  • EU has pursued of the economic growth and the promotion of jobs by a free movement of workers. The free labour mobility brings a sustainable economic development through the creating jobs and the acquisition of a new knowledge and technology, but it also produces the geographical unequality of the movement of workers. And the enlargement of the EU redistributes geographically the flow of labour mobility. The flow of labour movement within EU changes to the structure of mobility that moves from the North to the North instead of the movement from the South to the North as an economic development in the South and an economic transformation to the service and hightech industry in the North. The mobility of unskilled workers has diminished, but the mobility of expert workers has increased. The flow of labour movement within EU has a structure hierarchic that the experts labour move from the North to the North, and the unskilled labour move from the South to the North and from the northern Africa to the South of Europe.

  • Seeing the elapsed time as a quantity that can be measured is quite challenging for students while making students see it is also challenging for teachers. Tuning on these challenges, this article reports on what learning opportunities elementary teachers provide when they teach elapsed time focusing on quantitative objectification. I observed three mathematics classrooms where the elapsed time was taught by three elementary teachers and did a narrative analysis on the instructions. All three teachers utilized certain tools to support students access to the elapsed time as a quantity. They appropriated various quantitative attributes of the tool. In the case of the analog clock, one teacher tried to quantification the elapsed time with the number of minute hand's turning, while the other teacher indicated the distance of minute hand's moving. One teacher represented the elapsed time with the longitudinal attribute of the time band. Standing on the findings, the didactical implications of various attempts for quantitative objectification of the elapsed time implemented were discussed.

  • Wireless multimedia service through the access to mobile telephone network or data network is a vital part of contemporary life, and the demand for frequency spectrum for new services is expected to explode as the ubiquitous computing proliferate. Cognitive radio is a technology, which automatically recognizes and searches for temporally and spatially unused frequency spectrum, then actively determines the communication method, bandwidth, etc. according to the environment, thus utilizing the limited spectrum resources efficiently. In this paper, we investigate the effects of imperfect sensing, misdetection and false alarm, on the primary and secondary users' spectrum usage through the analysis of continuous time Markov Chain. We analyzed the effects of the parameters such as sensing error, offered load on the system performance.

  • In this paper, proposed method achieves delay reduction and throughput improvement by utilizing token-ring method in infrastructure network. Access Point gives token passing effect by successively transmitting ACK frame including a node's Association ID. Not only can this method considerably reduce time for medium access, but also improve throughput. Furthermore, AP offers more frequent medium access opportunity to node having highest data queue among nodes associated by AP. these method can evenly offer medium access opportunity according to Queue's volumes.

  • In mathematical modeling activity modeling process is usually an iterative process. When model can not be solved, the model needs to be simplified by treating some variables as constants, or by ignoring some variables. On the other hand, when the results from the model are not precise enough, the model needs to be refined by considering additional conditions. In this study we investigate the role of spreadsheet model in model refinement and modeling process. In detail, we observed that by using spreadsheet model students can solve model which can not be solved in paper-pencil environment. And so they need not go back to model simplification process but continue model refinement. By transforming mathematical model to spreadsheet model, the students can predict or explain the real word situations directly without passing the mathematical conclusions step in modeling process.

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient MAC scheduling algorithm for supporting Bluetooth scatternet operations. Our proposed algorithm improves overall performances of scatter mode[2, 3] and considers QoS requirements of each link of the bridge node of a scatternet. Scatter mode is based on time division scheduling and provides every links of a scatternet with fair service opportunities. However, since each Bluetooth devices has various traffic characteristics. fair allocation of service opportunities is not efficient and may cause extravagance of wireless resources. Therefore, we propose a new efficient inter-piconet scheduling algorithm compliant with the current Bluetooth specification[1], and demonstrate its improved performances via computer simulations.

  • This study analyzed the lesson analysis reports and survey of pre-service teachers who have practiced the microteaching in order to identify the reflection of mathematics pre-service teachers. The professors who are teaching pre-service teachers need to propose the examples of an instructional model that can induce the opened reaction and the effective usage of time through interesting topics. In addition, pre-service teachers who have practiced the first microteaching have shown a lot of reflection more than expected. Therefore, to improve the quality of lectures, it is important for pre-service teachers to have experiences of microteaching and reflection.

  • Identification and selection the mathematically gifted child must be based on it's definition. So, we have to consider not only IQ or high ability in mathematical problem solving, but also mathematical creativity and mathematical task commitment. Furthermore, we must relate our ideas with the programs to develop each student's hidden potential. This study is focused on the discrimination of the candidates who would like to enter the elementary school level mathematics gifted education program. To fulfill this purpose, I considered the criteria, principles, methods, and tools. Identification is not exactly separate from selection and education. So, it is important to have long-term vision and plan to identify the mathematically gifted students.
