Agricultural extension service in Ethiopia was started in early 1950s with mandate of transferring local research outputs and technologies to farmers, and importing technologies and improved practices from abroad. Extension service provided in this early time was limited to areas surrounding the experiment stations. Since then, Ethiopian Agricultural extension service has passed through at least five stages: the land grant extension system, the Comprehensive Package Programs, the Minimum Package Projects, the Peasant Agricultural Development Program, and the Participatory Demonstration and Training Extension System (PADETS). The comprehensive package extension program was initially implemented in selected pilot areas and eventually to be scaled up to cover about 90% of the farming community within 15-20 years time. The program used demonstration plots managed by development agents and used to train farmers organized through various field days. However, since all of these programs were operational in only small areas, the vast majority of the country was out of their reach. Through Participatory Demonstration and Training Extension System, the extension service in Ethiopia has come under the spotlight and government debates and external reviews are putting additional scrutiny on the system. Despite this long history, the system is still in its infancy in terms of coverage, communication and institutional pluralism. Currently in Ethiopia the Agricultural extension is provided primarily by the public sector, operating in a decentralized manner through which extension is implemented at the district level. Therefore, the main focus of this paper is to scrutinize the past, the present and the future Agricultural extension system in Ethiopia.

국내 과학기술단체 및 학회의 유기적 활동 조성과 산학협동체제를 강화하여 과학기술의 진흥에 이바지함을 목적으로 각종활동을 추진하고 있는 한국과학기술단체총연합회의 73년도 추진 사업 및 실적은 질과 양적인 면에서 모두 활발히 전개되고 있다. 현재 진행되고 있는 사업은 과학기술용어제정사업, 연구능력 실태조사, 농가공산품개발기술 조사연구사업, 지방특산물개발기술 조사연구사업, 방송통신에 의한 기술지도사업, 기술편찬발간사업, 신문지면을 활용한 기술지도사업 등이다. 이들 각종사업은 여러회원의 성원과 협조에 힘입어 목표대로 무난히 진행되고 있다. 여기에서 각종 사업의 추진상황및 74년도 사업계획안을 보면 다음과 같다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the present and future agricultural extension system and international cooperation systems for agricultural technologies in Ghana. The role of agricultural extension in the next decade should be quite different from what it was 10 years ago or even now. Its role as a facilitator of agricultural knowledge system would only increase as more participants from private sector would get involved in extension. The public sector extension would still continue to be the major extension provider in most parts of the country as the private sector alone would not be able to meet even partially the varied needs of farmers. Internal reforms are thus going to be the greatest challenge for the Ghana Extension System. The cooperation systems work in partnership with other stakeholder to provide agricultural extension and advisory services to farmers. Innovations (information/knowledge) emerging from the seed industry may be seen as dynamic and systemic process which can emerge from many sources. KAFECI's interventions must be flexible to accommodate such changes if the need arises in subsequent years (year 2 & 3). The framework and tools for technology transfer and dissemination is developed on "innovation platform" where a group of stakeholders/collaborators with diverse social and economic backgrounds, work towards a common objective or challenge.

한국의 농촌 지도사업은 농민들이 주곡인 쌀의 자급과 푸른 채소의 주년 공급을 달성할 수 있도록 도왔을 뿐 아니라 4-H 클럽 활동의 지도를 통한 농촌 청소년의 지도와 영농후계세대의 육성 등에도 기여하여 왔다. 1997년 정부는 민주화 지방화의 미명 하에 농촌 지도 교육자의 신분을 지방직으로 전환시켰다. 이러한 지방직 전환은 다양한 문제들, 예컨대 1) 농촌 지도 교육자의 사기와 인원수를 줄여 농촌 지도의 사회교육적 기능을 저하시켰고, 2) 중앙과 지방 농촌 진흥기관의 연계를 약화시켰으며, 3) 농촌지도 교육자의 현직 교육 기회를 축소시켰으며, 또한, 4) 농업 연구와 농촌지도의 연계를 약화시키는 등의 부작용을 야기 시켰다. 흔히 농촌지도 공무원으로 부르는 농촌지도 교육자들은 농업 기술의 전파 보급을 위한 전문직이며 미국 등 선진국에서는 국가가 인정하는 지도 교육자 (extension educator)로 전문직업 능력의 향상을 위한 다양한 노력을 경주하고 있다. 국가 목표인 식량의 지속적 생산, 국가의 균형 발전과 환경 보전은 물론 점증하는 농민들의 요구에 부응하기 위해서 농촌지도 교육자들의 사기를 앙양시키는 것은 중요한 과제이다. 안전하고 질 높은 음식의 지속적 공급을 위해서는 농업 생산자들에게 혁신 농업 기술의 전파 보급이 절대적으로 중요하기 때문에 더 이상 농촌지도사업이 훼손되는 것을 방치해서는 안 될 것이다. 농촌지도 사업의 지속적 발전을 위한 국내의 연구는 물론 아시아 태평양 지역 국가들의 농촌과 국가 발전을 위한 협동적 노력도 필요할 것이다.

