Among the auxiliary sciences of history field in the KDC 5th edition, several classification system problems are found with the fields of Archaeology, Diplomatics, Archival Science, Genealogy, and Biography. The purpose of this study is to propose their improvements. To achieve this purpose, first, this study compared and analyzed the Auxiliary Sciences of History field of LCC, DDC, KDC, NDC, UDC, CLC. Second, this study investigated the actual conditions of KDC in the library field to diagnose several application problems. Finally, based on the findings, the improvements of KDC were suggested.

This study investigated the interactions between archives and users based on content analysis of posts of Facebook and Twitter operated by archival institutions. It focused on posts in official Facebooks and Twitters of the U.S. and the U.K. national archives. The posts included 66 in Facebook and 670 in Twitter of the U.S. national archives, as well as 73 in Facebook and 84 in Twitter of the U.K. national archive. The analysis showed that information sharing of in-house collections and online resources, as well as information dissemination of events were the most common interaction types of the posts. 1 and 1 communication or information gathering such as questionnaire or vote rarely happened. In addition, the extent of users' responses was great on posts regarding information sharing of in-house collections. Providing information about people or events with timely manners motivated interests and participations of users. It is necessary to consider various types of interactions that facilitate user engagement. It is also important to make efforts to provide timely records in connection with exiting web resources and a variety of social media provided by archival institutions.

Flesh fungi were collected during field trips to mountain areas throughout the country from May to October of 1994. Through the observation and identification of specimens belonging to the Aphyllophorales, one genus, Tylospora, and six species, Athelia fibulata, Hypochnicium punctulatum, Tylospora fibrillosa, Stereum ochraceo-flavum, Steccherinum litschaueri, and Oligoporus undosus were confirmed new to Korea and are registered here with descriptions.

Yeonhaengrok is a document recorded by one member of the envoy sent to the China from 17 to 19 century. Ik-mo Lee, a member of the envoy, wrote a full explanation of the visit from Nov. 24 1796 to Mar. 7 1797 in his writing $\ulcorner$Byongjin Yeonhaengrok${\lrcorner}$. $\ulcorner$Byongjin Yeonhaengrok${\lrcorner}$, which is omitted in the complete collection of $\ulcorner$Yeonhaengrok${\lrcorner}$, has been newly found at the Family of Suwon Baek's house locating at the Sanggum Vil., Yongsan Town, Jangheung County of Chonnam Province. $\ulcorner$Byongjin Yeonhaengrok${\lrcorner}$ contains an historical meaning that it is an official record of the official envoy that was sent first after the Injong's enthronement in China. This study observed the bibliographical features of $\ulcorner$Byongjin Yeonhaengrok${\lrcorner}$, the time of the transcription, the progress of receiving by the Suwon Baek family. And certified the details of the Byongjin envoy, going and returning between Hanyang and Beijing, staying schedules of the envoy in Beijing.

As cloud computing becomes more and more popular and ubiquitous, many organizations are deciding to move their whole information infrastructure to the cloud. The healthcare industry is one of those that is beginning to utilize cloud-based solutions en masse. Cloud based computing and storage offers numerous benefits including scalability, cost efficiency, and accessibility, which in turn have the potential to streamline hospital operations. Despite the potential benefits of acquiring this system, considerations must still be given to the migration of the massive amounts of personal and highly protected data to a cloud-based solution. Health care organizations must consider all matters of security, reliability, and availability, to ensure that patients' data remains compliant to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliant. This paper will examine the benefits and challenges of such operation to determine the best practices for the utilization of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) cloud based networking and storage for small to mid-sized hospitals.

This study aims to develop digital archives for honam catholic history institute. To achive the goal, this study considers historical archives of honam catholic history institute. Also, this study proposed an effective archiving method based on OSS(open source software) for contents collection, management, preservation and service. Archiving of local cultural contents can contribute to the local development along with cultural industry policy. This study performed interview with people in charge of management of archives to extract general requirements for implementation of local archives. With the results, this study limitations of current archives management and considerations of implementation of local archives. This study proposed a method to effectively solve the limitations through the processes.

From the past to the present, collecting and managing collections have been one of the main functions of art museums. Museum work has focused on artworks rather than visual arts materials. Consequently, the importance of visual arts materials has tended to be undervalued, and due to persistent problems such as a lack of budget and space, the collection and management of these materials have not been easy. Furthermore, the unique nature of visual arts materials in terms of their types, sources, and distribution systems poses challenges for collecting them. Establishing a collection policy is the most fundamental and essential approach to addressing these difficulties. However, most domestic institutions collecting visual arts materials operate without a collection policy. This study aims to improve this situation by examining the current state of collecting visual arts materials at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea, a prominent art museum in South Korea, to identify problems. It then analyzes overseas cases to draw implications. Based on these findings, the study proposes measures to improve current regulations and establish a collection policy for enhancing the collection of visual arts materials.

This paper seeks to know a out the 'University and College Archives', which are to be established under the provision of 'the Law on the Management of the Institutions', and briefly mention the relation with the library, looking into the concept and backgrounds of archives. The enactment of the law became the ground to establish but there is no practical guidelines on the structure, formation, management, and contents of archives, even worse, people do not know well what the archives is. Therefore, I think so know about academic archives should start understanding basic concept, meaning, and necessities of the archives. In Europe, university archives have been established from 1830s, after the other archives had been established. In America, universities, which had been grown owe to the rapid economic development and the increasing of high educated people, began to establish their archives as a way to invest to improve their being and promote continuing growth. This is to prove their being and value in the society by collecting and preserving records and documents produced in the development of universities. Therefore, university archives can be said that it is the receiving agency for the producers of the university records, researching functional purpose, contents of university records, and relation with other institutions or records. This is the very difference from university libraries as collecting agencies. Nevertheless, university libraries and archives can help each other to activate their functions and improve their positions in universities through cooperating for the policy of digital records preserving and approaching them because the tendency of informationization forces universities to stand on various information resources to serve for routine university works. Each institutions of universities needs archival records due to various reasons. It is especially necessary to preserve and manage archival records to prove the confidence of records.

The purpose of this study is analyze physical and textual characteristics on an epigraph, the Memorial Stone of Yun Gwm(尹? 誌石). This was edited by Kim Yeon-Su. On the view of physical point, the Memorial Stone is made of black stone and its size is 25.0cm high, 31.0cm wide, and 2.5cm thick. On the view of textual point the text of Memorial Stone is about the career of Yun Gwan, and the printed style of writing is by depressed engraving on both side black stone plane.

The mesomyarian and acontiarian actiniaria in Korean waters are identified into 11 species, 11 genera and 8 families. Among them, the following five species are newly recorded to Korean fauna: Isanthus capensis Carlgren; Actinostola carlgreni Wassilieff; Stomphia coccinea (Muller); Parasicyonis actinostoloides (Wassilieff); and Metridium senile (Linnaeus). They are redescribed in detail with figures, and the others are examined and discussed.
