same sensor node. Thus it has a hot spot problem when the sensor network grows and the same data arise frequently. In the past researches of the sensor network using DCS, the hot spot problem caused by growing the sensor network was ignored because they only concentrated on managing stored sensor data efficiently. In this paper, we proposed a non-equal region split method that supports efficient scalability on storing multi-dimensional sensor data. This method can reduce the storing cost, as the sensor network is growing, by dividing whole space into regions which have the same number of sensor nodes according to the distribution of sensor nodes, and storing and managing sensor data within each region. Moreover, this method can distribute the energy consumption of sensor nodes by increasing the number of regions according to the size of the sensor network, the number of sensor nodes within the sensor network, and the quantity of sensor data. Therefore it can help to increase the life time and the scalability of the sensor network.
In the IT industry, the complexity and volatility of corporate networks are gradually evolving, and concurrently, the significance of corporate networks is increasing. Previous research has employed network analysis to scrutinize inter-corporate trade relationships for strategic and policy making. However, previous studies focused on the overall network structure from a macroscopic perspective, presenting limitations in applicability at the individual IT corporation level. This study develops a novel research model incorporating sector and region-level network analysis based on connection strength, along with the derivation of a composite node centrality indicator. Using this methodology, we analyzed corporate networks across nine metropolitan areas using IT corporate transaction data. The results means that cities with a manufacturing base, such as Incheon, Busan, and Daegu, have recently established cooperative networks with IT companies. We also found that in the IT industry in Gwangju and Daejeon, certain companies dominate the transaction network.