Technology commercialization is a reward process for companies' various trials and investment to develop technologies, which can be regarded as a way to figure out company's business performance. To successfully attain companies' purpose via technology commercialization, a variety of knowledge which triggers and completes business activities are needed. This paper suggests a methodology to analyze problems and solutions around the technology commercialization process in terms of knowledge distribution status, especially focused on Korean SMC cases. The knowledge map of this paper is constructed from the knowledge networks and identifies problems and solutions of the target process. A case study for applying proposed concepts to SMC's cases is also performed by checking knowledge distribution status and extracting practical implications. This paper's ideas can be regarded as one of references for SMCs to prepare technology commercialization with guaranteeing facilitated knowledge distribution and utilization.

The government and of the Safety and Health Corporation have continuously carried out safety activities such as supervision, inspection, technical guidance and financial support in order to reduce accidents on the construction site. However, the number of disasters on the construction site is increasing every year, Which accounts for more than 80% of the total number of casualties. It is necessary to investigate the implementation status of safety and health management in the field of small-size construction site, and to provide the appropriate technical guidance plan to the relevant work places. Also, it is necessary to reduce the disaster at the small-size construction site, The purpose of this study is Improvement Plan to Enhancing the Effectiveness of Technical Guidance Project for Safety Control of Small Construction Site.

한국광학기기협회(회장 박상진)에서는 2011년도 사업추진방향을 정밀광학산업 기술기반 확충 및 국제 교류 협력 사업 강화, 회원사에 대한 지속적인 경쟁력 제고 등으로 정하고 적극적인 사업을 펼쳐나갈 계획이다. 주요 사업으로 국내외 전시사업, 한일협력사업, 정밀광학기술 전문인력 양성사업 등을 추진해 나가고 있다. 올해에도 국내 업체들의 제품의 우수성을 전 세계에 빌리 알리고 수출 촉진을 위해 해외 유력 전시회를 발굴하여 공동전시사업을 활발히 전개해 나가는 한편, 더욱 알찬 내용으로 일본 광기술 지도 및 언수 프로그램을 운영해 나갈 계획이다.

우리 민족의 번영과 근대화를 위해 시작된 새마을 운동이 해를 거듭 할 수록 큰 성과를 올리고 있다. 과기총 새마을 기술봉사단은 과학적인 기술지도로써 낙후된 농어촌의 복흥과 발전을 기하기 위해 전국에서 기술봉사활동을 전개하고 있다. 현재 전국 9개도에 이미 결성된 도 새마을 기술봉사단은 해당지역의 개발 및 발전을 선도하기 위해 현지 지도에 중점적 활동을 하고 있다. 특히 1 과학기술인 1 마을 기술결연을 적극적으로 전개하고 있으며 지역사회 특성을 고려연구지도에 임하고 있는데 그 사업의 결실이 하나 하나 알차게 여물고 있다. 새마을 기술봉사단전문위원인 고광출박사(서울 농대 교수)는 경기도 화성군 태안면 영통마을과 기술결연을 맺고 이룩한 제 1차 사업결과보고를 보내 왔다. 그 동안 소외 되어 꿈을 잃었던 한 마을이 과학기술자와 자매결연으로 풍요한 내일을 기약하면서 발전해가는 참모습을 여기에 게재한다.
