A Study on Guidance Law Design and Simulation of Multiple UAV Formation Flying (다비행체 편대비행을 위한 유도법칙 및 시뮬레이션에 관한 연구)

  • A guidance scheme for controlling the relative geometry of multiple flight vehicle formation flying is proposed. Each flight vehicle in the formation takes the roles of leader and follower simultaneously except for the formation leader. In this scheme, the flight commands for a leader are shared by all the followers and this leaders to a synchronized flight of all flight vehicles comprising the formation. Lyapunov stability theorem is used to obtain the guidance law. High fidelity nonlinear simulation results are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed guidance law using a reconnaissance and surveillance mission example.

  • IKONOS satellite images are particularly well suited for stereo feature extraction. But, because IKONOS doesn't offer information about the satellite ephemeris and attitude, we have to use IKONOS RPC(Rational Polynomial Coefficients) data for 3-D feature extraction. In this study, it was intended to increase the accuracy and the efficiency in application of high resolution satellite images. Therefore, this study develop the program to extract 3-D feature information and have analyzed the geometric accuracy of the IKONOS satellite images by means of the change with the number, distribution and height of GCPs. This study will provide basic information for luther studies of the accuracy correction in IKONOS and high resolution satellite images.

Updating Digital Map using Images from Airborne Digital Camera (항공디지털카메라 영상을 이용한 수치지도 갱신)

  • As the availability of images from Airborne Digital Camera with high resolution is expanded, a lot of concern are in the production and update of digital map. This study presents the method of updating the digital map at the scale of 1/1,000 using images from Aerial Digital Camera. Geometric correction was completed using GPS surveying data. For digital mapping, digital photogrammetric system was utilized to digitize buildings and roads. The absolute positional accuracy was evaluated using GPS surveying data and the relative positional accuracy was evaluated using the digital map produced by analytical mapping. The absolute positional accuracy was as follows: RMSE in X and Y were ${\pm}0.172m\;and\;{\pm}0.127m$, and average distance error was 0.208m. The relative positional accuracy was as follows: RMSE in X and Y were ${\pm}0.238m\;and\;{\pm}0.281m$, and average distance error was 0.337m. Accuracies of updating digital map using images from airborne Digital Camera were within allowable error established by NGII. Consequently, images from airborne Digital Camera can be used in various fields including the production of the national basic map and the GIS of local government.

  • Reconstruction analysis of traffic accident is done by analyzing diverse data such as the road, accident traces and damage on the automobile. Most data can be a variable in the process of analysis, and measurement error of the data occurs from the investigator, tool and the given environment. Therefore, accident analysis always has some risks of measurement uncertainty. This research quantify the uncertainty in traffic accident analysis by conducting repetitive measurement experiments for variables with high probability of uncertainly such as length (i.e. geometric structure of the road, tire marks) and coefficient of friction. This paper also suggests an analysis result for the uncertainly of photographic observation of automobile crush measurement. These statistical distributions can help determine appropriate ranges for the input data in order to estimate the accident reconstruction uncertainty.

  • A LIDAR can rapidly generate 3D points by densely sampling the surfaces of targets using laser pulses, which has been efficiently utilized to reconstruct 3D models of the targets automatically. Due to this advantage, LIDARs are increasingly applied to the fields of Defense and Security, for examples, being employed to intelligently guided missiles and manned/unmanned reconnaissance planes. For the prior verification of the LIDAR applicability, this study aims at generating simulated LIDAR data. Here, we derived the sensor equation by modelling the geometric relationships between the LIDAR sub-modules, such as GPS, IMU, LS and the systematic errors associated with them. Based on this equation, we developed a program to generate simulated data with the system parameters, the systematic errors, the flight trajectories and attitudes, and the reference terrain model given. This program had been applied to generating simulated LIDAR data for urban areas. By analyzing these simulated data, we verified the accuracy and usefulness of the simulation. The simulator developed in this study will provide economically various test data required for the development of application algorithms and contribute to the optimal establishment of the flight and system parameters.

