This study is focused on showing possibilities and limitations of the disabled men roles through the relationships with migrant women in korean novels, furthermore it is discovering the problems and the directions for successful cohabitation of the disabled men and migrant women in Korea. To accomplish this purpose of study, we analyzed and criticized 5 Korean novels which described the life of a disabled man with a migrant woman in Korean multicultural society. As a result, the disabled man in those relationships represented the man who was only true to his own desires or the man of the minority in social restraint due to disability and also those men can be classified as attackers or helpers for their migrant lovers. These formulaic expressions being problematic by themselves also facilitate making distorted images of the disabled men and migrant women.

This study explored the phenomenon of heterosexual women embracing Boys' Love manga within the heteronormativity context from a feminist psychological perspective. Specifically, the issue of genre characteristics of Boys' Love manga, women's psychological mechanism of reading Boys' Love manga, and the functions and effects of embracing Boys' Love manga were discussed. As a theoretical framework of analysis, I started from the classical psychoanalysis and critically adopted the concepts of the various camps of feminism, queer theory, and Huizinga's Homo Rudens. The results show that Boys' Love manga can be classified as a sub-category of the romance genre, which fulfills heterosexual women's desires of eternal love and equal partnership. From these wish-fulfilling fantasies, heterosexual women attempt to be decontextualized from the heteropatriarchism, to enjoy distancing and voyeuristic separation from the characters in the texts, and to disturb the dichotomous gender system through gender reversal identification. These processes, which can be regarded as a women's play challenging sexual rigorism, ultimately bring about an awareness of the female sexual subjectivity.

The purpose of this study is to find meaning of male nurses's adaptation to female nurses by grsping deeply what the adaption process of male nurses is from male nurses's point of views. What is the adaptation of male nurses to female nurses? With this research subject, we explored the adaptation process of male nurses to female nurses through phenomenological method. The study participants were 12 male nurses with more than 25 months of experience working in hospitals who agreed to the intention and method of the study. The results of this study were derived from 39 meanings of composition, 13 theme bundles, and 4 categories. As for the category, it was revealed that, in the case of maladjustment situation, there was a tendency to assimilate into force, interpersonal relationship, to improve the job ability, and to become a dedicated nurse. The results of this study can be used as basic data to develop effective nursing workforce management measures in the clinical field by understanding the adaptation process to female nurses of male nurses.

Men's beauty experts are engaged in the beauty area, which has been recognized as a woman's entirety due to changes in the society in which the standards of the occupational groups according to sex are collapsed. The purpose of this study is to find out the strategic implications for attracting male beauty workers to male beauty practitioners through the influence of the service quality of male sales workers of cosmetics road shop among the growing beauty industry and increasing male beauty practitioners. I want to provide you with basic data. As a result, the service quality of male sales personnel of cosmetics road shop had a positive effect on the purchasing intention. As a result, male sales workers of cosmetics road shop seemed to have a well - It is necessary to provide continuous product education and education to provide prompt and accurate service.

As the attitudes toward women is ambivalent (both hostile and ambivalent), people have a tendency to have ambivalent attitudes toward men. Despite conflicts between men and women caused by misogyny and misogyny have recently worsened in a Korean society, most of previous Korean studies have focused on the attitudes toward women. In addition, there has been no scale to measure such ambivalent attitudes toward men in Korea. Therefore, this study was designed to translate and validate the Ambivalence toward Men Inventory, a scale developed and currently utilized in the United State. Sample 1 (183 college students), sample 2 (300 college students), and sample 3 (317 adults) were used. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses resulted in 16 items and 2 factors. The tests of convergent and concurrent validity revealed strong evidence for the validity of the Korean version of the Ambivalence toward Men Inventory and the reliabilities of the two factors were .830~.917.

During the past decade, interest in and knowledge of eating disorders have increased in the medical, social science, and popular literature. Despite this advance in this field, eating disorders in males have received relatively little attention in the literature. However, in recent years, there has been increased awareness that eating disorders occurs in males, as well as females, although research and theoretical discussions concerning this subgroup still remain scare. In this review, the author highlights the clinical characteristics that distinguish male patients with eating disorders from their female counterparts. The identification of such characteristics will improve diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders in males and may increase our understanding of processes that are specific to eating disorders in both sexes.

