One of the most important aspects of the research on multi-agent systems is the definition of agent communication languages(ACLs) and the specification of a proper formal semantics of ACLs. In this paper, we propose an illocutionary effect-based FIPA-ACL semantics which overcomes the two traditional semantic approaches. The key idea of this new semantics is based on the semantic concepts of success and satisfaction conditions of illocutionary acts in speech act theory, and the common ground theory-based framework. As case studies using this new semantics, we define the primitive speech acts of FIPA-ACL such as inform and request. For the strengths of the proposed approach we illustrate our new semantics on an e-commerce agent purchase negotiation. Also, we compare this approach with two traditional semantic approaches for ACLs.

The purpose of this study was to shed light on a role of hope in understanding the relationship between the search for meaning in life and academic satisfaction and to suggest ways to increase hope among Korean students. We hypothesized that the relationship between search for meaning in life and academic satisfaction would be mediated by hope and the positive relationship between search for meaning and hope would be strengthened by family support and friend support. We conducted two surveys to examine the hypotheses. Based on Study 1 using a sample of 190 undergraduate students, we found that the relationship between search for meaning in life and academic satisfaction was fully mediated by hope. In Study 2, we examined the four types of hope that include internal hope and three types of external hope (i.e., family, friends, and supernatural being) to extend knowledge on what features of hope mediate the relationships between search for meaning and academic satisfaction. Study 2 based on a sample of 313 high school students showed that the link from the search for meaning in life and academic satisfaction was fully mediated by internal hope and external-peers hope. The mediating effects of external-family hope and external-spiritual hope were not significant in Study 2. Also, we found that family support strengthened the positive links from the search for meaning in life to hope (Study 1) and to internal hope (Study 2) while the interactive effects of friend support and the search for meaning on hope were not significant in both studies. Based on the results, we discussed several implications, limitations, and recommendations for future research.

이 글은 그 동안 '숙어' 또는 '관용어'라는 이름 하에 별 다른 구별 없이 일괄적으로 다루어져 왔던 현대 국어 관용구를 그의 형태적 통사적 의미론적 결합 관계의 특성에 따라 재분류하여 그들의 특성과 하위 분류 등을 밝혀 보았다. 즉, 관용구를 그 내적구조의 특성, 구성요소들 사이의 의미상의 관련성의 긴밀도, 어휘와의 정도에 따라, 어휘화된 정도가 가장 높고 긴밀도에 있어서도 가장 높고 내적구성에 있어서도 여러 가지 특성을 보이는 것을 '숙어'라 하고, 그 이외의 것을 '연어'라 했다. '연어'가 생겨난 요인에 따라 '형태적 연어'와 '통사적 연어', '의미적 연어'로 나누었다. 이러한 분류는 국어 관용구의 특성을 밝혀 줄 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 이에 더 나아가 각 관용구의 특성에 따른 올바른 기술을 통해 국어의 특수한 어휘 결합에 대한 보다 나은 이해를 꾀할 수 있다고 본다.

물발자국은 개인이나 지역, 집단 등이 소비하는 재화와 서비스를 생산하는데 필요한 물의 총량을 나타낸다. 물발자국은 실제 눈에 보이지 않지만 생산품에 내포되는 수자원으로서 농 축산물의 국가간 교역시 가상수의 흐름이 내포되어 있고, 이에 따라 국가별, 품목별로 농 축산물 수출입에 따른 물발자국이 산정될 수 있다. 농 축산물의 물발자국은 농업용수와 관계가 있기 때문에 수출입 정책과 농업용수 수자원 확보를 동시에 고려하기 위하여 주요 농 축산물에 대한 국가간 가상수의 흐름을 분석하고, 이에 따른 국내의 물발자국의 영향을 살펴볼 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 농 축산물 교역을 통하여 이동되는 가상수의 흐름과 양을 산정하고 국내의 내적, 외적 물발자국의 변화를 분석하고자 하였다. 먼저 과거 5년 이상의 국가간 농 축산물의 교역량을 조사하고, 주요 농 축산물에 대한 가상수량을 적용하여 국가별, 품목별 Green, Blue, Grey 물발자국을 각각 산정하고 비교하였다. 특히 Blue water는 인위적으로 공급되는 용수이므로 수자원 절약의 측면에서 중요한 의미를 지니고 있다. 다음으로 주요 농 축산물의 국가간 물발자국 산정결과를 통하여 우리나라의 내적, 외적 물발자국을 산정하였다. 내적 물발자국은 자국내에서 생산되는 농 축산물의 가상수를 의미하고, 외적 물발자국은 수입되는 농 축산물에 대한 가상수를 의미한다. 내적, 외적 물 발자국의 비교를 통하여 품목별로 우리나라의 수자원 의존도 등을 평가할 수 있다. 본 연구결과는 단순히 농 축산물의 교역이 물품의 흐름이 뿐만 아니라 물품에 포함되는 가상수의 흐름을 동시에 고려한 것으로서 향후 농 축산물 수출입 정책과 수자원 정책을 동시에 고려하는 농축산업 관련 정책 수립시 중요한 기초자료로서 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

This paper provides a semantic account of double nominative constructions in the framework of Autolexical Grammar, which views syntax, semantics, morphology, and other language components as modules generated simultaneously and independently. Some syntactocentric models in the past analyzed double nominatives as a result of possessor raising, ECM or incorporation. This paper provides a semantic explication of double nominatives through function-argument (F/A) structure of internal possession and external possession. The possessum used in double nominatives is a relational noun which takes a possessor as its argument in F/A structure. If the possessor directly combines with the relational noun, then internal possession is generated. If the possessor is a gap in F/A structure, then the argument which is coreferential with the gap combines later with the predicate, resulting in external possession, in which the possessor is in the nominative case. Unlike internal possession, the F/A structure of external possession structurally shows that the sentence is predicated of the possessor.

