우리 나라에서의 NC 공작기계에 관한 현황을 보면 약 100대의 각종 NC 공작기계가 수입되어 사 용되고 있다. NC 공작기계의 국산화는 KIST에서 최초로 시도되었는데 그 개발결과 성능면에서 호평을 받게 되었다. 기계를 국산화함에 있어서 그 구성부품들을 정밀가공하는 것도 중요하지만 그 보다 더 중요한 것은 완성된 기계시스템이 기능면에서 소기의 목적을 달성하는 것이라고 본다 . 본 개발연구에서는 이 점을 중요시하여 Systematic 한 해석과 그에 따른 구성부품의 선택및 제작에 신중을 기하여 소기의 NC 선반을 국산화하였는데 이 과정에서 고려가 되었던 기술적인 제문제와 그에대한 대책등을 소개하기로 한다.

태양광과 풍력 등의 신 재생에너지 전원은 기후나 은도, 지형적인 영향을 많이 받기 때문에 배전계통에 연계 시, 기존 배전계통의 운용에 좋지 않은 영향을 미치게 된다. 따라서 분산전원 계통 연계 시, 부하와 전원이 혼재되어 운용되는 형태의 배전계통에서 야기되는 보호협조(과도상태)에 관한 여러 가지 문제점을 검토, 분석할 수 있는 알고리즘의 개발이 요구되고 있다.

2000년 4월, 강원도 삼척일대에 크게 발생한 산불지역에 대해서 Landsat TM 인공위성 영상자료를 이용하여 산불의 피해지역을 조사분석하였다. 산불발생 전과 후의 2시기 위성영상을 이용하여 변화탐지 기법의 하나인 화상간차이법을 적용하였다. 분석결과 산불 발생지역의 탐지에는 NDVI를 유도하고 그 차이를 이용하는 것이 가장 탁월한 것으로 나타났다. 산불 피해지역을 구분하는 임계값을 표준편차$\times$0.9로 하였을 때, 현지조사 결과에 대한 전체정확도는 93.8%, 카파계수는 0.82로 매우 높았다.

본 논문에서는 분산전원이 배전계통에 연계되어 운용되는 경우, 배전용변전소의 전압조정장치(ULTC)의 최적 운용 방안에 대한 알고리즘을 제시한다. 먼저, ULTC의 최적 송출전압을 결정하는 방안을 제시하고, ULTC의 LDC 정정치(등가임피던스, 부하중심점전압)를 계산하는 알고리즘을 제시하고, 이에 근거하여 프로그램을 개발하였다.

The Battery Storage System (BSS) has been used in foreign country for Load Levelling, Flicker Compensation, Load Frequency Control, etc. because it has easy application characteristics compared to the other storage system such as the Pumped Hydro System, Compressed Air System, etc.. In this paper, the application field and available capacity of BSS is outlined in Korea.

In this paper, an adaptive algorithm for processes with unmeasured deterministic disturbances is presented. This algorithm is simple to synthesize an adaptive controller with desired pole/zero assignment. The internal stability requirement is achieved so that this algorithm can easily handle any minimum or non-minimum phase system. Some simulations are given to show the applicability of this approach.

A machining processes for flange panel has been introduced. Contrary to the conventional methods like forming and welding, roll-seaming method has been utilized for better quality and less cost. Several measurement methods including digital image processing have been used to confirm the product quality assurance.
