Usage analysis of library's twitter and homepage by using NodeXL program (노드 엑셀 네트워크 분석을 통한 국내 도서관 홈페이지와 트위터 활용도 연구)

  • 본 연구는 국내외 도서관의 소셜네트워크 서비스 현황을 살펴보고, 노드엑셀을 이용한 네트워크 분석 기법을 통해, 도서관 소셜미디어 활용도에 대해 조사하였다. 국내에서 소셜미디어 홍보를 제일 적극적으로 하고 있는 P대학의 트위터를 노드엑셀을 통해 매개중심성으로 분석해 본 결과 상위 파워트위터리안들을 알 수 있었으며, 추후 도서관 마켓팅에서 핵심이용자로 적극 관리할 필요성이 있음을 보여주고 있다. 홈페이지 이용도는 국내 의과대학 중 의학도서관 홈페이지상에 데이터베이스로 직접 URL 연동되어 있는 K대학 홈페이지를 보손(Voson)과 노드엑셀 네트워크 분석방법을 이용하여 분석해 본 결과, 상업출판사외에 NDSL이 가장 상위로 랭크되어 홈페이지의 활용도가 높음을 알 수 있었다.

A connection method of LPSolve and Excel for network optimization problem (네트워크 최적화 문제의 해결을 위한 LPSolve와 엑셀의 연동 방안)

  • We present a link that allows Excel to call the functions in the lp_solve system. lp_solve is free software licensed under the GPL that solves linear and mixed integer linear programs of moderate size. Our link manages the interface between Excel and lp_solve. Excel has a built-in add-in named Solver that is capable of solving mixed integer programs, but only with fewer than 200 variables. This link allows Excel users to handle substantially larger problems at no extra cost. Futhermore, we introduce that a network drawing method in Excel using arc adjacency lists of a network.

  • 본 연구는 정보학 분야의 저명한 연구자 T.D.Wilson의 연구주제 분야를 네트워크 분석을 이용하여 해석해보고, 그의 연구는 물론 정보학 분야의 연구주제에 관한 이해를 도모하는 데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 그의 저작을 대상으로 서지결합분석 방법을 이용한 군집 분석을 실시하여 연구주제를 나누어 보고 대표적인 연구주제와 논문, 그리고 인용빈도와의 관계를 규명하였다. 패스파인더 네트워크와 노드엑셀을 이용한 분석 결과, 대표적인 연구주제는 정보행위연구이고 논문으로는 "Human information behavior(2000)"로 나타났다. 더불어 '정보요구'라는 핵심 연구주제 아래 정보탐색, 정보관리, 정보이용, 웹정보에 이르는 정보학 분야의 다양한 연구가 이루어졌음을 알 수 있다.

  • In this paper, we analyze the research / technology trends of electric vehicles from 2001 to 2014, through keyword analysis using paper data published in SCIE or SSCI Journal on electric vehicles, time series analysis using patent data by IPC, and network analysis using nodeXL. also we predicted promising technologies of electric vehicles using one of the prediction methods, weighted moving average method. As a result of this study, battery technology among the electric vehicle component technologies appeared as a promising technology.

  • This paper examines the problems of big data analysis education and suggests ways to solve them. Big data is a trend that the characteristic of big data is evolving from V3 to V5. For this reason, big data analysis education must take V5 into account. Because increased uncertainty can increase the risk of data analysis, internal and external structured/semi-structured data as well as disturbance factors should be analyzed to improve the reliability of the data. And when using opinion mining, error that is easy to perceive is variability and veracity. The veracity of the data can be increased when data analysis is performed against uncertain situations created by various variables and options. It is the node analysis of the textom(텍스톰) and NodeXL that students and researchers mainly use in the analysis of the association network. Social network analysis should be able to get meaningful results and predict future by analyzing the current situation based on dark data gained.

