Comparison of Yield and Quality between Organic Cultivation and Conventional Cultivation in Rice (Oryza sativa L.) Field (벼 유기재배와 관행재배의 수량과 품질 비교)

  • 본 연구에서는 2008년 전라남도 나주시 반남지역과 노안지역 두 곳의 벼 농가포장에서 유기재배 및 관행(일반)재배 시험을 수행하고 벼 병충해발생, 생육 및 수량, 그리고 쌀의 품위 및 품질을 비교 분석하였다. 시험의 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1) 벼 병충해 방제는 노안지역 관행재배는 2회, 반남지역 관행재배는 4회 실시하였으며 유기재배는 노안, 반남지역 모두 2회 실시하였다. 포장에서 벼 병해충은 줄무늬잎마름병, 잎도열병, 이삭도열병, 잎집무늬마름병, 흰잎마름병, 혹명나방, 멸구류가 주로 발생하였다. 벼 병해충 중 잎도열병, 이삭도열병, 혹명나방은 관행재배보다 유기재배에서 발생이 많았다. 2) 벼생육상황은 간장이나 수장은 관행재배에 비해 유기재배에서 약간 짧은 경향이었다. 노안지역은 유기재배의 경우 관행재배에 비해 주당수수는 0.6개 정도 많았으나 수당입수, 등숙비율, 정현비율, 현미 천립중이 낮았다. 반면 반남지역은 유기재배의 경우 관행재배에 비해 주당수수는 0.8개 정도 적었으나 수당입수와 등숙비율은 높았고 정현비율은 낮았다. 전체 수량은 유기재배가 관행재배에 비해 노안지역은 84% 수준이고, 반남지역은 94% 수준이었다. 3) 쌀의 품위는 노안지역과 반남지역 두 지역 모두 완전립율이 관행 재배보다 유기재배에서 낮은 경향을 보였다. 쌀의 품질은 반남지역의 경우 유기재배시 기비로 사용한 질소가 관행재배에 비해 많아서 늦게 비효가 발현되어 이삭도열병, 혹명나방 피해가 발생하여 관행재배에 비해 단백질, 취반미 윤기치값이 낮았다. 반면 노안지역의 경우 유기재배시 기비로 사용한 질소가 관행재배에 비해 적어서 관행재배보다 단백질, 백도, 취반미 윤기치 값 등에서 양호하게 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과를 소비자들에게 홍보하여 이들로부터 소비를 촉진케 함으로써 벼 유기재배 농가의 소득증대에 기어코자 한다.

Structural Analysis of KARI General Small-scaled Rotor Test System (GSRTS) (KARI 축소 로터 시험장치(GSRTS) 구조해석)

  • This paper describes the structural analysis results of KARI General Small-scaled Rotor Test System (GSRTS) operated in KARI to verify operational safety. This GSRTS was developed to conduct a froude and mach small-scaled rotor test. This analysis was performed to investigate the structural Factor of Safety for the various small-scale rotor system like articulated or hingeless rotor and to check the operational capability using given operational design load. Specially, drive system has several bearings, mechanical gears, shaft, etc. and these parts must be required to achieve an operational safety. The calculation was done by using geometric data and material properties by analytical method. This rotor test system should be operated within these calculated Factor of Safety. Furthermore, the operational limitation should be defined as applied to small-scale rotor system of KUH in future.

Optimal Design for Weight Reduction of Rotorcraft Shaft System (회전익기의 축계 경량화를 위한 최적설계)

  • Weight optimization was performed for a rotorcraft shaft system using one-dimensional Euler-Bernoulli beam elements. Torsion, shaft support stiffness such as bearings, flange mass are all considered. To guarantee structural dynamic stability, eigenvalue analysis was performed to avoid critical speed and tooth mesh excitation form the gearbox. The weight optimization was performed by adjusting the thickness and radius while the length of the shaft was fixed, and the optimization process was divided into two stages. In the first, the weight is optimized with the torsional strength constraint. In the second, the difference between the primary mode of shaft and the critical speed is maximized so that the primary mode of the shaft can avoid the critical speed while the constraint on the torsional strength of the shaft is satisfied according to the standard for shaft system stability (AMC P 706-201, 1974). The proposed method was verified by comparing the results of the optimal design using the given one-dimensional beam elements with the stress results of the 3D finite element and the actual manufactured shaft.