본 연구의 목적은 노년층 남성과 여성의 인구통계적 특성이 의복태도, 의복행동, 쇼핑행동에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 것이다. 설문지를 통하여 나이 55세 이상의 미국 남부에 거주하는 67명의 남성과 75명의 여성이 자료분석에 이용되었다. 의복 및 쇼핑과 관련된 변수로 의복태도, 유행의사 선도력, 기성복에 대한 만족, 쇼핑관심, 점포충성도가 사용되었으며, 인구통계적 특성은 수입, 결혼여부, 사회참여도, 학력, 나이, 성으로 구성되었다. 결과로 의복태도는 미혼일수록, 사회참여도가 높을수록, 학력이 높을수록 그 수치가 높은 것으로 낱났다. 기성복에 대한 만족은 수입과 학ㄱ력이 높을수록 또 남성이 여성에 비해 만족도가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 쇼핑에 대한 관심의 정도는 결혼여부, 학력, 성과 관련이 있었다. 즉 미혼일수록 교육수준이 높을수록 남성보다는 여성이 쇼핑에 관심이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 그 외 유해의사선도력은 오직 성에 의해서만 영향을 받았으며, 점포충성도 역시 학력에 의해서만 영향을 받았다. 남성과 여성 각각의 차이에 대한 분석에서는 남녀에 따라 인구통계적 특성이 의복태도, 의복행동, 쇼핑행동에 미치는 영향이 다르게 나타나 남녀간의 차이를 보여주었다. 예로 남성에게 있어 결혼여부는 쇼핑관심에 영향을 미치는 중요 변수이나 여성의 경우 교육수준이 쇼핑관심에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 유통업 종사자들은 노년층 남성 중 미혼자를, 노년층 여성 중 고학력자를 주요 표적으로 삼아 마케팅 전략을 세울 필요가 있다 하겠다.

This paper analyzes job sequences of men and women using optimal matching in order to find patterns of intra-generational mobility in Korean society. Men and women differ in their job careers: men show long-lasting job sequences with few gaps, while women either have short careers or have interrupted careers with long gaps. Long gaps in men's career are limited to those cases in which men move from agricultural to other job. The results from a combination of optimal matching and cluster analysis show that men's job sequences cluster around major occupations while women's cluster in terms of sequence length. The interrupted careers characteristic of women are considered to be consequent on the burdens of house keeping and child raising together with the discrimination against women pursuing careers.

남성 속옷은 신체 보호의 기능이 중요하지만 운동이나 거실 생활에서 속옷노출이 일반화됨에 따라 개성과 이미지를 표현할 수 있는 패션 아이템으로 변화되고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 남성 속옷 시장에서 소비자가 원하는 감성과 이미지를 파악하고 소비자가 선호하는 감성요구에 부합하는 소재 특성이 데이터베이스로 만들어져 소비자가 원하는 속옷 제품개발이 이루어지는 시스템의 구축이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 남성용 속옷 문양디자인 개발을 위한 목적으로 남성 트렁크 팬티용 문양의 감성 이미지를 파악하고자 하였다. 본 연구를 위하여 시판하는 트렁크 팬티 중 문양의 형태 및 크기, 색상을 달리한 50 종을 수집하였고, 이중 25 종의 트렁크 팬티용 문양 이미지에 대한 주관적 감성평가를 2009년 4 월 부산지역에 거주하는 20 대 남녀 22 명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 주관적 감성평가를 위해 직물 문양 선호도에 관한 선행연구를 바탕으로 빈번하게 출현되는 26 개의 감성 형용어를 추출하였다. 감성 형용어를 7 점 척도로 문항화하여 설문지를 구성하고 설문지와 함께 25 종의 팬티 자극물을 보고 평가하도록 하였다. 수집한 자료의 통계분석을 위해 SPSS Win 12.0을 사용하여 빈도분석, 카이제곱 검정, 요인분석 분간분석 사후분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구결과 남성용 트렁크 팬티의 문양에 관한 감성 형용에는 '고급성', '활동성', '단순성', '호화성', '성숙성'의 요인으로 요약되었으며, 문양의 고급 감성 및 활동적 스타일이 트렁크 팬티 선호도에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 트렁크 팬티의 색상 및 문양 유형이 선호도에 중요한 영향을 미치는 변수로 나타났는데, 남성 트렁크 팬티에 사용될 수 있는 무채색 계열의 고급스러우면서 단순한 도형 문양 디자인의 개발이 필요하다고 하겠다.

Objectives : The aims of present study was to investigate clinical characteristics of male patients with eating disorders. Methods : The present study included 32 male patients with eating disorders and 75 female patients with eating disorders, recruited from an eating disorders specialized clinic in a university hospital, Seoul, Korea. We compared clinical characteristics of eating disorders and comorbid conditions of depression and anxiety between men and women with eating disorders. Correlations between eating disorders psychopathology in men with eating disorders and their weight suppression(WS) were investigated. Results : There was no difference in age at presentation, age of onset, illness duration, and body mass index at presentation between genders. Male patients with eating disorders had higher rates of premorbid overweight or obesity than female patients with eating disorders had. WS in the male patients was associated with the severity of their eating disorders. Conclusions : The present study provides grounds for improved understanding for clinical features of eating disorders in males.