  • This study aims to investigate research trends on disaster safety Information based on the language network analysis methods. To accomplish it, we collected 312 Korean thesis and scholarly articles on disaster safety information published between 2008 and 2017 from RISS (Research Information Sharing Service) site. With the collected data, this study performed the statistical analysis based on bibliographic data. Also, this study performed the analysis of frequency and language network on keyword extracted from titles on the collected scholarly articles and thesis. This study found out that researches recently on Bigdata related to disaster safety information have been rapidly increased. Also, the needs of sharing and utilizing disaster safety information have increased. Also the various types of disaster safety information such as spatial data, real-time information, geographic information has been used for the disaster response.

  • This study analyzes key word networks of the papers which are published at Korean Journal of Social Welfare issued by Korean Academy of Social Welfare from 1979 to 2015. It aims at investigating the trends of social welfare researches in Korea by dividing the given period into two: 1979-2000 and 2001-2015. It shows the trends in three ways: methodologies, subjects, and intellectual structures. In order to identify intellectual structure, it calculate centrality indices basing on co-appearance frequency of key words. It also derives some values which explain relationship structure of key words by using pathfinder algorithm, and finally visualizes the intellectual structures by using the NodeXL program. Some implications of the findings of these analyses are discussed in the end.

  • This study focused on the difference of the volume of sanitory pad issue and The aim of this study is to explore the relationship between the characteristics of SNS and the diffusion of issue in the process of crisis issue. SNS is categorized into communication diffusion, communication restriction,, diffusion, restriction base on the media interactivity and the user interactivity, In case of Twitter, media interactivity is low and user interactivity is low. In case of Youtube, media interactivity and user interactivity are all high. Crisiss issue is interactively diffused via Youtube compared to via Twitter. There was a negative public opinion in social media even if the government and the manufacturer said that there was no harm in the sanitary goods. In conclusion, this study highlights the importance of social media environment in the diffusion of information. The government prepared for the use of SNS in crisis because there was a negative opinion on the government and the manufacturer via SNS.

A Study on the Core Values of Presidents Based on the Content Analysis of the Presidential Speech Archives (대통령 연설기록 내용분석을 통한 역대 대통령의 중심가치 연구)

  • This study reveals the core values of presidents based on the content analysis of the Presidential Speech Archives and examines the policy direction of each government from a macro perspective. For this purpose, we collected the speech archives provided by the Presidential Archives and compared central words. The Presidential Speech Archives is helpful for understanding the problem-solving capacity and consciousness of presidents. Among them, we particularly selected statements in the diplomatic and trade fields as the main study targets. As a result, the presidents have basically pursued peaceful resolution and cooperation on diplomatic issues. In addition, they placed a high priority in the implementation of the economic policy in the diplomatic and trade fields.

Relationship between emotions and emoticons in adolescents in digital communication environment (디지털 커뮤니케이션 환경에서 청소년들의 감정과 이모티콘의 관계)

  • Purpose: Adolescents use emoticons to express their emotions in an online environment. Hence, medical experts can understand the emotions of adolescents by emoticons. The goal of this study was to investigate the relationship between various emotions and emoticons among the Korean adolescents. Methods: The questionnaire survey was conducted between September 1 and 30, 2014, involving 3,272 students in elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools affiliated in the Department of Education of the metropolitan city of Busan. A total of 1,717 students responded to the survey. The participants consisted of 806 males (46.9%), and 911 females (53.1%). Among these, there were 557 elementary school students (32.4%), 617 middle school students (35.9%), and 543 high school students (31.6%). A social networking analysis was conducted using NodeXL. Results: The frequency of emoticon use among adolescents runs in the order of joy, sadness, fear, surprise, anger, disgust, and then depression. Elementary school females mainly use emoticons to express joy; middle school females use emoticons to express sadness, surprise, anger, disgust, and depression; and high school females use emoticons to express fear. Age- and gender-specific emoticon networks were visualized by using the Haren-Korel fast multiscale algorithm. Commonly used emoticons by age and gender were expressed in the networks. Results of age- and gender-specific emoticon networks visualization show similar results of centrality of seven emoticons. Conclusion: In the digital communication environment, emoticons could be used to catch the emotions of adolescents in Korea.
