기자라면 누구나 특종기사를 쓰기 바라지만 그렇게 쉬운 일은 아니다. 특종기사는 크건 작건 국익이나 관련자에게 피해를 주는 경우가 많아 기자로서 고민을 하게될 때가 있다. 관계된 사람의 눈물 호소 앞에 첫 특종기사가 될 뻔한 것이 묻혀버린 적도 있었다. 재미있고 유익하되 피해자가 없는 과학기술 특종기사가 많았으면 한다.

This paper aims to analyze the hyperlink between the portal sites and the press dot coms news and to grasp the features of news service on the online journalism. As a result of the analysis, the portal sites, in the number of news articles which the hyperlink service had been provided, were more than the press dot coms. But in the number of the hyperlinks in the news story which hyperlink service had been provided, the press dot coms were more than the portal sites. The contents that were hyperlinked to the news stories of online journalism were composed of a informative type and an advertising one. All contents that were hyperlinked to the news stories on portal site were informative. On the other hand, about 92% of the contents that were hyperlinked to the news stories on the press web sites were advertising. By means of this analysis, the features of news service on the online journalism could be grasped.

Conceptions toward the artistically gifted were investigated through analyzing newspaper articles from 5 major newspapers for 14 years beginning from 1999 to 2013. There were a total of 1,281 articles having to do with artistically gifted, and showed a steady increase in number of articles as the years went by. Largest number of articles were about musically gifted, and an increase in number of articles were observed following new implementations in law and policy. Implications for education and policy development for the artistically gifted are discussed.

다양한 언론사로부터 기사를 제공받아 서비스하는 인터넷 포털의 뉴스에서는 수많은 중복 기사가 실시간으로 등록된다. 이로 인하여 인터넷 포털에서 관심 있는 주제의 기사를 검색하여 찾아보려는 경우 검색키워드를 포함한 기사의 수가 지나치게 많아 원하는 정보를 적절하게 얻기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 검색 기사 중 유사한 문서를 군집화하고 군집에 대한 다중문서요약을 사용자에게 제시하여 검색된 기사를 효율적으로 활용할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다. 다중문서 요약에서는 뉴스 기사에 적합한 단어 가중치인 분별도(discriminability)를 제안하여 사용하여 군집화된 기사로부터 유사 문장을 군집한다. 시스템에서는 군집된 기사의 대표 문장 군집에서 대표 문장, 즉 키워드에 대한 주제별 기사의 요약문을 결과로 제시하여, 효율적인 뉴스 검색을 지원한다.

빅데이터의 일종인 뉴스기사 중에 아이돌 그룹관련 뉴스기사는 아이돌 그룹의 대중적 인기에 힘입어 전체 연예계 기사 중에 점점 큰 비중을 차지하고 있다. 아이돌 그룹의 소속사는 여러 홍보 방법 중 뉴스기사의 노출을 통해 비교적 저렴한 비용으로 홍보하여 음원차트 순위 향상을 위해 노력하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 뉴스기사와 음원차트 간의 상관관계를 분석하여 뉴스기사의 노출이 효율적 홍보 수단 인지를 알아보기 위해 먼저 감성분석을 통해 긍정기사와 부정기사가 음원차트 순위에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 뉴스기사의 수가 많을수록 음원차트 순위가 상승하는지에 대해 알아보고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 R 언어를 이용하여 데이터 수집을 위한 웹 크롤러 설계, 회귀분석을 이용한 감성사전 구축 및 감성분석, 마지막으로 피어스만 상관계수를 이용한 상관관계 분석을 수행한다.

In this paper, we propose a news article recommendation system that reflects users' areas of interest and reading habits. Users can select interesting subject then our proposed system displays interesting articles above the other articles. Also the proposed system reflects users' dynamic interests using analyse of user's reading habits. The method of dynamic interest applies the different weight values from users simply clicking and reading entire articles. When users read articles from specific areas, the prosed system increases the weight of these specific areas using XML structure information. Hence users can read their articles of interest with ease.

우리나라 신문사중에서 가장 먼저 과학부가 독립부서로 설치된 곳은 한국일보사로 1958년 3월1일 이었다. 그때 견습기자로 한국일보에 입사한 필자는 과학기술기사 발굴에 심혈을 기울였지만 과학기술기사를 독자가 알기 쉽고 재미있게 쓴다는 것은 쉬운일이 아니었다. 기사를 서서 편집부에 넘기면 기사가 재미없다거나 내용이 신통치 않다고 칼질하기가 일쑤였다. 아인슈타인은 전문용어를 쓰지않고도 쉽게 설명했다는데 우리도 과학기술기사를 쉽고 재미있게 쓰는 지혜가 아쉽다.

뉴스기사를 구성하는 NOD데이터는 VOD(Video on Demand) 데이터와는 달리 미디어의 종류 및 크기, 시간적인 접근 지역성, 사용자와 상호 작용성 등의 차이점을 가질 뿐만 아니라 새로운 뉴스기사가 수시로 생성되고 사용자가 인기도가 높은 기사와 최신의 뉴스기사에 더 많이 접근하는 특성을 가진다. 본 논문에서는 현재 서비스중인 전자신문의 로그파일을 분석하여 NOD 뉴스기사의 인기도가 Zipf분포와 다름을 보이고, 뉴스기사의 생명주기Lifr Cycle)에 따른 접근 확률분포 제시한다. NOD 데이터의 접근 편기성으로 인하여 데이터 캐싱을 통한 NOD 서버의 성능 향상을 기대할 수 있으나 뉴스기사의 생명주기가 짧고 접근시간대별로 사용자 접근형태가 변하는 등의 이유로 단순히 인기도만 고려한 캐싱은 빈번한 데이터 재배치 문제로 인해 높은 캐시 관리비용을 야기한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 뉴스 기사의 접근 편기성에 나타나는 인기도(popularity)와 생명주기를 조합한 척도를 제안하고 이를 이용한 재배치를 제안한다.

최근 인터넷 기사 중에는 부정확한 제목이나 자극적인 단어를 사용하는 경우가 많아 구독자에게 불편함을 준다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 기사들의 헤드라인을 삭제하고, 기사의 내용을 3문장으로 요약해 주어, 구독자가 원하는 기사를 효율적으로 파악할 수 있게 하는 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 본 시스템은 파이썬 언어의 KoNLPy 패키지를 사용하여 기사의 단어들을 형태소 단위로 분석하며, 추출된 키워드를 토대로 워드 클라우드를 생성한다. 사용자가 클라우드의 특정 단어를 선택하면, 해당 신문기사들의 본문을 분석하여 각 신문 기사만의 핵심적인 문장을 3문장으로 출력해 준다.

본 논문은 낚시성 기사 제목과 비낚시성 기사 제목을 판별하기 위한 시스템을 제시한다. 서포트 벡터 머신(SVM)을 이용하여 기사 제목을 분류하며, 분류하는 기준은 딥러닝 기법중의 하나인 워드임베딩(Word Embedding), 군집화 알고리즘 중 하나인 K 평균 알고리즘(K-means)을 이용한다. 자질로서 기사 제목의 단어를 사용하였으며, 정확도가 83.78%이다. 결론적으로 낚시성 기사 제목에는 낚시를 유도하는 특별한 단어들이 존재함을 알 수 있다.
