  • In this paper, we examined the problems of the flare operation of tactic maneuvering flight of fighter aircraft with 150GL center external fuel tank and proposed the possible solution of it's operation. The damage scope of horizontal fin of fuel tank and flare trajectory when the flare ejected from the maneuvering aircraft were analyzed by the wind tunnel test and the numerical analysis. We investigated the two different option to avoid the damage of fin; i) the adjustment of flare dispenser angle and ii) the change of horizontal fin's shape. For the considering of practical operation of present system, we chose the second option. We estimated the drop safety of external fuel tank with redesigned fin by the wind tunnel experiments.

  • This study examines the effects of members' legislative performance on their renominations in the $19^{th}$ Korean National Assembly. We measure how many bills each member has proposed and passed in the Assembly. In addition, we also include rate of passing bills as an indicator of legislative performance. Particularly, we analyze 320 members in total, and 270 members who got in on the competition for nomination separately. The empirical findings of our study show that, firstly, among the total members in the Assembly, as they propose bills more and pass bills fewer, they are more likely to be renominated in the very next election. However, this is a result of different types of members rather than legislative performance. Secondly, among the members who actually competed for renomination, the legislative performance of members can not affect their renomination. Therefore, we argue that it is necessary to stipulate nominations criteria and transform top-down nomination method to bottom-up one in order to raise responsiveness and enhance representative democracy.

  • Changes in volatile organic compounds were investigated during storage after electron beam irradiation. Grapes were irradiated at 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, and 1.0 kGy and stored for 1 month at $4^{\circ}C$. Butanol, hexanal, [E]-2-hexenal, hexanol, and 3-methyl-butanol were the major volatile organic compounds of grapes. The types of volatiles in irradiated grapes were similar to those of non-irradiated samples but concentration differed among treatments. Some volatile compounds decreased during storage, whereas others, especially the esters, increased. Concentration of most volatile compounds were higher in pre-stored grapes than in post-stored fruit (thus, during the 30 days after irradiation by e-beam). Consequently, concentration of volatile organic compounds either increased or decreased after e-beam irradiation but these changes did not correlate with irradiation dose.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the satisfaction level of regular safety education to reduce and prevent accidents of forest workers. To achieve this goal, a questionnaire survey targeting 362 members of forest working group in National Forestry Cooperative Federation on the status of safety education, requirements for improving safety education, and satisfaction level of safety education. As a result of the analysis, the majority of the respondents said that the safety education should be improved by adding more training related to forestry work and practical education rather than the current lecture. In the effective safety education cycle, 43.8% of respondents said that the most effective once a week, and the most important factors that affect the satisfaction of safety education were the safety method and teaching ability, which were statistically significant.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of leader-member exchange(LMX) on employees' creativity, and task performance focusing on the mediating effect of information sharing and job involvement. Based on the review of related references, we suggested our research model and hypothesis and then tested empirically. From these analyses, we can find some significant findings. First, LMX has a positive impact on information sharing. Second, information sharing has a positive impact on job involvement, creativity, and task performance. Third, information sharing has significant mediating effects on the relationship between LMX and job involvement, creativity, and task performance. Fourth, job involvement also has significant mediating effects on the relationship between information sharing and creativity and task performance. These results showed that information sharing and job involvement played their role as a meaningful mediator.

  • This study is to examine a relation between coal mining subsidence occurrence at abandoned underground coal mines and underground goaf with respect to surface geology, subsurface structure, depth and thickness of coal beds and the distribution of drifts. A study is carried out at the site where susceptibility of coal mining subsidence was proven high in a previous study. In that previous study, the susceptibility of coal mining subsidence was spatially analyzed by GIS using digitized geological maps, investigation reports, digitized mining tunnel maps without consideration of subsurface structure and the multi-level arrangement of drifts. Here we analyze geological characteristics around the goaf and the distribution of coal seam based upon digitized geological maps and investigation reports on the study area. And digitized mining tunnel maps are also used to analyze the depth and multi-level arrangement of drifts. The results show that weakened surface rock strength, relatively shallow depth and large thickness of coal seam below the surface are closely related to the coal mining subsidence occurrence. Complicatedly inter-connected drifts, shallow depth of drifts and surface rock fractures are revealed as additional control factors affecting coal mining subsidence. These factors examined in this study as well as original factors should be taken into account for the quantitative estimation of coal mining subsidence occurrence at abandoned underground coal mine.

  • Recently, diversification of social environment forces a fire administration new works. It is the development of Blue Ocean that a vision and substantive object the fire authority should pursuit. Now I recommend a variety of alternatives from the analysis of a survey of students who major in the fire or related fields, through the example of 120 service call program and police unit to discover new works. We should reclaim the name of department and promote life-contractive business with utilizing infra in the organization to get an remarkable success and reclaim Blue Ocean.

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was to investigate activities-specific balance confidence and risk of fallings among rehabilitation patients with impaired of mobility, and to identify the influence of activities-specific balance confidence on their risk of fallings. Method: Data for 132 rehabilitation patients were collected between October June 20 and August 20, 2012 at nine hospitals in a metropolitan city. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression with SPSS/WIN 20.0. Result: The mean score for rehabilitation patients' activities-specific balance confidence was 40.18 out of a possible range of 0-100 and the mean score for risk of fallings among rehabilitation patients was 31.10 within a possible range of 0-125. Significant factors affecting the risk of fallings among the rehabilitation patients were 'activity level', 'dementia', 'body mass index', 'anxiety', and 'presence of a caregiver', which together explained 34.7% of the variance. The most significantly factor influencing rehabilitation patients' risk of fallings was activities-specific balance confidence which explained 23.5% of the variance. Conclusion: The study results indicate that activities-specific balance confidence as well as physical factors should be considered for interventions to decrease risk of fallings in rehabilitation patients with impaired mobility.

  • This paper presents the improvement of tracking performance using fuzzy inference system based task prioritizations for multi-function radars. The presented technique calculates elemental priorities using track information of a target and obtain the total priority from fuzzy inference system of each fuzzy set's membership function. In this paper, we proposed the task prioritization algorithms based on fuzzy inference system, and evaluated the tracking performance on multi-function radar scenario using it. As a result, we confirmed that excellent performance could be achieved when using the proposed algorithm.

  • Due to the active progress in space programs for various types of ground and space missions, the high agile spacecraft maneuverability is also required. To meet the requirement of the given space missions, the Control Moment Gyros (CMG) for the alternatives of the classical reaction wheels can release the attitude maneuverability restrictions. In addition, the angular rates of the spacecraft is constrained due to the limited actuator characteristics. In this paper, a sliding mode control technique for the attitude control of the spacecraft equipped with the pyramid type of CSCMG(Constant Speed CMG) is designed, and the stability of the control system is guaranteed by using the Lyapunov stability theory. Finally, the control law proposed is analyized by numertical simulations.