  • 국내의 비정형 건축물은 현재 도입기로, 동대문디자인파크, 전곡선사박물관, 부산국제영화센터 등이 건설 계획 되어지고 있지만 대부분이 실시설계 또는 착공단계에 머물고 있고, 아직까지 구체적인 시공단계에 이른 건축물이 없는 실정으로 비정형외장재의 이중곡률 (Non-Uniform Rational B-Spines)을 반영한 프로토타이핑(Prototyping), 패널화(Panelizing), 현장조립 시 기하학 통제기법, 시공오차 측정기법, As-Planned 도면과 As-Built 도면의 비교를 통한 준공도면의 작성기법 등에 대한 준비가 절실히 필요한 상황이다. 그러나 현재 비정형 건축물의 설계는 초기계획(Concept Design) 단계에서 건축가와 구조기술자의 협업 중요성만 강조되고 있고, 건축물이 비정형화됨에 따라 기하학적으로 설계 및 시공되어야 하는 건축물의 외장재에 대한 설계방법과 시공단계에서 시공품질 확보방안, 시공 하자를 유발시키는 다양한 변수에 대한 대응방안 등은 아직까지도 그 중요성을 인식하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 비정형 건축물의 설계에 사용되는 Architectural Geometry Control 도구 중 그 활용성이 부각되어 지고 있는 Bentley 사의 Generative Components를 활용하여 비정형 건축물의 이중곡률 곡면외장재의 부재생산을 위한 패널화, 제작도면 추출에 관한 연구를 수행하고자 한다.

  • It's a very meaningful experimental study to image restoration of ancient villages vanished at the real life spatial world. Focused on Cheung-Pyung Lake around where most part were flooded by the Chung-Ju large dam founded in early 1980s, we used remote sensing technique in this study in order to restore topographical features before the flood with 3 dimensional effects. It was gathered comparatively good satellite photos and remotely sensed digital images, then its made a new color image from these and the topographical map which had been made before filled water. This task was putting together two kinds of different timed images. And then, we generated DEM(digital elevation model) including the outskirts of that area as harmonizing current contour lines with the map. That could be a perfect 3D image of Cheung-Pyung around before when it had been flood by making perspective images from all directions, north, south, east and west, for showing there in three dimensions. Also, flying simulation we made for close visiting can bring us to experience their real space at that time.

VRS-based Precision Positioning using Civilian GPS Code Measurements (가상기준점 기반 코드신호를 이용한 정밀 측위)

  • With the increase in the number of smartphone users, precise 3D positional information is required by various applications. The positioning accuracy using civilian single-frequency pseudoranges is at the level of 10 m or so, but most applications these days are asking for a sub-meter level Therefore, instead of an absolute positioning technique, the VRS-based differential approach is applied along with the correction of the double-differenced (DD) residual errors using FKP (Flachen-Korrektur-Parameter). The VRS (Virual Reference Station) is located close to the rover, and the measurements are generated by correcting the geometrical distance to those of the master reference station. Since the unmodeled errors are generally proportional to the length of the baselines, the correction parameters are estimated by fitting a plane to the DD pseudorange errors of the CORS network. The DD positioning accuracy using 24 hours of C/A code measurements provides the RMS errors of 37 cm, 28 cm for latitudinal and longitudinal direction, respectively, and 76 cm for height. The accuracy of the horizontal components is within ${\pm}0.5m$ for about 90% of total epochs, and in particular the biases are significantly decreased to the level of 2-3 cm due to the network-based error modeling. Consequently, it is possible to consistently achieve a sub-meter level accuracy from the single-frequency pseudoranges using the VRS and double-differenced error modeling.

  • 본연구는 실물크기의 프리캐스트 콘크리트 판구조물의 부분구조체를 모형화하여 실험한 결과를 분석한 것이다. 구조물의 역학적 특성과 파괴성상을 파악하기 위한 구조실험은 실물크기의 구조물과 부재로써 실시하는 것이 가장 좋은 방법이지만, 이것은 치수가 크므로 공간적으로 제한을 받고 많은 시간과 비용을 필요로 하기 때문에 모형실험을 이용하게 된다. 이러한 모형실험을 최소한의 오차범위내에서 원형실험과 같은 재현하고 예측하도록 실험을 준비하는 데에는 상사법칙이 필요하게 된다. 모형은 무엇보다도 원형과의 응력-변형도 관계 등 구성재료에 대한 상사요구조건을 만족시키는 것이 중요하지만, 본 연구의 대상은 1/3축척으로써 기하학적인 요소와 사용재료에 대한 강도의 상사성만을 고려한 모형이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 모형구조물의 거동을 원형실험결과와 비교하여 상사성 확보의 문제와 가능성을 조사하였다.

Development of Shaft Straightening Machine with Springback Observer (스프링백 관측기를 이용한 축교정기 개발)

  • In order to compensate for out-of-straightness of shafts, an automatic straightening process composed of an automatic measuring module, an automatic control unit and operating softwares was developed with a hydraulic press. The out-of-sraightness of each shaft was measured automatically in the measuring stage. An optimal pressure point was determined to minimize TIR value of the shaft according to press count of 3-points bending process. In the geometric adaptive control procedure, punch stroke and springback of the shaft were predicted by an observer using on-line measured values of press force and deflection amount I each press count. An automatic straightening machine was realized with the measuring module, the GAC module, PLD, IBM-PC and the operating software on the hydraulic press. the validity of the proposed straightening process was confirmed through a series of experiments with cam shafts.
