The Contribution of Place Marketing to Regional Development -A Case Study on Koyang, Kyongki-Do- (장소 마케팅을 통한 지역 활성화에 관한 연구 -고양시를 사례로-)

  • 세계화는 각 도시들이 살아남기 위해 경쟁하지 않으면 안되도록 하였고, 이러한 담론 속에서 장소는 정말로 '상품화'되고, '소비'되며, '광고'될 뿐만 아니라 '판매'되는 대상으로 간주되었다. 새로운 도시성장전략으로서의 장소 마케팅이란 공공·민간 주체들이 기업가와 관광객 심지어 그 장소의 주민들에게 매력적인 곳이 되도록 하기 위해 주로 문화적인 전략을 통해서 지역의 이미지를 제고시키고 지역의 경제 활성화를 꾀하는 다양한 방식의 노력들이라고 할 수 있다. 고양시는 지역에 특화된 화훼산업을 기반으로 한 꽃 전시회라는 지역의 작은 행사를 '고양 세계 꽃 박람회'라는 장소 마케팅으로 발전시켰다. 이것은 지역 이미지 제고, 지역정체성과 시민단합에 매우 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 지역경제 활성화의 측면에서는 화훼업의 특성상 국내의 전반적인 경기침체와 같은 이상 변수로 직접적인 효과는 뚜렷이 나타나지 않았으나 장기적인 관점에서 경제적 효과가 커질 것으로 예상된다. 고양시의 사례 연구는 서구에서 발전한 장소 마케팅이 우리 나라에서도 적용될 수 있는 가능성을 보여주었다.

A Study on Product Image Analysis and Design Expression Using Flowers (꽃을 소재로 한 상품이미지분석과 디자인 표현에 관한 연구)

  • Flowers are one of the most natural expressions of human expression. Recently, these flowers have been applied to various kinds of products to enhance their aesthetic value and to use them as artistic materials expressing their vitality. The purpose of this study is to investigate the formative characteristics of flowers that are visually beautiful and to express them visually through the fusion of various products used in daily life. Based on this research, we study the importance of emotional design that gives satisfaction to consumers and new design expression techniques. In addition, we pursue the aesthetic value of the product with naturalness and original design sense, and develop sensibility product design expressing design sensitivity by combining floral motif with various products based on expression of decoration using image of flower. I would like to suggest the possibility of development of sensible product design.

  • 본 논문에서는 자동으로 꼴을 인식하는 시스템을 제안한다. 기존 연구에서 제안한 방식은 대부분 사용자가 직접 꽃의 윤곽선을 조정하는 방식을 사용하였다. 이러한 방법은 사용자 편의성 측면에서 비효율적이므로 본 연구에서 제안하는 시스템은 사용자와의 상호작용 없이 영상처리만을 이용하여 꽃을 인식할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다. 서버-클라이언트 형태로 구성된 꽃 인식 시스템은 사용자가 전송한 영상의 컬러와 경계선 정보를 기반으로 영상 내에서 꽃의 영역을 찾는다. 꽃의 영역에서 색상과 윤곽선 정보를 추출한 뒤, k-means 클러스터링과 히스토그램 매칭을 통하여 서버에 저장된 기준 이미지와 가장 일치하는 꽃을 탐색하여 사용자에게 알려준다. 100종류의 꽃에 대하여 한 종당 각각 5 가지의 영상을 가지고 실험을 한 결과, 90.8%의 인식률을 얻을 수 있었다.

Flower Recognition System Using OpenCV on Android Platform (OpenCV를 이용한 안드로이드 플랫폼 기반 꽃 인식 시스템)

  • New mobile phones with high tech-camera and a large size memory have been recently launched and people upload pictures of beautiful scenes or unknown flowers in SNS. This paper develops a flower recognition system that can get information on flowers in the place where mobile communication is not even available. It consists of a registration part for reference flowers and a recognition part based on OpenCV for Android platform. A new color classification method using RGB color channel and K-means clustering is proposed to reduce the recognition processing time. And ORB for feature extraction and Brute-Force Hamming algorithm for matching are used. We use 12 kinds of flowers with four color groups, and 60 images are applied for reference DB design and 60 images for test. Simulation results show that the success rate is 83.3% and the average recognition time is 2.58 s on Huawei ALEUL00 and the proposed system is suitable for a mobile phone without a network.

Korean Women's Preferences and Emotional Images Associated Fashion Design with Flower Printings (꽃문양이 표현된 패션스타일에 대한 한국 여성의 선호도와 감성이미지)

  • Flower images are used as a design motif in various fields. Flower printings in clothes, in particular, usually represent nature. This study sets out to identify the characteristics of different fashion styles with flower printings, as well as the preferences and emotional images of Korean women in their 20s. The flower printings used in fashion design were classified into 5 types of styles: Modern, Natural Romantic, Maximalism, Neo-Hippie, and Ethnic style. Literature review and survey were conducted to identify the emotional images associated with the flower printings, as well as women's preferences. Through literature review, this study noted the formative elements of flower printings and their characteristics, as expressed in fashion designs. Then, the different styles were classified in order to provide theoretical foundation for the survey. The results of the study were significant in that they contributed to the definition and academic systemization of the characteristics of fashion styles with flower printings. Moreover, the study opened up possibilities for utilizing flowers to express a greater variety of meanings and influences in fashion. The findings can be used to enable fashion styles and emotional influences to be expressed through designs using natural motifs besides flowers.

