기업의 전략적 제휴와 관련된 이슈는 (1)계약체결이전의 문제(제휴의 동기 및 파트너의 선정), (2)계약상의 문제(계약 협상), 그리고 (3)계약이후의 문제(제휴의 운영 및 관리)의 세 가지 측면에서 접근가능하다. 본 연구에서는 전략적 제휴 이후의 결합효과 증대와 공동의 목표달성을 위한 제휴의 성공적 운영 및 관리에 초점을 두고 그 핵심전략으로서 상호호혜적 조정노력(가치-공유적, 일치성-중심 및 친교적 조정노력)을 제안한다 구체적으로, 전략적 제휴에 있어서 상호호혜적 전략이 파트너 기업과의 관계(파트너기업의 협력행동 유발, 기업간 상호적응성, 그리고 파트너 기업의 기회주의적 행동 억제)와 효과성(거래비용감소 및 관계지속의지) 사이의 관계를 구조적으로 파악하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

인터넷과 네트워크 기술의 실시간 모니터링과 갱신이 가능해짐에 따라 e-Business는 여러 가지 다양한 형태로 변화되어 가고 있다. 이에 맞추어 기업은 실시간으로 시장의 요구에 반응하기 위해 기업중심의 체제에서 고객중심의 체제로 체질을 개선하고 있으며 이제는 기업과 고객의 차원을 넘어 한 단계 진보된 관계관리로의 기술 투자에 많은 역량과 기술, 자본을 투자하고 있다. 하지만 시시각각으로 변화하는 어플리케이션외 변화에 대부분의 중소 기업들은 어려움을 호소하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 고객 중심의 관계관리에서 파트너와의 관계관리에서의 가치 이전에서 오는 내부 프로세스의 변화에 대한 상호 보완적 통합 기법을 제안 함으로써 중소 기업들에게 이런 어려움에 다소나마 도움을 주고자 하는데 본 논문의 연구 목적이 있다.

지난 몇 년간 인터넷의 확산과 더불어 기업 환경에는 많은 변화가 있었다. 그 중 하나가 전자적인 형태로 접근할 수 있는 정보 양의 급증이라 할 수 있다. (Martin White, 2000 : 신학철, 2001) E-business 환경에서 이처럼 정보의 양이 급증함에 따라 정보의 효율적인 활용은 기업의 주요 경쟁원천이 되고 있다. 정보의 중요성을 깨달은 기업들은 운영효율성 증가를 위해 백오피스시스템과 프론트오피스시스템 등에 많은 투자를 했다. (안승용, 2001) 하지만 새로운 정보시스템 도입 시 레거시시스템과의 통합을 고려하지 않아 업무효율성 향상을 위한 정보기술이 역으로 업무수행을 저해하는 결과를 초래했다. (Jaydip, 2002) 예컨대 기업의 각 시스템간에 정보의 일관성이 결여되어 있고, 필요한 정보 역시 기업내 여러 시스템에 산재되어 있어 정보의 이용 면에서 효율성이 떨어지는 문제에 직면하게 된 것이다 따라서 기업은 각 시스템에 산재해 있는 정보사용의 효율성을 놀이기 위해 기업 내 다양한 정보시스템간 통합의 필요성을 인식함에 따라 이전까지 분산 환경이던 IT환경이 점차 기업정보포탈(Enterprise Information Portal: EIP)같은 통합 환경으로 바뀌게 되었다. (KRG Report, 2002) EIP는 현재와 E-business를 준비하는 기업에 중요한 관심사항으로 떠오르고 있으며 현재 IBM, MS 같은 글로벌 기업 뿐 아니라 다수의 국내 업체들도 통합 솔루션 시장 진출해 경쟁을 벌이고 있다. 본 논문에서는 EIP의 개념을 살펴보고 기존의 정보시스템과 EIP 관련 연구를 기반으로 새롭게 부상하고 있는 EIP의 성과를 시스템 품질과 정보품질로 측정하여 이들 요인이 EIP사용자의 직무성과에 미치는 영향에 관해 연구하였다. 본 논문은 EIP를 도입한 기업을 대상으로 EIP성과에 대한 연구를 진행하여 EIP를 도입하거나 구현중인 기업에게 적합한 경영관리적 방향을 제시할 수 있을 것이다.

This study investigates the effects of entrepreneurship and corporate social responsibility (CSR) on firm performance. I use the conditional quantile regression as well as the ordinary least square (OLS) with 300 samples, only medium and small size companies. I found firstly, entrepreneurship affected overall positively firm performance in the all quantile levels. Secondly, CSR also have a positive impact on firm performance in the overall all quantile levels. By these results, I recommend that entrepreneurship and CSR should a positive impact on the firm performance for the small and medium business companies.

