This study was carried out to investigate the service life of reinforced concrete structures for durability design. The service life has three aspects physical service life, functional service life, and social service life, and that a structures are normally demolished to end its service life when either the functional or social service life is over before the physical service life comes to end an end. In the future, it is very important that durability design shall be performed establishing design service life and the unallowable state of deterioration in the course of design service life.

The purpose of the present study is to analyze the response of Gas Utility subjected to Earthquake and to discuss the failure prediction of Kogas Storage Tank. Initially here, characteristics of Earthquake are reviewed and then earthquake-resistance Design is investigated based on previous earthquake hazard cases. Next, considering the distribution of the transverse permanent ground displacement and equivalent spring constant effect, formulae obtained by a beam theory are established to analyze PeungTak Center Control Room. This analysis was performed without consideration of axial effects. So the finite element analysis was used in order to consider the axial stiffness of Structure.

A value can be placed on the integrated science curriculum in terms of producing an insight into solving the routine problem. From such a point of view, the comprehensive concepts which explain the extensive natural phenomena were defined as the integrated themes in this study, and the contents of the integrated science curriculum were developed, as the understanding of the contents focused on the integrated theme enables us to be productive and have an insight. Through analyzing teaching materials, programs and curriculums in relation to the integrated science, five concepts of system, interaction, harmony and balance, structure and function, and circulation were established as the integrated themes, and the nature of each integrated theme was examined. Next, in accordance with the integrated theme, the content of the integrated science curriculum,which are deeper in aspect of the integration level than that of the current science of middle school, were developed. The content of the integrated science curriculum which was proposed in this study is of great significance. in that they provide new perspectives related to our current science curriculum.

Development is given for an analytical approach that can investigate parameters characterizing road network geometry. A grid transportation network having a hierarchy structure is considered on a homogeneous and isotropic urban plane in which trip origins and destinations are uniformly dispersed and the trip length distribution is independent of the location of the origin. The object is to find the optimal spacings between urban arterials so as to minimize the sum of travel and construction costs, subject to the hypothesis that a trip assignment follows the Wardrop's first principle. The proposed approach is not the genera method for determining an efficient network layout, but can be used as basic concept for generating and evaluating urban road network alternatives. Given an O-D table and cost estimates the approach is able to outline at least in a qualitative sense the optimal spacings of urban arterial roads.

The Korean military is aware that EA(Enterprise Architecture) is an important tool for transforming national defense and building Korean NCW, being developing the Ministry of National Defense Enterprise Architecture(MND-EA). However, unlike the importance of MND-EA, they are building MND-EA without the explicit EA governance system Many researchers have emphasized that it is difficult to develop the useful EA without EA governance. In this study, we present the EA governance framework for implementing the effective MND-EA. Through the investigation of the state of EA development and EA governance of home and abroad public institutions, we recognize the importance of EA governance, identifying the EA governance components. We set up the basic governance model consisted of principle, organization and process, designing the MND-EA governance framework by mapping the model to governance scope and target. The proposed governance framework provides direction for explicit and formal MND-EA governance system.

In this study, the effects of stand planting density on parameters of stand height and basal area growth models were investigated. We used the Korf equation as the base model in estimating the parameters of the growth models for cryptomeria plantation forest stands. Then, in order to investigate the effects of the change in plantation density on the parameter estimates, the "extra sums of square" principle, which provided a reasonable statistical procedure for a performance test, was used. The results of the test coincide with the understandings that stand height growth is not affected significantly by the planting density and the growth curves of stand basal area approaches a common asymptote regardless of the stand density for a given site. However, the shapes of the basal area growth curves were affected significantly by the planting density. Based on the results of the test, we developed a basal area growth model to account for the effects of initial planting density in cryptomeria plantation forest stands.

This paper introduces an observable connection structure between stocks in Korean stock market and investigates the formation principles of the observed connection structure between stocks in economic views. Several recent studies have been attempting to explain that the connection structure between stocks is organized by Power-Law distribution, this implies that most stocks have a few links, but only a few stocks have very large number of links. Therefore, we want to investigate the reason about why the connection structure between stocks exhibited by Mantegna's approach is Power-Law distribution. As a result we found that the number of connection between stocks is determined by market factors and specific firm factors among many other factors. In addition, if a stock is more affected by common factors(market) than specific firm factors, the stock has large number of links with other stocks, otherwise more affected by specific firm factors, the stock has a few links.

