Recently fuel cell is considered to be a new technology that can substitute the ICE(Internal Combustion Engine) as well as overcome environmental issues. In military applications, fuel cell has an unique advantages, which are quietness, namely, stealth. The environmental requirement such as shock and vibration in military application, however, is very severe comparing to civilian demand. Especially, the safety concerning hydrogen storage is the most important problem. Among the candidate methods to store hydrogen, the metal hydride storage is promising method owing to the storage mechanism of chemical absorption of hydrogen to metal hydrides. In this study, the new composition of Ti-Zr type metal hydride(A composition) was suggested and investigated to increase the hydrogen storage capacity. For comparison, the hydrogen charge-discharge properties were investigated with the commercialized Ti-Zr type metal hydride(B composition) using PCT(Pressure-Composition-Temperature) measurement. Also two hydrogen storage cylinders were loaded with each metal hydride and their hydrogen charging and discharging characteristics were investigated. As a result, it was found that the new Ti-Zr type metal hydride has a slightly higher hydrogen storage capacity compared to commercial Ti-Zr type metal hydride.

Thermal batteries have excellent mechanical robustness, reliability, and long shelf life. Due to these characteristics as well as their unique activation mechanism, thermal batteries are widely adopted as military power sources. Li(Si)/$FeS_2$ thermal batteries, which are used mostly in these days, use LiCl-KCl and LiBr-LiCl-LiF as molten salt electrolyte. However, it is known that Li(Si)/$FeS_2$ thermal batteries have high internal resistance. Especially, $FeS_2$ cathode accounts for the greater part of internal resistance in unit cell. Many efforts have been put into to decrease the internal resistance of thermal batteries, which result in the development of new electrode material and new electrode manufacturing processes. But the applications of these new materials and processes are in some cases very expensive and need complicated additional processes. In this study, internal resistance study was conducted by adding carbon black and carbon nano-tube, which has high electron conductivity, into the $FeS_2$ cathode. As a results, it was found that the decrease of internal resistance of $FeS_2$ cathode by the addition of carbon black and carbon nano-tube.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to provide substantial foundation to establish effective sex education plan for university students, and to inquire into sexual knowledge, consciousness and values of university students and into whether there are difference between health related major subjects and non-health related major subjects. Methods: This study was conducted on students in 227 health related major subjects and 226 non-health related major subjects in chungbuk C city. The Questionnaire, used in this study, was re-made on basis of reviews and previous studies, and total of 453 questionnaires were used. Results: Sexual knowledge scores were not significantly difference between health related major subjects and non-health related major subjects. but health related major subjects were more educated contraception, pregnancy artificial abortion, sexually transmitted disease than non-health related major subjects. Sexual knowledge was correlated with attitude in sex, times of sex education and usefulness of sex education. Conclusion: The university authorities make a curriculum for systematic sex educations and need to assertive support students and they can have right sexual consciousness and have mature and responsible attitude to sex through right education of knowledge in sex.

Objectives: This study was conducted to analyze the stress level of teachers and their management measures, the school environments affecting on the characteristics of teachers and how the health status of school teachers have effect on the stress level of school teachers in our nation. Methods: The study conducted to 900 high school teachers in Seoul, Busan, Incheon, Kwangju and Daejeon. The investigation was carried out for 5 months from March 10 to July 10, 2007. Results: The stress level of test subjects was $15.55{\pm}3.14$ in 30 point scale (51.8 in 100 point scale). The overall level scored 3.71 in 8 point scale (46.4 in 100 point scale), and the average of stress management methods was 15.51 in 36 point scale (55.8 in 100 point scale). Therefore, stress management methods should be developed to solve stress and to reduce the causes of stress variables of high school teachers to teach students healthily in good health status without stress, which can allow us to have healthy families and society though the ripple effects. In addition, the related governments, organizations, related experts and teachers should take effort by paying more attention to increase the life quality of teachers to enjoy healthy life.

A identification algorithm that finds optimal fuzzy membership functions and rule base to fuzzy model isproposed and a fuzzy controller is designed to get more accurate position and velocity control of wheeled mobile robot. This procedure that is composed of three steps has its own unique process at each step. The elements of output term set are increased at first step and then the rule base is varied according to increase of the elements. The adjusted system is in competition with system which doesn't include any increased elements. The adjusted system will be removed if the system lost. Otherwise, the control system is replaced with the adjusted system. After finished regulation of output term set and rule base, searching for input membership functions is processed with constraints and fine tuning of output membership functions is done.

The ultimate goal of national health promotion services is the improvement of quality of life and health longevity through the implementation of health promotion services. The approach strategy for national health promotion summariged as follows: 1) A model for health promotion should be developed by the level of government. 2) Roles and functions between central government and autonomous local governments should be defined to carry out the health promotion services effectively. 3) New manpower for health promotion such as health educator should be trained and activated at hospitals, health centers, industries, school, and related community agencies. 4) School health education should be strengthened in order to teach: various health subject(smoking & alcohol, drug abuse, accident and safe, nutrition, environmental pollution and preservation, population & family planning, personnel hygiene, physical growth, stress, sex education, communicable disease, physical exercise etc) students through appointing health teachers at school base. 5) Health promotion services in industries should be activated using manpower such as health educator, exercise instructor, dietist and counsellor, 6) Health promotion services for the elderly should be activated. 7) Health screening services in the medical insurance and his/her family should be activated for health promotion services. 8) Health education material development center for health promotion should be established and the materials should be made to distribute to related groups, agencies and institutions (health conte.5, hospitals, schools, pharmacies, industries etc). 9) The pilot health promotion center in each automous local governments(large cities, provinces, Guns and Gu level) should be established and operated for community people. 10) The mass media such as TV, radio, newspapers and magazines should be used effectively. 11) Periodic evaluation of health promotion services should be carried out in order to help effective and successful planning for community health promotion in the future.

