Effects of the contingent liabilities caused by project financing on financial status of the Korean construction firms (프로젝트금융으로 인한 우발채무가 건설기업의 재무상태에 미치는 영향)

  • Project Financing (PF) is a financing method, executed based upon the projected profitability from a project itself instead of relying on the credit rating of project sponsors or any type of collateral. However, most financial institutions of Korea lacks the long term profitability assessment capability, and they prefer to acquire credit reinforcement from the construction companies in the form of the guarantor or debt argument commitments. As a result, PF contingent liabilities as an indirect debt, are burdened to the construction companies. Even though the PF contingent liabilities are not supposed to be part of the financial statements, they became a mandatory disclosure items since 2009. In this study, PF contingent liabilities were studied to indicate how they were correlated with construction firms' financial ratios. Construction firms were grouped by their credit rating and each group was compared in order to analyze PF contingent liabilities' impact on the financial condition of the company in terms of liquidity, liability, and stability.

Development of Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) Non-woven Separator Coated with ZrO2 Ceramic Nanoparticles for Improving Electrochemical Performance and Thermal Property of Lithium Ion Batteries (열 특성 및 전기화학 특성이 향상된 리튬이차전지용 ZrO2 코팅 PVA (Polyvinyl Alcohol) 복합 부직포 분리막 개발)

  • We develop a ceramic composite separator prepared by coating $ZrO_2$ nanoparticles with a poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) (PVdF-HFP) copolymer on a polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) mechanical support prepared by electrospinning technique to improve thermal properties. The gurley number of the ceramic composite separator shows much lower value than that of a PE separator even though it possesses the polymeric coating layer with ceramic nanoparticles. In addition, the proposed sample shows higher electrolyte uptake than PE separator, leading to enhancing the ionic conductivity of the proposed sample and, by extension, the rate discharge properties of lithium ion batteries. Thermal stability of the ceramic composite separator is dramatically improved without any degradation in electrochemical performance compared to the performance of conventional PE separators.

  • The "ShikLyoChanYo", written in 1460 by JunSoonYi (全循義), master court doctor in JoSeon (朝鮮) Dynasty, is the very first specialty publication of Korean dietary treatment existing today. Both Chinese and Korean scholars have assumed that this book had been lost long time ago. In November 2003, however, a Korean philologist found a version of the book, Yangyang (襄陽, a district name in Korea), and this book has attracted a lot of interest of Korean traditional medical science and agricultural science since then. This paper is to dissert the document of food therapy from the book with profound document study and statistical analysis in the fields of traditional Chinese medicine and traditional Korean medicine on dietetics. It completes the study of the application of all the dietetic treatments according to symptoms of diseases and all the plants and medication applied to cure chronic conditions that are clinically examined for the purpose of food therapy. A general survey on sundry records related to this food therapy of the "ShikLyoChanYo" has been done to make this dissertation and it carried out a statistic analysis of all the dietetic mixing technique of all plants and medication. Among other symptoms of illnesses from the book, there are 7 frequently addressed ailments chosen from the aspect of food therapy - a stroke, a disease diagnosed by thirst, a serious cough, an ache resulting from numbness, a disease relating to stomach, blurry vision and weak hearing, and a drinking related disease. This part is to discuss these illnesses and how to cure them with food based on its characteristics and rules of application.

A Study on the Methods for Ensuring the Transparency of the Privacy Policies in Android Environment: Based on General Data Protection Regulation (안드로이드 환경에서 개인정보 처리방침의 투명성 확보방안에 관한 연구: GDPR을 기반으로)

  • In this study, we analyzed the privacy policies of 50 Android applications that are on the top chart in EU members to present the methods for enhancing transparency based on GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). Based on the guidelines in relation to transparency stipulated in WP29, this study extracted factors of transparency in order to ensure transparency of privacy data processing and carried out the verification procedures for each factor. The results revealed that the privacy policies provided in Google Play Store and applications need to be matched, the descriptions of the privacy policies need to be written in clear and plain language for readers to understand easily. and that it is necessary to provide information quickly and improve the descriptions of information which the data controller discloses. The research findings of this study could be used as a preliminary data for proactive responses to the EU's GDPR by substantially complying with the transparency of GDPR.

Biomechanical Research on Forward Gait with Backward Mechanism (후진 보법을 이용한 전방향 보행의 생체역학적 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate possibility of a forward gait with backward mechanism(dance gait) as rehabilitation and/or walking exercise by means of biomechanical variables. Thirteen professional women dancers(age, $21.1{\pm}1.3yrs$; height, $159.3{\pm}7.2cm$; body mass, $45.1{\pm}8.4kg$)participated in this study. We found that speed, stride length and double limb support time of a dance gait were more greater than backward gait, but stride width of dance gait less than a backward gait. Maximum RoMs, moments and powers of the lower limb joints on a dance gait were more frequent than a backward dance. These results were judged to be sufficient by the possibility of dance gait as rehabilitation and walking exercise.