A Study on Drift Phenomenon of Trained ML (학습된 머신러닝의 표류 현상에 관한 고찰)

  • In the learned machine learning, the performance of machine learning degrades at the same time as drift occurs in terms of learning models and learning data over time. As a solution to this problem, I would like to propose the concept and evaluation method of ML drift to determine the re-learning period of machine learning. An XAI test and an XAI test of an apple image were performed according to strawberry and clarity. In the case of strawberries, the change in the XAI analysis of ML models according to the clarity value was insignificant, and in the case of XAI of apple image, apples normally classified objects and heat map areas, but in the case of apple flowers and buds, the results were insignificant compared to strawberries and apples. This is expected to be caused by the lack of learning images of apple flowers and buds, and more apple flowers and buds will be studied and tested in the future.

  • 본 연구는 간호사복의 색상 및 문양에 따른 이미지를 분석하고, 색상과 문양이 조합을 이루었을 때 어떤 이미지로 통합되는지를 규명하고, 피험자에 따라 이미지지각의 차이를 알아보는데 목적이 있었다. 연구방법으로는 준실험 연구방법으로 피험자간 설계를 하였으며, 피험자는 대전, 충남지역의 대학생을 대상으로 시행하여 통계에 적합한 739부를 사용하였다. 연구에 사용된 자극물은 간호사복 catalog에서 선택한 모델에게, 색상(흰색, 분홍색, 하늘색, 녹색, 베이지색)과 문양(무지, 줄, 꽃)을 조합한 총 13개의 자극물을CAD simulation으로 제작했다. Plant Information Search on a Mobile Platform (모바일 플랫폼에서의 식물 정보 검색)

  • 본 논문에서는 모바일 환경에서의 수생 식물 정보 검색 시스템을 구현하였다. 검색 시스템은 크게 스케치를 통한 잎 모양 검색, 식물 서식지의 GPS 정보를 이용한 검색, 모양 예제를 통한 검색으로 나누어 구현하였다. 우선, 스케치를 통한 잎 모양 검색은 사용자로부터의 스케치 입력, 해당 이미지의 표현, 데이터베이스에 저장된 이미지와의 매칭, 추출의 네 단계로 이루어진다. GPS 정보를 이용한 검색은 식물의 서식지의 지리정보를 바탕으로 검색을 하며, 모양 예제를 통한 검색은 꽃모양, 잎모양 등에 대한 대표적인 샘플 이미지를 정의하여 사용자의 선택에 의해 검색을 하도록 하였다. 실험을 통해서 사용자의 성향, 질의 이미지의 복잡도, 실험 이미지의 셀 사이즈에 따른 다양한 실험 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

Flower Image Analysis for Specialization of Floral Decoration (꽃장식의 전문화를 위한 꽃 이미지 분석)

  • The study was conducted in order to systematize specialization of flower decoration. The results of this study are summarized as follows. The research of image adjectives were analyzed into a total of 4 factors, which are texture, color, period, decoration. With regard to texture, the flower with the highest texture of 2.00 was white Zantedeschia aethiopica and that with the lowest texture of -1.90 was Leucospermum cordifolium. In regard of color, the flower with the highest color of 1.70 was Rosa 'Judy' and that with the lowest color of -2.40 was Gypsophila. With regard to period, the flower with the highest period of 2.00 was Gomphrena globosa and that of the lowest of -3.00 was Leucospermum cordifolium. In decoration, the flower with the highest decoration of 2.50 was Agapanthus 'Intermedia' and that with the lowest decoration of -2.00 was Heliconia bihai 'Lobster'. As for correlation among the factors, color and period were in a correlation with each other. It shows that color and period are the most important factors in flower decoration. In result of conjoint analysis, importance was high in order of color, texture, decoration and period. This suggests that consumers overemphasize color and texture in flower decoration and may fail to notice the importance of period.

A New Euphorbia Cultivar 'Panorama' with Green and Pink Colored Bract (녹색과 분홍색의 포를 가진 다육식물 꽃기린 신품종 '파노라마' 육성)

  • A new cultivar of Euphorbia milii, 'Panorama' was developed at Cactus Research Institute, Gyeonggi-do Agricultural Research & Extension Services in 2009. 'Gabi' and 'Maxi' were crossed in 2001 and three $F_1$ seedlings were obtained. Pedigree selection was performed in 2002. One line was finally selected and named as 'Panorama' through the test of specific character from 2007 to 2009. The new cultivar 'Panorama' has green and pink colored bract, and it has 2~3 each of inflorescence number, 2.0 cm of bract width, 4.3 each of lateral shoot and 14.9 cm of plant height. Characters of the cultivar can be maintained by vegetative propagation.