Most of designers use applied software of computer programs instead of traditional tools such as brushes, poster colors, etc. for drawing and designing. For example applied software programs for design are applied the workings printing, presentation, movie, animation, character design as well as industrial design. Especially, quality of applied software programs in the field of visual communication design influence on the design results in future. Therefore, many college attempt to invest budget to inhrence the quality of software program in design education. However, effectiveness of investment is lowered due to the professional lack of software knowledge. This study tries to explore how the investment for software program in visual communication design becomes more effective, and to suggest how the order of software program, design curriculum through the affective computer usage in design education will be more useful than now. By comparing and contrasting the different cases in the computer environments of the colleges, this study was processing, the result of this study will contribute to the design education of visual communication.

최근 몇년간 국립수의과학검역원에서 조사한 바에 따르면, 국내 젖소에서 유방염을 일으키는 주된 원인균은 황색포도상구균을 제외하고는 거의 대부분 젖소의 환경으로부터 유래하는 환경성 세균에 의한 것으로 확인된 바 있다. 국내 젖소의 유방염 원인균으로 작용하고 있는 이러한 환경성 세균 중 coagulase-음성 포도상구균 (Coagulase-negative Staphylococci, CNS)과 E. coli 등의 그람 음성균이 가장 많은 비율을 차지하였지만 그 외에 Streptococcus uberis를 비롯한 환경성 연쇄상 구균과 장구균도 상당한 비율을 차지하는 것으로 조사되었으며 이에 대해서는 지난 9월호에서도 상세히 기술한 바 있다. 환경성 연쇄상구균과 장구균은 젖소에서 유선감염 및 임상형 유방염의 중요한 원인이며 환경성 연쇄상구균 중 가장 흔히 발견되는 유방염 원인체는 Streptococcus uberis 로서, 이는 국내에서뿐만 아니라 미국, 유럽, 뉴질랜드, 호주 등에서 수행된 많은 연구결과에서도 마찬가지로 나타났다. 장구균 중 가장 흔히 분리되는 균종은 E. faecium과 E. faecalis로서 검역원에서 지난 몇 년간 조사된 결과에서도 이 두 가지 균 종이 유방염우유에서 분리된 장구균의 90% 이상을 차지하였다. 이러한 환경성 연쇄상구균과 장구균은 사람과 동물의 장관, 분변, 감염된 유방 및 전체적인 목장 환경에서 분리되고 있다. 장구균은 일반적으로 환경성 연쇄상구균/장구균 유방염 감염증 중의 일부일뿐이고 장구균에 의한 유방염이 목장의 주된 문제가 되는 일은 비교적 드물다. 현재, 장구균에 의해 발생하는 유방염은 S. uberis를 통제하기 위해 사용되는 방법과 동일한 방법으로 통제할 수 있다고 여겨진다. 원인체에 상관없이 유방염을 통제하기 위한 기본적인 원칙은 유방염을 일으킬 수 있는 병원체에 유두끝이 노출되는 기회를 줄이거나 감염에 대한 젖소의 저항성을 증가시키는 두 가지 방법이다. 역으로 얘기하면, 병원체에 대한 유두끝 노출을 증가시키거나 감염에 대한 젖소의 저항성을 감소시키는 요인들은 우군 내에서 더 많은 유방염을 발생시킬 가능성이 높기 때문에 위험요인으로 간주된다. 본 고에서는 환경성 연쇄상구균에 의한 유방염과 관련이 있는 것으로 알려진 이러한 여러 가지 위험요인들에 대해 알아보고 그러한 위험요인을 줄일 수 있는 방법에 대해서도 고찰하고자 한다.

The CEDA(Certified E-Document Authority) is a reliable third party that deposit electronic document having legal effects securely, and verify contents of document or transmission. This paper focuses on a function of secure transmission among several important functions, and implements public key encryption system for secure transmission when server and user communicate for image transmission. This paper follows a standard fundamental rule of X.509 in ITU-T, and it uses symmetric encryption algorithm to raise speed of a large data operation. A key of symmetric encryption algorithm is encrypted by private key in public key system, it protects to be modified using digital signature for data integrity. Also it uses certificates for mutual authentication.