본 연구는 중소기업청 공고 중소기업기술개발 지원사업 과제로 한국천문연구원(주관기관)과 (주)져스텍(공동개발기관)이 공동으로 수행하였다. 지원사업 과제는 출연연과 중소기업이 기술개발 및 이전을 하여 개발된 망원경을 상용화하는 것이 목표이다. 망원경에서 가대부는 (주)져스텍에서, 경통부는 한국천문연구원에서 각각 담당하여 제작 하였다. 시스템을 설계하고 가대부, 경통부, 디로테이터 등을 조립,정렬하였고, 제작품을 시험한 결과, 초기 개발 목표치에 달성 하였다. 망원경을 제작하면서 한국천문연구원에서 가지고 있던 기계부, 전자부, 프로그램에 대한 기술을 (주)져스텍에 이전하여 독자적으로 제작이 가능하게 하였다. 본 과제를 수행하면서 국립 고흥청소년우주체험센터 망원경을 제작하게 되어 가격경쟁력을 갖는 망원경 제작이 가능하다는 것을 입증 하였다. 향후 광학계가 완성되고 원하는 성과를 내면 중형망원경을 개발하는데 많은 도움이 될 것이다.

This paper examines a country's strategic optimal tariff policy against a foreign firm with market power. That is, the purpose of the paper is, under asymmetric information, to reexamine the problem of optimal tariff policy against a foreign monopolist from another country's welfare standpoint. This is to extend the analysis of Brander and Spencer(1984) which is both analytic and elaborate. The incentive compatible tariff schedule is derived, and then policy implications are investigated. The main result is that, under incomplete information, the optimal tariff is elevated above its full-information counterpart in order to capture foreign rents. Moreover, it suggests that trade policies motivated by rent extraction are unlikely to be robust to the introduction of incomplete information. This research complements an existing literature on the strategic trade policy in terms of asymmetric information.

Transborder data flow(TBDF) of personal information in Korea has been limited by current Privacy law which request data subject to give consent. As the IT industry is growing at an incredible rate, there is a need to review the existing law to cope with growing industrial demand and increasing numbers of international data transfer. The transfer of personal data overseas not only allow businesses providing IT services including finance, internet, e-commerce to thrive, but also impact every aspect of our lives which are increasingly depended on these technology. Transmitting personal data across borders raises serious questions of privacy protection and restriction of business operation. In ordrer to promote interoperability of personal data in international environment, a considerable amount of research and debate needs to be taken before implementing a sound policy. This paper presents a need for a sound TBDF policy in Korea by examine the main policy challenges associated with TBDF. Finally, the paper identify policy suggestions based on European Union's approach as they have successfully implemented TBDF policy that balanced data privacy and economic agenda.

Due to the toughening intelligence-based competitions among nations, it has become important to industrialize R&D results. To industrialize R&D results through technology transfer, the transfer fee between a technology developer and a company should be discussed. While discussing the transfer fee, the results of technology valuation have been used. However, due to the unreliability of its result, the technology transfer market has not been expanded. In this paper, we discuss the improvement of the reliability of the technology valuation method to expand the technology transfer market. The proposed scheme provides graph-type technology valuation results according to various industrial scenarios using objective technology and market data. With the use of the proposed scheme, the technology developer and the consumer (i.e., the company) can determine the appropriate technology transfer fee. Thus, the proposed scheme is expected to contribute to the expansion of the technology transfer market.

This study examines the effect of previous work experience on the long-lived venture firm called 'Good Quality startup'. The research explores entrepreneurs of 16 mobile application startups that were invested by the venture capital, 'K-ventures', through the resource-based view. The results show that all of entrepreneurs had previous experiences of their business domain. They accumulated human resources such as technology capabilities, knowledge of domain, know-how, networking through learning-by-doing. Entrepreneur's human resources are the key factors for opportunity recognition and realisation process; and it is also on the ground that venture capital determines investment. Venture capital provides financial resources, management support and strong network for venture firm. Technology resources, financial resources, know-how and networking are the core managerial resources to be a long-lived venture firm called 'Good Quality Startup'. This research is an exploratory case study based on previous experience and 'good quality entrepreneurship'. The empirical study hereafter is needed.

We test the hypothesis whether foreign direct investments(hereafter "FDI") can affect the changes of the firm value. In this study, we use a newly developed event study technique, referred to as value-based event study approach(hereafter "VESA"), which is based on the seminal papers of M&M(1958, 1961, 1963) and Lee(2006, 2007). The empirical findings about the effects of FDI's on the intrinsic firm values, which can be measured by intrinsic Q(hereafter "IQ") values of the VESA, are as follows; First, the FDI's are carried out by healthy firms in terms of high IQ's. The IQ values become higher during the post-FDI period than prior to performing FDI's. Second, among the four components of IQ values, the value of assets-in-place, the value of intangible assets, and the value of growth opportunities are all increased during the post-FDI period, except the value of current earnings. Third, the same results are observed in all the samples classified by industry. In sum, thanks to the above findings in this study, we can conclude that the announcements of the FDI's are good and reliable indicators for the firm to signal to the market that the FDI firms are healthy in intrinsic firm values, and also that they have good chances to increase their firm values through the new investments abroad.
