Supervisor System Development for Improving Quality of RFID Cold Storage Management Systems (RFID 냉동창고 관리시스템의 품질향상을 위한 슈퍼바이저 시스템 개발)

  • A cold storage is a warehouse of a insulated building with cooling installations. It has many different types of cold rooms with temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius, and the sequential workflow such as receiving, picking and packing runs in that rooms. Recently, the cold storages have adopted RFID technology, and consequently, warehouse product management in them are becoming intelligent and network. However, information inconsistency in warehouses caused by physical and logical errors reduces reliability in the RFID cold storage management system and worsens their work efficiency. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an early detection system to identify errors. In this paper, we suggest a supervisory system detecting logical errors on business processes of the RFID cold storage. It is composed of a master supervisor and mobile supervisor. In the master supervisor, the manager can set the constraints conditions and get alerts, and in the mobile supervisor, the workers confirm and deal with these faults directly. The supervisory system improve reliability of the RFID cold storage management system by recognizing a failure to identify physically and logically using these constraint conditions. This paper shows that the supervisory system can reduce the average recovery time to improve reliability by decreasing the time for detecting and analyzing errors in the RFID cold storage management system.

  • 펠티어효과가 10여년 전에 발견되었으나 이것을 공학분야에 응용되기 시작한 것은 반도체 재료가 개발되기 시작한 1950년경부터 실용화되기 시작하였다. 이러한 열전식 열펌프를 이용하여 냉 각시스템을 만들 경우 재래식인 기계식 냉동시스템과 비교해 볼 때 여러 가지 장점이 있다. 열전식 냉동방법은 전자가 한 반도체에서 다른 반도체로 이동하면서 그 주위의 열과 함께 이동 하는 원리를 이용한 것이기 때문에 기계식 냉동시스템의 중요한 구성품인 압축기, 증발기, 응 축기, 용매제와 같은 부품이 전혀 필요가 없다. 움직이는 부품이 없기 때문에 소음이 없고 신 뢰성이 높다. 100W 보다 적은 열출력에 대해서는 무게가 적고 부피가 적은 장점이 있다. 또한 습도 제어가 정확하고 전류의 방향만 바꾸워 주면 쉽게 냉동에서 가열로 전환이 된다. 작동습 도범위는 제품에 따라 다르지만 대개 +100.deg.C~ -125.deg. C까지 가능하다. 이러한 장점 때 문에 가장 많이 응용되고 있는 분야는 군사무기인 관성항법유도무기의 전자부품실을 냉각시켜 주는 데 사용되고 그 외에 용도는 다양하다. 본 고에서는 열전식 열펌프의 원리와 그 응용에 대해서 가능한 상세히 설명하여 앞으로 이 분야에 대한 연구에 보템이 되고저 한다.

Analysis of Performance Characteristics of a Cascade Refrigeration System with Internal Heat Exchanger using Natural Refrigerants (천연냉매를 사용하는 내부 열교환기 부착 캐스케이드 냉동시스템의 성능 특성 분석)

  • In this paper, the cycle performance characteristics of a cascade refrigeration system with internal heat exchanger using natural refrigerants is presented to offer the basic design data for the operating parameters of the system. This system considered in this study is consisted of a high temperature cycle using a carbon dioxide(R744) and low temperature cycle using refrigerants such as R290, R1270, R600a and Ethane. The main results were summarized as follows : The COP of the cascade refrigeration system of R600a with internal heat exchanger is the highest grade in low temperature cycle using refrigerants such as R290, R1270, R600a and Ethane. The COP of the cascade refrigeration system with internal heat exchanger only in high temperature cycle is the highest value among three type cycle, such as only low temperature cycle, only high temperature cycle and all the cycle.

Mass flow rate ratio analysis for optimal refrigerant charge of a R744 and R404A cascade refrigeration system (R744-R404A 캐스케이드 냉동시스템의 최적 냉매 충전을 위한 질량유량비 분석)

  • In this paper, the influences of several factors, such as subcooling, superheating degree, internal heat exchanger efficiency, and etc. to the optimal amount of refrigerant charge are investigated for the case of R744-R404A cascade refrigeration system. Refrigerants used in the cascade refrigeration system are R404A in high temperature cycle and R744 in the low temperature cycle. The main results are summarized as follows : The mass flow rate ratio decreases with increasing subcooling, superheating degree and internal heat exchanger efficiency in the high temperature cycle, and evaporating temperature and compression efficiency in the low temperature cycle. And the mass flow rate ratio decreases with decreasing temperature difference of cascade heat exchanger and evaporating, condensing temperature in the high temperature cycle, and subcooling, superheating degree and internal heat exchanger efficiency in the low temperature cycle.

