The Structure of Knowledge Management Capability and Its Impact on Organizational Performance (지식 관리 역량의 구조 및 기업 성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구)

  • What the structure of knowledge management capability (KMC) to improve the organizational performance is an important issue for researchers and practitioners with growing interest in recent years. In this paper, we begin with a deep thinking about the resource-based view and knowledge-based view of the firm applying to knowledge management issues. By exploring the two underlying theories of knowledge management, together with an intensive review and interpretation of existing literatures, we obtain six major dimensions of KMC. We then propose an integrated conceptual model of KMC and its relationship with organizational performance. A PLS analysis of the gathered data from organizations in Korea which already have enterprise-wide knowledge management systems is conducted to validate the proposed model. We discuss several meaningful implications and draw several insightful conclusions surrounding the KMC.

  • This study is to understand those determinants of performance differences of Korean small and medium firm's subsidiaries in Vietnam based on the resource based view. We have visited 21 Korean SME's subsidiaries in Hochiminh city area in Vietnam and interviewed CEO of those subsidiaries for 1-2 hours to make each case. Based on case content analysis, we can get those results that eight management capabilities such as securing competent local managers, clear and smooth communication with local employees, establishing good labor-management relations, raising the rate of factory operation and subcontracting, firm specific quality control system, timely financing, establishing good relationships with local communities, and fostering friendly relations with local public officers are major determinants of performance differences. Also we can know that various factors including local experiences in Vietnam have influenced those management capabilities. To be a high performer in Vietnam, foreign subsidiaries of Korean SMEs have to build and develop major management capabilities continuously.

  • 인터넷과 웹의 발전은 쇼핑몰 형태의 B2C(Business to Customer) 전자상거래를 비롯하여 기업간의 거래에도 많은 변화를 가져오게 되었다. B2B(Business to Business) 전자상거래는 기업간의 거래를 위하여 이기종간의 데이터 교환은 물론, 다양한 응용 어플리케이션과의 연동이 필수적이다. 기업간 거래에 있어서 가장 기본이 되는 EDI는 그 동안 EDIFACT, X.12와 같은 표준을 이용하여 이루어져 왔지만, 확장성과 유연성이 떨어지고 개발 및 유지, 보수에 많은 비용을 요구하기 때문에 일반 중 소기업들까지 사용하기에는 어려움이 많았다. 반면에, 인터넷과 웹이라는 누구나 쉽게 이용할 수 있는 수단과 XML 기술이 등장하면서 이를 EDI에 적용하여 확장성과 유연성을 높이고, 저렴한 비용으로 EDI 시스템을 효과적으로 구축할 수 있게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 한국전력에서 사용하는 전기신규접수 XML/EDI 시스템 개발 경험을 바탕으로 XML을 이용한 EDI 문서 설계와 XSL을 이용한 문서 처리 기술, 레거시(legacy) 시스템과의 연동, 보안 및 인증 기술의 적용 등을 바탕으로 XML/EDI 시스템의 설계 및 구현에 대하여 논하고자 한다.

The Effect of Service Orientation of Hotels on CRM Performance (호텔기업의 서비스지향성이 CRM성과에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was to identify the effects of hotel organizational service orientation on CRM(customer relationship management) performance. The organizational service orientation has been considered very important for excellent service quality in many existing studies. The data were collected from employees in deluxe hotels of the metropolitan area with the questionnaire. To test the hypotheses, using AMOS were conducted for 379 respondents as a sample collected. The results show that customer's authority, service training, service reward significantly influenced to competitive advantage. Among the three variables the service reward was especially significant. In addition, competitive advantage significantly influenced to CRM performance (relationship commitment, image of corporation, customer's loyalty). So it is very important for employee to give a authority, share of service training program, give a reward what they want. Because that system can lead to the good performance. As a result, the CEO of hotel has to attention the organizational service orientation for achievement of the CRM performance.

  • 기업 네트워크에서 안전하고 효과적이며 안정된 망 운영관리 환경 제공은 당면한 중요과제이며 기업 경쟁력의 핵심인 정보기술을 통한 생산성과도 연계성을 갖고 있다. 특히 전력통신망의 경우 전자메일, 회계관리, 전자결재, 도면자료관리 등의 데이터 통신망에서부터 IBM 온라인, 사내 방송망, 전력계통설비 원방 제어용 시스템들 간을 연결하는 EMS, SCADA 등 전골 수급용 전용 통신망에 이르기까지 다양한 종류의 통신망이 구축 운용되고 있다. 이러한 기업환경에서 통신망의 장애는 기업의 엄청난 손실을 야기할 수 있으며, 그에 따라 장애관리에 대한 중요성이 크게 부각되고 있다. 하지만 현재의 장애관리시스템들은 네트워크에 장애가 발생하였을 경우 장애에 따른 결과를 받아서 네트워크 상태가 정상인지 비정상인지를 네트워크 운영자에게 보고하는 기능만을 제공하고 있다. 또한 네트워크 운영자는 장애가 발생한 사실만을 관리시스템을 통하여 통보 받을 뿐 장애에 대한 해결은 관리시스템과 별도로 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문은 전력통신망을 대상으로 전력통신망이 지닌 네트워크 특성을 반영하며 네트워크 운영 과정에서 축적된 네트워크 운영자의 의견과 이에 대한 조치를 지식 데이터베이스화하여 지능적인 장애관리시스템을 제공하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