명예에 관한 죄는 사람의 사회적 인격성을 침해하는 범죄로서 보호법익은 '명예'이다. 명예는 인간의 존엄성을 바탕으로 사람이 사회적, 윤리적, 정신적으로 당연히 누려야할 인격적 가치를 말한다. 이는 크게 외적명예, 내적명예, 명예감정으로 나눌 수 있는데, 외적명예는 사람의 인격가치에 대한 사회적 평가를 의미한다. 내적명예는 사람의 고유한 인격가치로서 사람이 출생과 함께 갖게 되는 윤리적 사회적인 인격적 가치제를 말한다. 명예감정은 자기의 인격가치에 대한 자신의 주관적 평가를 말한다.

The configuration analysis for the image appeared in the storyboard as the 1st stage to change the scenario to the image expressed the visual phenomenon image starting from the literalism. The simultaneity of description on the interpretative level of the narrative description may describe various information multiple simultaneously, the relationship has been presented as a lot of these information has been weaved as one episode. The incident time of narrative description as the scene described mainly objectively and illustratively has been used usefully to present the accurate information for characters or incidents. The time series of narrative description appeared as one episode by expressing various spaces or images under the continuity of flow according to the time. The collision image seen from the angle of internal ignition played a role to create the meaning colliding into each other or interconnecting symbolic effects appeared as respectively fragmented image, the continuity of space played a role of expressing the different symbol when the image of completely different space is connected to one context, the continuity of time as well makes a different symbolism by interpreting symbols appeared as each images under the flow of time. These results show that the narrative description may be expressed in accordance with the narrative structure from the viewpoints of narrative description, but the internal ignition may be interpreted through the cultural and periodical background widely known in those years based on the experience and information capability the audiences are keeping not by any descriptive structure. Images appeared in the internal ignition appeared by colliding into each other or amplifying mutually no related scenes and revealing the overall symbolism by reinterpreting again.

The meanings of division don't change and rather are connected from whole numbers to rational numbers. In this respect, connecting division of natural numbers, division of fractions, and division of decimal numbers could help for students to study division in meaningful ways. Against this background, the units of division of fractions and division of decimal numbers in fifth grade were redesigned in a way for students to connect meanings of division and procedures of division. The results showed that most students were able to understand the division meanings and build correct expressions. In addition, the students were able to make appropriate division situations when given only division expressions. On the other hand, some students had difficulties in understanding division situations with fractions or decimal numbers and tended to use specific procedures without applying diverse principles. This study is expected to suggest implications for how to connect division throughout mathematics in elementary school.

딥러닝(Deep-learning) 기반의 자연어 이해(Natural Language Understanding) 기술들은 최근에 상당한 성과를 성취했다. 하지만 딥러닝 기반의 자연어 이해 기술들은 내적인 동작들과 결정에 대한 근거를 설명하기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 벡터를 그래프로 변환함으로써 신경망의 내적인 의미 표현들을 설명할 수 있도록 한다. 먼저 인간과 기계 모두가 이해 가능한 표현방법의 하나로 그래프를 주요 표현방법으로 선택하였다. 또한 그래프의 구성요소인 노드(Node) 및 엣지(Edge)의 결정을 위한 Element-Importance Inverse-Semantic-Importance(EI-ISI) 점수와 Element-Element-Correlation(EEC) 점수를 심층신경망의 훈련방법 중 하나인 드랍아웃(Dropout)을 통해 계산하는 방법을 제안한다. 다양한 실험들을 통해, 본 연구에서 제안한 벡터-그래프(Vector2graph) 변환 프레임워크가 성공적으로 벡터의 의미정보를 유지하면서도, 설명 가능한 그래프를 생성함을 보인다. 더불어, 그래프 기반의 새로운 시각화 방법을 소개한다.

The purpose of this paper is to create an inter-religious dialogue between the Western Christian concept of the spirit and Eastern ch'i philosophy within the category of panentheism. The Hebrew term ruah means 'moving air' and 'wind' which derive from the particular experience of the ancient Hebrew people living in the desert. The Greek pnuema also means 'life' and 'wind' which denote the natural power. Both ruah and pneuma consist of the main idea of the spirit exploring the symbol of relationality of the divine in Western tradition. Eastern ch'i philosophy indicates a vital force for keeping the body and soul alive, which is unconscious and spontaneous. Ch'i as a vital force constitutes cosmogony and cosmology with the constant movement of yin and yang. Yin and Yang as representing earth and heaven are dynamic breaths, blending harmoniously to become all existence. The ethical implication of the inter-religious dialogue between the spirit and ch'i would be the integration and interconnection of heaven, earth, and human beings. The dialogue suggests becoming one body with nature and human community through embodying the non-dualistic spirit of life. The inter-relationality means that since all modalities of existence are made of the cosmic life, human beings are part of the divine cosmic process. This is related to degree of spirituality in the entire chain of being: rocks, trees, animals, humans, and goods represent different levels of spirituality based on the varying composition of the spirit and ch'i. All beings that internally embody with the spirit and ch'i are organically inter-connected, and they are integral part of a continuous process of transformation of life towards holistic liberation of human and nature community.