Development of Theoretical Formulae for Calculation of Required Torque in Roll-up Type Ventilation System (권취식 창개폐시스템의 소요토크모델 개발)

  • Most of the greenhouses employ the roll-up type ventilation control system. Torque required to roll-up and down might be theoretically expressed with the weight times radius of the ventilation roll; however, measured torques were two times of the theoretically estimated values. As the window film of roll-up vent is used over the periods of time, the warping and crumpling of the material caused the increase of the torque in addition to a span deformation. Therefore, this study was performed to develop an empirical torque formulae to present basic torque data and to assist the development of roll-up type ventilation control system. The empirically adjusted rolling radius (r+a) exponentially increased at the maximum span deformation. The coefficient of rolling resistance (Cr) was about 0.7―0.8 depending upon the wrinkle status of film material.

  • 승용차에 있어 엔진의 공회전시나 주행중에 발생하는 여러 형태의 진동 및 소음의 저감은 승차감 및 차량의 안정성에 있어 중요한 과제가 되고 있다. 이러한 소음, 진동은 주로 엔진에서 발생하는 토크의 비주기적인 변동성분이 클러치(clutch), 변속기(transmission), 구동축을 거쳐 바퀴로 전달되는 과정에서 발생한다. 셔플(shuffle)은 주행중 가속페달(accelerator)을 급조작(tip-in, tip-out)하였을 때 차량이 전후로 과도적으로 울렁거리는 종진동 현상을 말하며, 이것은 가속페달의 급조작으로 인해 엔진토크가 큰 변동을 일으키고, 동력전달계를 통해 타이어에 전달된 이 토오크는 타이어축에서 구동측으로 역토오크를 발생시키기 때문에 발생한다. 여기서 팁-인(tip-in)이란 승용차를 저속으로 운전하다가 갑자기 가속페달을 밟는 경우를 말하며, 팁-아웃(tip-out)은 반대로 고속상태에서 갑자기 가속페달을 떼는 경우를 말한다. 실험과 시뮬레이션을 사용한 자동차 동력전달계의 비틀림 진동에 대한 연구는 이미 여러 연구자들에 의해 보고되었다. H.Arai은 2자유도 비선형 모델을 사용하여 클러치 접속시 발생하는 외란과 계의 안정성을 고려하여 시뮬레이션을 수행하였고, M.Kataoka는 기어의 공차(clearance)를 고려한 변속기의 강제 비틀림 진동을 실험과 시뮬레이션을 통하여 해석하였다. 그리고, Wu Hui-Le는 자동차 동력전달계의 비틀림 진동 현상을 실험과 이론적인 계산을 통해 연구하였고, R.J.Comparin는 치타음의 발생구조와 특성을 고찰하고 비서형 비틀림 공진 저감에 의한 치타음 저감 기법에 대하여 연구하였다. 또한 G.J.Fudala는 다자유도 모델을 이용하여 클러치의 비틀림 특서엥 따라 주파수분석을 수행하여 치타음 저감 방법을 연구하였고, T.Sakai는 5자유도 모델을 이용하여 엔진 공회전시 발생하는 치타음에 대해 이론과 실험을 통해 해석하고, 엔진 회전수 변동, 클러치 특성, 변속기의 드래그(drag) 토크의 영향과 치타음 저감을 위한 개선된 클러치 특성을 제시하였다. 이 외에도 Thomas C.T.와 E.P.Petkus는 특정 차량에 대한 동력전달계의 비틀림 진동 현상에 대해 연구하였다. 이러한 연구들로 볼 때, 자동차 동력전달계에서 발생하는 진동은 이론과 실험을 통해 그 해석이 가능하며 설계에 매우 유용하게 이용되고 있음을 알 수 있다. 따라서, 본 연구는 4 실린더 4 싸이클 1.5 L 엔진을 장착한 경승용차의 실차 주행실험을 통해 가속 페달의 급조작에 따른 차체의 종진동 현상을 측정하고, 엔진-변속기-타이어-차체의 반환정계 4자유도 진동모델로 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 실차 주행실험의 결과치와 비교, 분석한 후 클러치 비틀림 특성을 비롯한 자동차 동력전달계의 각 설계인자들이 차체의 종진동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 해석하고자 한다.