We had studied about the therapy of pinggan with apoplexy and the rusult were obtaind as follows. 1. The therapy of Pinggan is based on Treatise on Exogenous Febrile Diseases(傷寒論)'s ShaoyaoGancaoTang(芍藥甘草湯) on the ground of The Yellow Emperor's Internal Classic(黃帝內經). 2. Ye Tianshi(葉天士) theorized about the therapy of Pinggan. It was that the internal wind theory combind the theory of that liver and kidney having the same origin. He said that 'Through mild the liver, we calm down the liver to stop the wind, and nourish the kidney and then removed heat'. 3. The prodomal stage was treated by prescription of Ziyin-Huoxue-Xifeng(滋陰活血熄風方), WendanTang(溫膽湯), TianmaGoutongYin(天麻鉤藤飮) and ZhenganXifengTang(鎭肝熄風湯). and The therapy has been used to the symptoms of deficiendy of liver-yin and kidney-yin and psycotic symptoms In convalescence. The prescription of ZhenganXifengTang(鎭肝熄風湯), TianmaGoutongYin(天麻鉤藤飮), and DighuangYinzi(地黃飮子) waked well. 4. Internal cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral infarction, movement disorder and senile dementia were treated by the therapy of pinggan, for the action of hypotensor, lipolysis, ataralgesia, defervesence. 5. The medicines of Pinggan-Xifeng like Gastrodiae Rhizoma, Uncariae Ramulus Et Uncus, Scorpio, Bornbyx Batryticatus, Scolopendra, Saigae Tataricae Cornu, and Pinggan-qianyang like Haernatitum, Ostreae Concha, Margaritifera Usta Concha, Eretmochelyos Carapax, Tribuli Fructus were usually used.

Thermal batteries are primary reserve power sources, which are activated upon the melting of eutectic electrolytes by the ignition of heat sources. Therefore, sufficient thermal insulation is absolutely needed for the stable operation of thermal batteries. Currently, excessive amount of heat sources is being used to compensate the heat loss in the cell stack along with the insertion of metal plates and thermal insulators to reserve heat at the both ends of cell stack. However, there is a possibility that the excessive heat flows into the cell stack, causing a thermal runaway at the early stage of discharge. At the same time, the internal temperature of thermal batteries cannot be maintained above the battery operating temperature at the later stage of discharge because of the insufficient insulation. Therefore, the effects of Phase Changing Material(PCM) plates were demonstrated in this study, which can replace the metal and insulating plates, to improve the thermal insulation performance and safety of thermal batteries.

Soft-tissue expansion is a new surgical technique of providing donor tissue in modern reconstructive surgery. This technique provides a quantity of tissue of similar color, texture, and hair-bearing qualities for reconstruction of adjacent defects. It is known that the expanded skin shows several constant histologic changes including the increase in collagen fibers and vascularity within dermis, and thinning of subcutaneous tissue and dermis. In this study, the author observed serial histologic changes of rabbit skin induced by progressive tissue expansion upto excessive expansion of 6 times. The results are as follows : 1. Changes in the thickness of the epidermis was minimal until 3 times of expansion, but slight thinning was observed at excessive expansion state. 2. The thickness of the dermis was progressively decreased, and collagen fibers in the dermis was rapidly increased in early phase of expansion. 3. The vascularity in the dermis was also progressively increased. 4. The skin appendages showed no structural changes even in excessive expansion. 5. The panniculus carnosus showed no atrophic changes and the thickness was maintained in excessive expansion.

Extrapyramidal movement disorders are divided descriptively into hypokinesias(such as parkinsonism), characterized by poverty and slowness of movement : hyperkinesias(such as chorea, athetosis, dystonia, ballism, etc.), manifested by abnormal involuntary movement. Chorea refers to widespread arrythythmic movements of a forcible, rapid, jerky, restless type Choreic movements are noted for their irregularity and variability. They are generally continuous, may be simple or quite elaborate, and affect any part of the body. Dystonla refers to abnormally increased muscular tone that causes fixed abnormal postures. Some patients with dystonia also have shifting postures, resulting from irregular, forceful twisting movement that affect trunk and produce bizarre, grotesque movements and positions of the body. The most frequent and familiar type of focal dystonia is spasmodic torticollis. It consists of an involuntary turning of the head to one side - intermittent at first, then gradually worsening to the point of being more or loss continuous. The combination of blepharospasm and oromandibular dystonia is sometimes refered to as Meige's syndrome. We report two patients with dystonia and chorea in cerebral infarction at basal ganglia. We have experienced good improvement by the oriental medicine and acupuncture treatment.'rho acupuncture points of LI 4, ST 36, TE 3, GB 34, GB 41, LR 3, GB 39 were used. The therapies of herb-medicine were treated by Zibu-Ganshen(滋補肝腎), Huoxue-Xifeng-Tongluo(活血息風通絡).