Effect of Government R&D Subsidies on Business Performance - Focusing on the Moderating Effect of the Commercialization Program - (기업경영성과에 대한 정부 R&D지원의 효과 - 사업화 프로그램의 조절효과를 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this paper is to analyze the effect of government R&D subsidies on business performance of SMEs in the field of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport. To this end, based on domestic and foreign literature, the performance derived through R&D was classified as primary and secondary parameters, and the commercialization program operated by the government was set as a moderating variable. Regression analysis, double mediation analysis, and moderated mediation effect analysis were used to confirm the effect of government R&D subsidy on project performance and process. As a result of this study, it was confirmed that government R&D subsidies have a significant effect on corporate management performance, and it was confirmed that the primary performance such as papers and patents and the secondary performance such as prototypes and legislative revisions have a double mediating. In addition, when the commercialization program was applied to the first and second parameters, it was confirmed that it played a moderated mediating effect. The results of this study are expected to be used when establishing government R&D support plans to expand business performance and economic effects in the future.

  • SSO (Single Sign On), which allows users to have an access to a various systems through a single authentication, has been receiving much attention from many enterprises due to the user convience through a single authentication and the recent security features based on PKI. An emerging authentication management system called EAM has further enhanced the efficiency and stability of the enterprise IT infrastructrure systems. In this article, the basic concept and characteristics of the existing SSO systems are analyzed and a new SSO model, based on PKI where authentication load is balanced via multiple circulators, is presented.

  • Most companies in Korea that are implementing six sigma programs evaluate belt's project performance based on their own evaluation systems. Financial performance is a major criterion to evaluate project performance. New project evaluation systems which are based on not only financial performance but also non-financial performance need to be presented for better performance system. The study presents the integration system of balanced scorecard and six sigma project evaluation systems to show balanced view points of performance. Each evaluation index of four view points are presented in the study and could be utilized for alternative project evaluation systems.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of orgaizational capability(Organizational management capability, marketing capability, relationship formation capability, governance capability) of management perceived by the members of the social enterprise on performance of organization(both economic and social). For such goal, empirical analysis of research hypothesis 1 (organizational competence and economic performance) and research hypothesis 2 (organizational competence and social performance) was conducted using the statistical program of IBM SPSS 24.0 for the final 195 candidates who work in social enterprise. Both hypothesis 1 and 2 were adopted, as the result of the hypothesis 1 and 2, H1-1 H2-1 (organizational management competence and economic performance and social performance), H1-2 H2-2 (marketing competence and economic performance social performance), H1-3 H2-3 (relationship formation competence, economic performance, and social performance), and H1-4 H2-4 (governance capability and economic performance and social performance) all have a significant effect on economic and social performance. Therefore, the importance of organizational capability of management, executive body of social enterprises, was emphasized for the success and strive of social enterprise and sustainable management. Therefore, it is necessary to establish an education and training system to strategically develop and strengthen the organizational capability of the management, and provide a systematic and long-termed education system and training.

  • 공급망관리(SCM:Supply Chain Management)는 자신의 비즈니스를 개선하고자 노력하는 대부분의 기업들에게 있어서 핵심 목표가 되고 있다. 공급망최적화(SCO:Supply Chain Optimization)는 이러한 개선 노력의 중심 목표로서 등장했으며, 보다 높은 수준의 고객 만족을 제공하기 위해, 공급망 구성원들이 최상의 업무 수행 사례를 공유하여 공급망 상호작용의 최저 원가와 최고 효율 시스템을 개발하기 위한 조직화 된 노력을 의미한다. 이러한 공급망에서 성과를 내기 위해서는 각 구성 요소들 사이의 조정과 협력이 필요하다. 그러나 기업내부와 기업외부의 환경의 동적인 면으로 인해 이러한 조정에 어려움이 있다. 예를 들면 공급업체로부터 원자재 도착시간의 지연, 생산 설비의 고장, 작업자의 질병, 고객의 주문에 대한 취소 및 변경을 계획의 변화를 유발시킨다. 몇 가지의 경우에는 지엽적으로 다루어 질 수 있지만 대부분의 경우는 공급망의 여러 기능들 사이에서 다루어져야만 한다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 중소기업의 각 프로세스를 최적화시키기 위해 에이전트를 이용한 e-SCM 프레임워크를 구축하고, 시뮬레이션 기법을 통해 그에 따른 성과를 제시한다.
