  • After analyzing and finding the explaining factors about the "Effect of My Mom's Friend's Son (MMFS Effect)" with online-surveyed data, we introduce this concept into the conventional job search theory to develop it further. We try to estimate its effects on the hazard rate of youth pre-employment duration with some proxy variables such as his/her parents' schooling, living with parents dummy, increasing rate of consumer price index representing the burdens of parents, monthly temporary/daily workers ratio, relative ratio of quarterly 90th percentile urban household income, monthly average wage differentials between the workers of large and small firms, etc. The results confirm us the fact that so called "MMFS Effect" has been effective enough and strengthened up to recently. The conventional job search theory should be extended to be able to introduce the influencing effects of other person's success, for instance MMFS's success, on the job search behavior of youths, too.

  • The purpose of this research was to identify the effects of factors determining life satisfaction (LS) of local residents in chungbuk province. After reviewing the literature, this research selected and developed the 9 categories and specific indicators of LS. This research had obtained data through a face to face investigation using questionnaire, which surveyed 1,619 residents at 11 local governments in chungbuk province. This research analyzed the data using descriptive statistical methods and multiple linear regression method. This research found that 1) the level of overall LS had 4.433 points out of 7, the level of residential environment satisfaction had highest point (4.911), but the level of leisure culture satisfaction had lowest point (4.155), 2) in multiple regression analysis, The effect of income and consumption level on LS was highest. The degree of labor and life-social services was important factor to increase LS. The results of this study were expected to provide many implications for implementing policies to improve LS in the country and local governments.

  • Thirty plants were screened for their antioxidative activity. The extracts of Agastache rugosa, Schizonepeta tenuifolia and Lycopus lucidus had high free radical(2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) scavenging activities. Methanol extract of Agastache rugosa was fractionated with hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate, and water. The ethyl acetate fraction showed the highest antioxidant activity in the DPPH test. The ethyl acetate fraction was applied to Sephadex LH-20 column, and the fractions showing antioxidative activity were collected and used for identification of the substance. The purified substance was applied to mass, IR, UV and NMR spectroscopy. The spectra of mass, IR, UV and NMR implied that the substance is a rosmarinic acids as a kind of phenolic compound. The rosmarinic acid has more antioxidative effect than those of BHT and ${\alpha}-tocopherol$ in the Rancimat test.

  • In this paper, we developed an efficient virtual experiment kit with creative and interactive multimedia contents, which can be used to enhance the quality of education in the area of digital logic circuits. Since our virtual experiment kit is implemented to describe the on-campus laboratory, the learners can obtain similar experimental data through it. Also, our web-based virtual experiment kit is designed to enhance the efficiency of both the learners and the educators. The learners will be able to achieve high learning standard and the educators save time and labor. The virtual experiment is performed according to the following procedure: (1) Circuit Composition on the Bread Board (2) Applying Input Voltage (3) Output Measurements (4) Checkout of Experiment Results. Furthermore, the circuit composition on the bread board and its corresponding online schematic diagram are displayed together on the virtual experiment kit for the learner's convenience. Finally, we have obtained several affirmative effects such as reducing the total experimental hours and the damage rate for experimental equipments and increasing learning efficiencies as well as faculty productivity.

  • This study "The advance Study of human resource development Program Object for community Peoples in Information Society." that is too much important in Information society and IMF times. Human resource development is the process by which a community insures that it has the right number and kinds of peoples, in the right places at the right time, doing the things for which they are economically most useful. In the IMF season, an ever increasing number of cooperations are appointing executive level positions responsible for the re-enpoloyment, advancement, development of teaching, and growth of human resources. As a result, the field is being viewed as an important strategic approach to improved productivity efficiency and profitability in information society. Also, human resource development is a dynamic and evolving field in the world business. Industrial society organizations consist of three types of resources that machines, financial and human but, today have resource of organization that Knowledge, information and idea all include human. Human resource development factors will be consisted of that individual development, career development, motivation, Image making, Orignal idea development orientation and education and management time.ment time.

  • This study is a descriptive study to investigate the presenteeism of nursing in long-term care hospital and general hospital. Data collection was conducted from October 01, 2019 to December 30, 2019. 74 nursing in long-term care hospital and 75 nursing in general hospital in this study. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS Win 21.0 program. Long-term care hospital nurses perceived higher health problems, job loss and perceiver productivity than general hospital nurses. This shows that there is no difference in work intensity according to the classification of patients in long-term care hospitals and general hospital nurses. In order to improve the quality of nursing care services in long-term care hospitals, it is necessary to manage the organizational aspects of long-term care hospital nurses' presenteeism.

  • This study examines the effect of consumption level on the life satisfaction of baby-boom generation and further examines the mediating effect of subjective expectation(standard of living and government policy). This research uses the panel survey to explore ageing society in 2012 made by Korean Labor Institute, which studied 1,756(born in 1955~1961). SPSS 21.0 Package was applied to analyze the date and multi-regression analysis was conducted. As a result, first, the findings show that as the consumption level increases, the life satisfaction of the baby-boom generation goes up. Second, the findings reveal that subjective expectation partially mediates the influences of consumption level on the life satisfaction of baby-boom generation. This study further discusses the theoretical and political implication of the direction properties on baby-boomer based upon the results of the study.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of emotional labor, somatic symptoms, and emotional support on quality of life among middle-aged women workers. Methods: The study design was a descriptive survey research. Data were collected from October 2013 to January 2014 in Korea. A self-reported questionnaire was administerd in a convenience sample of 264 middle aged women in various working places. The survey included socio-demographic and job-related factors, and the questionnaires about emotional labor, somatic symptoms, emotional support, and quality of life. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: Stepwise multiple regression showed that somatic symptoms had the greatest effect on quality of life (${\beta}=-1.65$, p<.001), followed by emotional support (${\beta}=0.67$, p<.001), and job satisfaction (${\beta}=3.98$, p<.001). And these variables accounted for 52% of quality of life among middle-aged women workers (F=97.14, p<.001). Conclusion: These results suggest for clinical nurses to take somatic symptoms, emotional support, and job satisfaction into special account in order to improve the middle aged women worker's quality of life. Ultimately, a health promotion program focusing on these influential variables in workplace need to be developed for the given population.
