Advanced glycation end products (AGEs) have been implicated in the development of diabetic complications. The AGEs inhibitors or cross-link breakers attenuate various functional and structural manifestations of diabetic complications. In this study, 64 herbal medicines from China and Vietnam have been investigated with an in vitro evaluation system using AGEs inhibitory activity. Of these, eight herbal medicines ($IC_{50}$<50 ${\mu}g$/ml) were found to have strong AGEs inhibitory activity compared with aminoguanidine (14 days, $IC_{50}$=75.98 ${\mu}g$/ml; 28 days, $IC_{50}$=88.27 ${\mu}g$/ml). Particularly, four herbal medicines, Buddleja officinalis (whole plant), Syzygium cuminii (leaf), Eugenia caryophyllate (seed), and Paeonia suffruticosa (root) showed more potent inhibitory activity (approximately 5-6 fold) than the positive control aminoguanidine.

Objectives : The objective of study is to investigate the relationship between the satisfaction of dental service, value quality, and reuse intention among dental implant patients. Methods : A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 316 dental implant patients in 4 dental clinics in Daejeon from December, 2013 to March, 2014. Results : The average of dental service satisfaction was 4.14(SD=.562). The average of value satisfaction was 3.88(SD=.648), and that of reuse intention was 3.98(SD=.662). The tangibility was defined as the influence of the quality of medical service on the value satisfaction(t=4.042, p<0.001) and the confidence(t=2.997, p<0.01). The influence of the service value on the intention to reuse was 0.486(t=10.796, p<.001) of path coefficient. Conclusions : The quality of medical service is decided by the value satisfaction and the intention to reuse including the value satisfaction.

This study compared tooth's remineralization using enamel surface artificially demineralized with 0.1M lactate and HCL solution using Vicker's Hardness Number(VHN) to compare CPP-ACP and remineralization of nano-sized Carbonate Apatite's initial caries. Using pH circulation models divided into 0% nano-CA, 5% nano-CA, 10% nano-CA, 10% CPP-ACP and D.W. they were treated for 5 minutes, three times a day for 14 days to get the following results. 1. There were no significant differences among the initial surface hardness of samples demineralized surface of front tooth in 5 groups. and all 5 groups' surface hardness reduced significantly after demineralization of enamel. 2. When inquiring into hardness changes through pH circulation model, the highest hardness change was in 5% nano-CA group. Also. 10% nano-CA and 10% CPP-ACP groups increased significantly. but there was no significant difference statistically. In generalizing the above experiment results, nano-sized Carbonate Apatite showed remineralization, and compared to 10% CPP-ACP group, 5% nano-CA had remineralization to artificial caries. thus implies that when we develop method to contact with tooth of nano-CA in the future, it is expected to gain synergy effect on function of saliva, a natural remineralization material.

The emulsion stabilizing properties of soy protein isolate (SPI) were investigated in terms of the protein and oil concentration. Particularly, the dependence of emulsion stability on the oil particle size and viscosity of emulsion was studied in conjunction with the adsorption pattern of protein onto the water/oil interface during emulsification. The data showed that increasing protein concentration decreased the oil particle size and increased the emulsion viscosity, resulting in the enhanced emulsion stability. In contrast, increasing oil concentration increased both the oil praticle size and the emulsion viscosity, and thus emulsion stability varied depending on which factor predominated the overall emulsion system.

To evaluate the natural decay durability of valuable domestic softwoods which are used for preservative treatment in our country, we carried out decay test by European standard method. Of all test wood species, Japanese larch (Larix leptolepis) showed slightly high natural decay durability compared to other 4 wood species, Japanese red pine (Pinus densiflora), pitch pine (Pinus rigida), Japanese cedar (Cryptomeria japonica), and scots pine (Pinus sylvestris). However, all of evaluated domestic softwood species in this study caused high weight losses over about 30% in heartwood by test fungus, Poria placenta. We can hardly expect a good natural decay durability from these softwood species. According to the classification of the natural durability of European standard (EN 350-1), they are classified into "Not durable" or "Slightly durable". Therefore, if using these softwoods as exterior materials, we must do preservative treatment to ensure durability.

The purpose of this study is to investigate level of participation and satisfaction on leisure by the types of money attitudes in adults consumer, and to offer useful informations for improvement of leisure life. The data used in this study were collected from 449 adult consumers in Busan. The results of this study are as followings: 1. The attitude factors of adult consumers toward money are divided into six factors. And according to the factor points, five clusters are obtained. 2. Demographic variables which influenced on the types of money attitudes were the size of a family, the household monthly income, and the educational background. 3. The differences of level of participation on leisure according to the types of money attitudes were significant to participation level, participation time, participation cost and participation satisfaction in leisure. 4. The differences of satisfaction on leisure according to the types of money attitudes were significant to the monthly leisure expenditure. 5. The influencing variables of satisfaction on leisure according to the types of money attitudes showed differences by the various cluster types.

본 연구는 4주간의 종합선택실습이 간호대학생의 임상수행 능력 변화에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위한 것으로 4주간의 종합선택실습을 이수한 4학년 간호 대학생 128을 대상으로 하였고 임상실무수행능력 평가도구를 이용하여 실무능력변화를 측정하였다. 연구 결과 종합선택실습 전의 임상실무능력이 70.4점에서 실습 후에는 124.8점으로 증가(p<.001)되었고 직접간호활동과 간접간호활동의 모든 하위 영역에서 실습 후의 임상실무수행능력이 유의하게 증가되었다. 또한 상위 성적 30% 학생의 종합선택실습 후의 임상실무수행능력이 중간 40%의 학생에 비해 더 유의하게 증가한 것으로 나타났다(p=.047).

D. J. Haraway's cyber-feminism and Kim Seon Hee's eco-feminism are so different in the perspective of the modern scientific technology. While cyber-feminism thinks the outcome of the modern scientific technology positively, eco-feminism criticizes the totalitarianism and the human negation which the modern scientific technology gives rise to. Cyber-feminism gives us an image of the future female, but exposes an easygoing way of thinking of the modern scientific technology. On the other hand eco-feminism takes notice of the risk, that the modern scientific technology can be abused by the power of the minority, but fails in overcoming of the traditional view of female.

The personality in Marx's philosophy can be defined as an 'activity on the basis of social relations'. This concept suggests two significant implications to the difference of sexual identity between the sexes. First, according to Marx's philosophy the personality is partially influenced by the ideology. Freud's theory of Oedipus is founded on the patriarchal culture including the ideology. Freud's concept of personality ignores that aspect. That's why Freud's theory of Oedipus complex can be criticized. This is because of his ignorance of the affecting power of male chauvinism in patriarchal society. Second, more importantly and definitely, the difference of activity, especially labor, that is, male's social labor and female's private labor, has influenced the difference of the personality of both sexes.

Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the job-related health problems of school teachers in Seoul area and investigate their disease management behavior. Methods: This study used the on-line survey to investigate frequent health problems and management behavior of teachers. And job-related diseases were identified using date from the National Health Insurance Corporation. Collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test and ANOVA. Results: The frequent health problems of teachers were varicose veins, vocal cord disease and thyroid disease. And Job-related health diseases were varicose veins and vocal cord disease. These problems increased with career. 57.4% and 28.4% teachers in varicose veins and vocal cord disease did not do any management behavior to prevent or cure the disease. 56.8% teachers did not know how to prevent the diseases and 16.3% teachers did not practice even though they know the methods of prevention. Conclusion: Teacher's health examination should include varicose veins and vocal cord disease examination. And schools should try to offer various programs for preventing job-related health problems.
