We would generally use subject terms such as subject indexing for searching and accessing documents. So then, there must be any relationship between document's full-text and its subject terms. This study is started in this question. Master's theses in field of science and technology are worked with because full-text is relatively formatted. This study is to study locations of subject term on Thesis, distribution patterns of subject terms on content of full-text; 'Contents', 'Introduction', 'Theory', 'Main subject', 'Conclusion' and 'References'. Thesis were averagely composed of 1226.3 terms. And Subject terms were averagely compose of $12{\sim}13$ terms. As a result, 'Contents' and 'Introduction' have had the most frequency of subject.

In this paper, a method for automatic indexing of contents to reduce effort for inputting paper information and constructing index is considered. Existing document analysis methods can't analyse various table of contents of journal paper formats efficiently because they have many exceptions. In this paper, various contents formats for journals, which have different features from those for general documents, are analysed and described. The principal elements that we want to represent are titles, authors, and pages for each papers. Thus, the three principal elements are modeled according to the order of their arrangement, and their features are extracted. And a table of content recognition system of journal is implemented, based on the proposed modeling method. The accuracy of exact extraction ratio of 91.5% on title, author, and page type on 660 published papers of various journals is obtained.

The purpose of this study is to develop standard curriculum content for the Introduction to Library and Information Science course. We intended to suggest both a syllabus and a textbook for this course. To this end, we collected and analyzed syllabi and textbooks that are used in LIS departments domestically and abroad. As a result, the major course content we found necessary to include in Introduction to Library and Information Science were as follows: 1. knowledge and information society, 2. information and sources of information, 3. the LIS academic system, 4. information professionals, 5. library history, 6. library and information center organization and management, 7. library types and their functions, 8. collection development, 9. information resources organization, 10. information services, 11. digital libraries, 12. information retrieval and databases 13. library cooperation, 14. library policy and information ethics, etc. The table of contents of a final textbook has been proposed including these elements.

이 연구에서는 텍스트 문서를 웹에서 HTML 문서 형태로 효율적으로 검색할 수 있는 변환 시스템을 개발하였다. 웹상에 사용자가 원하는 부분만을 HTML 문서 형태로 제공하도록 문서의 논리적인 구조를 파악하며 그 구조에 대한 정보와 각 논리 단위에 해당하는 부분의 범위 정보를 저장할 수 있도록 관계형 데이터베이스 스키마를 개발하였다. 개발한 시스템은 문서의 목차 테이블을 자동으로 구축하고 목차 테이블의 각 항목에 하이퍼링크를 설정한다. 문서를 웹에서 검색하기 위한 첫 화면은 목차 테이블이며, 그 중 한 항목이 클릭되면 그 항목의 내용이 제공되고, 만약 그 하위에 속하는 항목들이 있다면 그들에 대한 링크를 역시 제공한다. 이러한 방법으로 한 문서의 전체를 그 논리 구조에 따라 사용자가 원하는 대로 검색할 수 있다. 이 시스템은 멀티미디어 타입의 문서를 하이퍼미디어 문서 형식으로 변환할 수 있도록 확장하여 보완 개발될 수 있고, 장래에 전자 출판과 전자 도서관에 응용될 수 있다.

From 2011, newly developed Information textbook will be given to high school students. This research investigates contents of the new Information textbook and attempts to offer improvement of the book, which were compiled according to the 2007 Revised Curriculum. This thesis aims to make a comparative analysis of the contents and structure of six Information textbook which passed the screening. The structures of six textbooks were examined under four sections, which are overall structure, relative importance in the textbook, development method, and evaluation type. Moreover, for analyzing the contents, the research investigated the number of the major concepts that are dealt in the textbooks. The results show that there are too many difficult concepts for high school students and reveals that there are big difference in the contents and construction among textbooks. This research suggests how the textbook should be revised in the light of the contents, construction, terminology, and practical training.

This research was conducted to provide standardization method for new dental hygiene curriculum by identifying the overlapping of education content of the Department of Dental Hygiene and analytic syllabus. To complement these overlapping education programs, I would like to make some proposals. First, unified course shall be provided by compromising specific terms of overlapping subject, overlapping curriculums for the necessary skills required for job analysis of dental hygienist and overlapping class time. This shall increase the efficiency the class time and required curriculums. Next, proactive and continuos research for standardized approach to the Department of Dental Hygiene education content is necessary and Dental Hygiene academic circle shall build trust.