태양열을 이용한 냉방장치 -급수식 냉동기를 중심으로-

  • 태양열을 냉방에 이용하기 위한 시스템은 집열기,열교환기,냉동기 등으로 구성된다. 집열기는 난 방시와 마찬가지로 볼 때 냉난방을 병용하는 집열기를 사용하면 유리하다. 열교환기는 집열기에 서 수집한 열을 냉방기에 전달시키는 기능을 가지는데 용도에 따라 이것을 사용하지 않는 경우도 있다. 냉동기로는 보통 흡수식 냉동기를 사요하나 그외 개방식, 분사식 등의 냉동기도 사용된다. 그러나 분방식 냉동기는 취급은 용이하나 흡수제의 재생조건이 까다로워 높은 습기를 갖는 경우 재생온도가 역시 높아져야 하므로 우리나라의 경우에는 여름철의 습도가 높기 때문에 재생온도가 높아져야 하므로 태양열 냉방에는 부적당하다. 또 분사식 냉동기의 경우 성적계수(Coefficient of Performance) 가 다른 냉동기에 비해 낮고 증기압력이 낮으면 이것이 극히 낮아지기 때문에 태양 열 냉방에 많이 사용하지 않는다. 그래서 태양열 냉방에 있어서 냉동기는 거의 흡수식을 사용하 고 있으며, 여기에서도 주로 흡수식 냉동기를 사용한 냉방에 대하여 논하고져 한다.

  • As the size of buildings increases due to urbanization due to the development of industry, the need to purify the air and maintain a comfortable indoor environment is also increasing. With the development of monitoring technology for refrigeration systems, it has become possible to manage the amount of electricity consumed in buildings. In particular, refrigeration systems account for about 40% of power consumption in commercial buildings. Therefore, in order to develop the refrigeration system failure diagnosis algorithm in this study, the purpose of this study was to understand the structure of the refrigeration system, collect and analyze data generated during the operation of the refrigeration system, and quickly detect and classify failure situations with various types and severity . In particular, in order to improve the classification accuracy of failure types that are difficult to classify, a three-step diagnosis and classification algorithm was developed and proposed. A model based on SVM and LGBM was presented as a classification model suitable for each stage after a number of experiments and hyper-parameter optimization process. In this study, the characteristics affecting failure were preserved as much as possible, and all failure types, including refrigerant-related failures, which had been difficult in previous studies, were derived with excellent results.

A Study on the Adaptability of Oxygen Reduction System to Fire in Cold Storage through Fire Simulation Analysis (화재시뮬레이션 분석을 통한 냉장·냉동 창고 화재의 저산소 시스템 적응성에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: The number of Cold Storages at home and abroad is on the rise, fires in large Cold Storages have recently occurred. As fires continue to occur and property damage is on the rise every year, the importance of preventing fires in large Cold Storage is growing. Method: Real Cold Storages were investigated on-site and fire cases were analyzed to derive and analyze fire risk, and the ORS, which is emerging as an adaptive fire prevention technology of Cold Storage, was investigated through FDS. Result: oxygen concentration 21, 15.7% and 17.7, 16.7% were analyzed through FDS, and flashover was reached within 3~4 minutes from 21, 17.7, 16.7%, but if oxygen concentration was lowered to 15.7%, it didn't ignite for 13 minutes. Conclusion: This study understood the concept and general part of the ORS, modeled the freezer through FDS, and analyzed the oxygen concentration to analyze the fire protection adaptability of the ORS. In the future, it is expected that large-scale empirical experiments and related regulations will be prepared to provide solutions for fire prevention in Cold Storages in blind spots of fire.

  • This paper addresses how to reduce or redesign uncomfortable sound from small refrigerator by modifying some structures in mechanical components or operating conditions. After performing vibration analysis on each component and then sound analysis are carried out. From stepped designed experiments, we could acquire some important results that structure and flow induced vibration assumed to be a major cause to noise level and frequencies. Modifying some mechanical structure and operating conditions, uncomfortable starting noise and beating sound are suppressed. Machinery room located in refrigerator's backside is investigated for vibration and noise suppression, and some ideas for more improvement are suggested.

  • The ice machine is the machine for making ice. As most of the companies that manufactures and sells the ice machine are small and medium-sized companies, they have been they have been experiencing the trouble for the after-sales service after selling the machine. The difficulties of the after-sales service are mostly caused by unnecessary customer service requests of the purchaser, which eventually leads to the unnecessary expenditure of the seller and the purchaser. However, financially, the poor ice machine manufacturers want to reduce this cost as much as possible. Furthermore, even if they want to sell their products overseas, they are hesitating because of the after-sales service. For this reason, the companies making the ice machine need a system which checks the status of the ice machine and takes the proper actions without the visiting service. Therefore, this paper introduces the remote control and operational status monitoring systems which can monitor the status of the ice machine in the remote area and control it as needed. Through the developed system, the company manufacturing the ice machine and the manager of the ice machine can understand the current status of the ice machine and respond against the ice machine's trouble, immediately. In addition, it can be expected to have great effects on cost reduction because the maintenance and management after selling can be efficiently performed.
