  • 운전자의 경험과 판단에 전적으로 의존하는 빙축열 시스템의 기존 운전방식에서는 운전자의 그릇된 판단과 미숙한 운전으로 인해 과잉 축열이나 냉방공급량 부족현상이 자주 초래된다. 본 논문에서는 경제적이고 효율적인 빙축열 시스템의 운용을 위해 다음날의 구간별 온도, 습도와 냉방부하를 예측하는 자기구성퍼지모델 구축방안을 제안한다. 제안된 방법의 성능과 실제 적용가능성을 검증학기 위하여 한국전력 속초 생활연수원을 대상으로 제안된 방법과 신경회로망, 퍼지모델, 선형회귀모델 등을 이용한 기존의 방법을 적용하여 구한 냉방부하, 온도, 습도의 예측정확도를 비교 분석한다.

  • In this paper, the TOU tariff's based building indoor temperature control algorithm in cooling systems is proposed using control horizon method. A control horizon switching method and linear programming algorithm is used for optimal control, and both TOU and peak tariffs are included to calculate the energy costs. Simulation results show that the reductions of energy cost and peak power can be obtained using proposed algorithms.

  • In a residential complex case, the efficiency of land use are maximized, but a variation of external condition such as load in-equality, the increase in wind velocity and solar radiation by a height causes increasing energy in a building. Besides, because of increasing window size for a lighting and a view, it comes heating load in winter and cooling load in summer. A choice of cooling-system is important for this reason. Recently an internal high-rise residential complex installs an air-cooling system and operates individual heating. However, this study applies water-cooling used one public cooling-tower instead of an air-cooling system, also with an efficiency test of an air and a water-cooling system, consider an internal applicability.

  • Generally, the generation methods of cooling energy are electric air conditioning (EAC) and gas air conditioning (GAC). The EAC system is caused by increasing peak power during summer. Because the electric energy has a characteristic of non-storage, the peak electric load has been issued social problem annually whether the facility to supply is enough or not. Another way to supply cooling energy, GAC system is worked by gas energy. The absorption chiller and gas engine heat pump have been commercialized for cooling. However, the total capacity of GAC is much less than EAC and it almost depends on EAC for small market. This paper described the status of cooling energy consumption in domestic and expected the cooling energy to be consumed by electric and gas energy up to 2024 year. And also the benefit of GAC was analyzed with the case of its expansion and it was aimed to give background to fit the GAC policy.

  • The objective of this study is to investigate cooling performance characteristics of mobile air conditioning system using R744 as an alternative of R-134a. In order to analyze the cooling performance characteristics of the air conditioning system using R744 for a passenger vehicle, the developed air conditioning system using R744 was applied in a real passenger vehicle and tested under various operating conditions with the variation of gas-cooler inlet air conditions, evaporator inlet air temperatures and compressor speeds. As a result, cooling capacity and coefficient of performance (COP) of the tested air conditioning system decreased with the rise of the inlet air temperature of the gas cooler but increased with the rise of the inlet air temperature of the evaporator. In addition, cooling capacity and coefficient of performance (COP) increased by 42.2 % with the rise of the compressor speed from 900 rev/min to 1800 rev/min, but it decreased by 55.4%.

  • The objective of this study is to investigate performance characteristics of the thermal management system for passenger hydrogen fuel cell vehicle under various operating conditions. The thermal management systems comprised of a stack cooling system, an electric device cooling system and an air conditioning system for a passenger room were tested with driving conditions. As a result, in highway driving mode, the cooling performance of the stack cooling system with air conditioning on condition was 28.8 % lower than that of the air conditioning off condition. And cooling load of the electric cooling system in the city driving mode was 65.6% higher than that of the highway driving mode.

  • This paper presents the system design process of district community cooling system using LNG cold energy. The newly developed LNG cooling system includes several heat exchangers, LNG storage tank, thermal mass storage tank, several cold energy storage tanks, gas air-conditioners, compressors, constant pressure regulators, cold energy and hot energy supply pipes. In addition, the gas air-conditioner system is installed to supply not sufficient cold energy due to low level of city gas consumptions during a summer period. This system design is very effective and safe to supply cold energy mass of fresh air by exchanging two thermal masses of an air and 200kcal/kg cold energy of LNG. The district community cooling system with LNG cold energy does not produce CO2 and freon gases in the air.