  • Among the various audiometric test batteries, pure tone and speech audiometry was carried as routine. During the past 20 years, there have been works on speech word list for Korean language. As a preliminary work for standardization of Korean speech word list, the authors are intended to study on the factors of test methods with these proposal speech word lists. Now, authors has studied as followings methods and materials and the results were obtained as followings. A. Materials and Methods a. Word List 1. Paik Chun Kee (Paik) 2. Soh Jin Myoung (Soh) 3. Cynn Kyu Shik (Cynn) 4. Lee Jong Dam (Lee) 5. Hahm Tae Young (Hahm) b. Test Method 1. ascending 2. descending c. Test Material 1. live voice 2. Recorded male voice 3. Recorded female voice B. Results 1. Score of ascending method was better result than descending method. 2. Speech reception threshold and discrimination score were better in recorded female voice, live voice and recorded male voice in that order. 3. Speech reception thresholds among tested word lists were Hahm, Lee, Soh, Cynn and Paik in that order. 4. Discrimination score was highest with Cynn and Lee, Soh, Hahm, Paik in that order.

A Study on vibration suppression of dual inertia system using controlling Parameter $\alpha$ of PID controller with 2-degree of freedom (2자유도 PID 제어기의 파라미터 $\alpha$ 추종을 이용한 2관성 시스템의 진동억제)

  • A torque transmission system composed of several gears and couplings is flexible. In order to get an exact response of motor, the torsional vibration due to an unexpected change of motor speed must be suppressed. Therefore, it is very important that motor control suppress vibration. Various methods to control it including dual inertia system are proposed. Specially, the method of vibration suppression is that vibration can be suppressed to fee㏈ack the estimated torsion torque via the disturbance observer filter being of normal filter. The suitable Proportional controller and coefficient parameter can be designed using CDM and the torsional vibration also be suppressed, but it has a low degree of adaptability to disturbance. The PID controller can be designed easily, but makes the excessive overshoot and oscillation for system response in the early period. To resolve these problems, simple and practical PID controller with two degree of freedom is proposed recently that it ran improve performance of obeying the reference unconcerned in any disturbance by changing the proportional gain by two degree of freedom parameter. But it has also the defect that parameter a must be changed to obtain the ideal Proportional parameter. On this paper, we design the controller which automatically adjusts parameter u using fuzzy Algorithm to overcome such defects. Also, we compare the proposed method with established one and evaluate them to confirm performance of the designed controller.

Maturation, Sex Ratio and Sex-reversal of Red Spotted Grouper, Epinephelus akaara (붉바리의 성숙과 성비 및 성전환)

  • Red spotted grouper, Epinephelus akaara is distributed in the south and west coasts of Korea. The natural stocks of the fish are decreasing sharply year by uear because of reckless overfishing. This research was carried out to understand general informations on maturation, sex composition and sex-reversals of the fish. Annual fishing uields of red spotted grouper in the castal area of Byonsan Peninsular of Kora decreased over 10% from 1992 to 1994. The main fishing season was from May to July with fishing gear of Hand-lines. Gonadosomatic index (GSI) and condition factor were highest on early and late July, respectively, thus main spawning reriod was assumed from late July to early August. The relationship between total length (X) and body weight (Y) for wild adults was represented as a regression, Y=$0.0169X^{2.9705}$, ($r^2$=0.96). Frequency of sex of wild red spotted gouper showed that the number of female below 38cm in total length was more than that of male, and hermaphrodite mainly occurred from 28cm to 32cm in total length the frequency of male and female were almost same. Also hermaphrodite occurred mainly between 25~29cm. Sex reversal ration of the adults reared in a tank for a year with different sexual compositions revealted that the frequency of female reversed from male was more than that of male reversed from female at 1:1 and 1:2 stocking densities of female and male, respectively. Also, about 20% of female was reversed to male when all females were reared. And the size of the fish reversed to male was larger than that of non-reversed female.
