With the rapid growth of mobile services, the various charging methods for mobile data have emerged in the mobile service market. Among them, network operators have begun to provide the zero-rating without any extra charge for the data that use the specific mobile application & services. Zero-rating, the free mobile data services by the network operators provoked many platform operators to confront business opportunity and risk. Though the platform operators are in urgent need of the strategy planning that considers business environments, any research endeavors explaining zero-rating and platform does not exist. Moreover, the analyses of potential effects of zero-rating on the business acts of platform operators has not been performed. Therefore, the study aims to identify the potential business opportunity and risk to prepare the various strategic countermeasure in platform operators' shoes. The study might enable the researchers to properly understand zero-rating and platform, and be utilized as a reference in planning the business strategy of the platform operators.

This paper aims to investigate the characteristics of innovation activities and informal networks of venture companies in Daegu region. The most important knowledge source of them for innovation is in house. The next are customers, competitors, and public supporters. And it was investigated that regional venture companies have participated in 1-5 informal network organizations. They primarily achieve such knowledges as, technologies, new business opportunities, and marketing information, through participation in informal networks. The reasons why they have taken part in informal networks are to get new informations and acquire new business opportunities. Particularly The informal networks between ventures companies and other regional economic actors have helped the regional venture companies to obtain more economic performance and to establish social capital, such as faith, with other economic actors.

Understanding market convergence has became essential for small and mid-size enterprises. Identifying convergence items among heterogeneous markets could lead to product innovation and successful market introduction. Previous researches have two limitations. First, traditional researches focusing on patent databases are suitable for detecting technology convergence, however, they have failed to recognize market demands. Second, most researches concentrate on identifying the relationship between existing products or technology. This study presents a platform to identify the opportunity of market convergence by using product databases from a global B2B marketplace. We also attempt to identify convergence opportunity in different industries by applying Structural Hole theory. This paper shows the mechanisms for market convergence: attributes extraction of products and services using text mining and association analysis among attributes, and network analysis based on structural hole. In order to discover market demand, we analyzed 240,002 e-catalog from January 2013 to July 2016.

In this paper, we investigate physical layer security in a cooperative cognitive radio networks (CRN) with a relay selection in the presence of a primary user and an eavesdropper. To protect the CRN from wiretapping by the eavesdropper, we propose employing an opportunistic relay selection scheme and multiple antennas at the destination that work based on the availability of channel state information at the receivers. Under these configurations, we derive an exact closed-form expression for the secrecy outage probability of the CRN, and also derive an asymptotic probability. Numerical results will be presented to verify the analysis.

본 논문에서는 네트워크가 막연히 무작위적이라고 하기에는 사회나 세포, 인터넷 등이 어떤 법칙에 따라 짜연진 것처럼 보인다. 하지만 복잡한 네트워크의 모습이 네트워크의 모델과 실제로 똑같은지를 비교하기는 그리 쉬운 문제가 아니다. 무작위적 네트워크의 경우는 수학적으로 엄밀히 말하자면 쁘아송분포를 따른다. 쁘아송분포에서는 모든 점들이 동일한 확률로 여러 점들에 연결되는 기회를 갖는다. 즉 균일한 분포이다. 따라서 상당히 적거나 반대로 상당히 많은 수의 연결선을 가진 점은 극히 드물다. 이 경우 연결선 분포가 종 모양이 된다. 대부분의 점들이 곡선에 해당하는 연결선 수를 갖게 된다. 본 논문에서 쁘아송분포와 회귀분석을 통하여 하나 또는 둘 이상의 변수들 사이에 어떤 관계를 함수관계로 나타내어 분석하는 방법을 보이고 회귀분석 방법에 의해서 미래를 예측하고자 한다.

IEEE 802.11 has become the main technology in wireless network. However, performance anomalies, especially in terms of fairness, arise in its use in ad hoc networks. Two independent emitters nodes can easily monopolize the medium, preventing other nodes to send packets. This paper proposes the modified (m,k)-firm scheme which is based on T-MAC to improve fairness. The basic idea is to assign higher priorities to nodes that are closer to a dynamic failure so as to improve their chances of meeting their deadlines. The simulation result shows that the proposed scheduling scheme helps improve the fairness of the DCF.

Recently, the rapidly increased use of smartphone devices provides both opportunity and problems at the same time to the telecom companies in domestic and world wide. It provides a great opportunity to overcome the market stagnation of the existing voice- centric communications, and also problems of building a highly efficient new wireless access networks to accommodate huge volume of data traffic among smart devices. Facing with the age of keen competition, telecom companies have two kinds of strategies for network transition; a strategy of building uniform LTE -based 4G networks as fast as possible, and a hybrid network enhancement strategy compounding 3G and 4G networks using HSP A+, WiFi, cloud computing, etc. It is difficult to predict which strategy will have more successful outcome in the near future. This paper studies the trends and issues of network enhancement policies and transition strategies to the 4G network era, and tries to draw appropriate and efficient ways for network enhancement and operation.

본 논문에서는 무선 협력 네트워크(wireless cooperative network)의 전송 신뢰성과 공정성 향상을 위한 비례공정 중계(proportional-fair relaying) 기법을 제안한다. 다중 단말과 단일 기지국이 있는 다원 접속(multiple access) 환경에서 저속 페이딩(slow fading)에 의한 성능 열화를 저감하면서 단말간 자원 사용 공정성 보장하기 위해 비례공정 전송 기법과 중계 기법 결합한다. 이를 통해 기존 기회적(opportunistic) 전송 기법의 비대칭 채널(asymmetric channel)에서의 자원 사용 불공정성을 해결하면서 깊은 페이딩(deep fading)에 의한 데이터 무선 전송 손실을 최소화 한다. 컴퓨터 모의실험 결과를 통해 제안된 기법이 공정성 제한(fairness constraint)이 있는 다원 접속 환경에서 불능 확률(outage probability) 성능을 제고함을 보인다.

Data compression techniques are traditional and effective to reduce the network traffic. Generally, sensor data exhibit strong correlation in both space and time. Many algorithms have been proposed to utilize these characteristics. However, each sensor just utilizes neighboring information, since its communication range is restrained. The distribution and characteristics of whole sensor data provide other opportunities to enhance the compression technique. In this paper, we propose an orthogonal approach for compression algorithm. The base station or a super node generates useful information for compression of sensor data and broadcasts it into sensor networks. Every sensor that received the information compresses their sensor data and transmits them to the base station. We define this approach as feedback-diffusion. In order to show the superiority of our approach, we compare it with the existing aggregation algorithms in terms of the lifetime of the sensor network. As a result, our experimental results show that the whole network lifetime was prolonged by about 30%.

국내의 벤처기업들은 이미 알려진 틈새시장만 지향할 것이 아니고, 상세한 MBTA 또는 기술연구를 통해 Reassembled Affordable Technology를 활용한 새로운 틈새시장을 창출하려는 노력이 필요하며, 이 때에 다국적 기업의 통상적인 M&A와, Strategic Alliance 기회를 잘 활용하는 것이 필요하다. 이렇게 되면, 국내 벤처기업들이 대기업 의존형의 M&A제휴를 피할 수 있으며, 부가적으로 다국적 기업의 네트워크를 활용한 공동 Geographic Expansion도 가능해진다.