  • Author reviewed psychodynamics and psychoanalytic treatment of obesity. A variety of psychodynamics and unconscious conflicts have been described in obese patients : eating as a defense against depression, eating as a substitute for maternal love, obese body as a larger penis, and eating as a self-soothing. There was a gross neglect of certain normal parenting roles in obese family. The parenatal superego structure was not as perfectionistic. As with children and other patients with preoedipal pathology, in obese patients the analyst in addition to being transference object is a new and different object who promote healthy maturation. Because of obese parients, in there projective identification, can provoke intense countertransference, the analyst have to consider it. On the other hand, many analysts' countertransferences to superobese patients is that huge person recalls one's own childhood relationship with adults and bring forth a feeling of helplessness.

Effect of Social Participation Influencing Elderly's Suicidal Ideation (사회참여가 노인 자살생각에 미치는 영향 -사회적 지지와 자기효능감의 매개효과를 중심으로-)

  • This study's aim was to attest social support and self-efficacy's mediation effects in the path which social participation affected to elderly's suicidal ideation. Analysis data were Seoul Welfare Panel Data 2th wave(2010). A total of 1,429 cases aged over 65 were used for this study. Analysis method was AMOS 18.0's Structural Equation Modeling, and sobel test was used for attesting mediation effects's significance degree. Analysis results had established that measurement model and structural model's fit was favorable, and all path coefficients had significance degree. Therefore, this model was suitable for this study. Also this results had proved that this study's model was full mediation model, and it means that if mediation variables controlled, and then direct effect was excluded. And analysis results confirmed social support and self-efficacy' mediation effect had significance, by using a sobel test. Based on analysis results, this study suggested the importance of relationship between secondary group and individual, and presented intervention plans.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate biomechanical factors on key motions in K-Pop dance(BoA's No.1). A professional choreographer who was BoA's K-Pop No. 1 dance participated in this study. ROMs(range of motion) of shoulder and elbow joints in AP direction were greater than other joints. Those of trunk and pelvis in ML direction were the greatest of other directions. The velocity of CoG in SI direction was greater than other directions, and also max angular velocities of shoulder, elbow, knee, and hip joints in AP direction were the greatest of all directions. But ROM and angular velocity of ankle joint were very small. Max rotational powers of shoulder and knee joints were larger than other joints.

Investigation into the Thermal Stability of Fluoropolymer Coating for Heat-Resistant Application (내열성 불소수지 코팅막의 열 안정성에 관한 연구)

  • Fluoropolymer of PTFE and PFA etc. is a heat resistance polymeric material that it is known as that maximum continuous use temperature reaches for 260 $^{\circ}C$. It was observed that these polymers had the enough thermal stability so enough that it was kept by thermal aging of 280 $^{\circ}C$/7 weeks too in this study. However, such thermal stability means that bulk material property is kept such as mechanical strength, melting point and initial pyrolysis temperature etc. If these polymers are evaluate by coating property such as surface contact angle, surface morphology, surface scratch, thing that heat resistance is not enough was confirmed in this study. Thermal aging of flouropolymer coating was achieved by gear aging oven that the exchange rate of air was controlled, and the analysis results were indicating serious damage of surface morphology and adhesive strength on metal substrate.

Esthetic Properties of Photoinitiated Polymeric Dental Restorative Nanocomposites (광중합형의 치아수복용 고분자 나노복합체의 심미 특성)

  • Photoinitiated polymeric dental restorative nanocomposites (PDRNC) were designed to be useful for the variety of dental restoration. Hybrid-filler composed of barium silicate (avg. dia.:1 ${\mu}m$) and nano-sized silica (avg. dia: 40 and 7 nm) was adopted as a filler system. To improve the interfacial behavior with the resin matrix of bisphenol A glycerolate methacrylate/triethyleneglycol dimethacrylate (60/40 wt%), the surface of the filler was hydrophobically treated with a silane coupling agent. A visible light system of camphorquinone photo-initiator and 2-(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate photo-accelerator was utilized to activate the PDRNC. Esthetic properties of PDRNC was investigated by measuring the Hunter L, a, b values and it was discovered that PDRNC produced in this work showed excellent esthetic properties with an increase in 7 nm nanofiller content.
