소형항공기용 고정식 착륙장치의 동적특성에 관한 연구

  • Most of studies for landing gear have been performed to analyze the shock absorbing characteristics of oleo-pneumatic struts. But it is not easy to solve the dynamic specific properties of spring type composite landing gear using a present method. The shock absorbing abilities of oleo-pneumatic landing gear strut are under influence of the internal design method on the strut rather than the landing gear structure itself. Unlike oleo type, spring type composite strut absorbs the shock with structural strength and dynamic characteristics of the strut's material and shape. The tests and analysis for the shock absorbing rate and dynamic behavior of the spring type composite fixed landing gear for 4 seats small aircraft, have been performed using landing gear drop test rig.

  • Many malfunctions take place in container crane spreader due to impact. So we designed a 2DOF hydraulic impact absorbing system and studied the change of impulse with respect to the variation of falling height and weight. The falling height becomes higher than 1m and the falling weight goes up heavier than 100kg, the impact absorbing rate was lower. When spreader is bumped against container and impulse force concentrates on one point, impact absorbing equipment would not be operated properly and make some trouble.

  • In this paper, the drop/impact simulation for a mobile phone has been carried out with the explicit code LS-DYNA and its validation has been experimentally verified. The small size of this kind of electronics products makes it time-consuming, and difficult to conduct drop tests to detect the failure mechanism and identify their drop behaviors. Strict drop/impact performance criteria of such hand held electronic products as mobile phones play an important role in their design because these products must withstand both normal and unexpected shock. Usually, the product durability on drop impact depends on designers experience. The present reliable methodology of drop/impact simulation provides an efficient and powerful vehicle to improve the design quality and reduce the design period.

  • This study deals with the shock response analysis of HDD subjected to a half-sine shock pulse and its experimental verification. Comparatively, accurate computer simulation allows designers to determine complete mechanical information during the product impact time period, compared with only segmental messages by sensors in a test, to predict potential failures. But, impact/shock simulation technology is rather sensitive to various factors to predict the shock behavior without validation. In our shock simulation, the methodology of analysis with LS-DYNA3D and test validation is adopted to predict the shock behavior of HDD. We can confirm the soundness of the present shock simulation through the comparison with electromagnetic shock test(200G/1ms) and linear drop test(300G/2ms).

수송용기 충격완충체 용접강도의 충돌거동 영향 평가

  • 사용 후 핵연료 수송용기의 충돌사고에 대한 안전성은 층격완충체의 층격흡수특성에 지배되며, 충격완충체의 충격홉수특성은 외부의 케이스와 내부 격막판 둥의 철제 구조물과 내부에 삽입된 충격흡수재의 변형특성에 지배를 받는다. 충격흡수재를 감싸주는 철제 케이스와 내부 격막판의 용접 접합부는 일부 부분이 제작공정상 부득이 부분용접의 접합형태를 갖기 때문에 판재나 완전 접된 부분에 비해 강도가 약해 충돌사고시 취약부위가 파단된다. 이러한 케이스 용접부의 파단은 충격완충체의 변형특성을 변화시켜 충격흡수거동이 달라지는 원인이 된다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 용접 접합부의 강도특성을 수송용기의 자유낙하 충돌해석에 적용할 수 있는 해석모델을 구성하고 부분용접된 접합부의 파단강도가 수송용기의 충돌거동에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 현재 시행착오적으로 이루어지고 있는 제품구조설계 및 포장설계 방법을 보다 합리적이고 효율적으로 개선해 보고자 하였다. 현재 설계 방법에서는 제품과 포장재 설계가 동 시에 진행되며 EVT 단계에서 낙하시험을 하여 문제점 발생시 보완, 수정하는 방법에 의하고 있다. 따라서 설계수정 기간이 길어지면 금형수정에 소요되는 비용도 상당히 많을 뿐 아니라, 경험적으로 포장재 설계를 하므로 최적의 포장을 하기는 더욱 어려운 상황이다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 본 해석에서는 TV에 대하여 충격시험에 대체하는 시뮬레이션 방법을 정형화 하였고, 한계 충격치 산출 및 포장재 자동설계 방법을 개발하였다.

  • When impacts by falling objects are applied to the structures, vertical resisting member(column or column group) results in progressive collapse. By knowing clearly load-deformation relationship of a structural frame, to prevent progressive collapse by absorbing potential energy of falling objects though column groups are lost by the impact of falling object accidently. If residual strength in vertical direction exceeds vertical load, which the sum of the weight of falling objects and usual supportive vertical load as the result of absorbing released location energy, it does not result in progressive collapse. On the other hand, in case when weight of falling objects is included in usual supportive vertical load. In this paper, 1-story 4-spans model is analyzed by non-linear FEM and to examine the level of deterioration, limit analysis of 1-story 4-spans plane frame was carried out.

  • Due to the application of Integrated Head Assembly (IHA) in KSNP+ reactor design, an investigation of reactor internals integrity is carried out to assure that the adoption of IHA does not affect the safety of reactor operation. One of the postulated accident events is the R.V. closure head fall from 5.5m high directly above the reactor vessel that may occur during the refueling operation. The analysis model consists of lumped mass elements of the entire reactor vessel and internals. Because of extreme load, separate elastic-plastic analyses are done for the members that undergo plastic deformation. The analysis verified that the stresses of the reactor internals and the fuel assemblies are within the bound of allowable stress limits and the integrity of the fuel assemblies is maintained.

Effects of Cavitation and Drop Characteristics on Oleo-Pneumatic Type Landing Gear Systems (공동현상을 고려한 유공압 방식 착륙장치의 낙하특성에 관한 연구)

  • This paper investigated the drop characteristics of oleo pneumatic type landing gear for small aircraft and the effects of cavitations in modeling the landing gear system. The landing gear system employed a simple oleo pneumatic type damper without a metering pin. In general, oleo-pneumatic type landing gears are light-weighted because of it's simplicity, yet they offer excellent impact absorption characteristics. In this study, the landing gear system was modeled using MSC ADAMS, which offers a drop simulation module. After modeling the system, a series of testing was conducted, using a prototype landing gear system, to validate the analysis model and simulation results. The effect of cavitation was considered in the simulation model to obtain a better correlation between the test and simulation results. The results show that adding the cavitation effect in the simulation model significantly improved the simulation model and better captured the dynamic behaviors of the landing system. Using the 'cavitation' model, dynamics characteristics of the landing gear were further evaluated for other landing conditions, such as landing in various angles of slopes.

  • 항공기용 착륙장치의 완충기 충격흡수 성능은 해석 과정을 거쳐 예측한 값과 낙하시험을 수행하여 그 성능을 입증하여야 한다. 이는 미 연방 항공 규정에서 요구하고 있는 사항이다. 본 논문에서는 착륙장치 낙하시험을 위한 설비, 시험절차 및 시험방법과 낙하시험 수행 결과를 제시한다.
