A Study on the Mitigation of Taxi Supply and Demand Discrepancy by Adjusting Expected Revenues of Platform Taxi Calls (택시호출 간 기대수익 조정을 통한 택시 수급불일치 완화방안 연구)

  • As smartphones spread and ICT technologies develop, taxi services have changed from hovering to platform-based calls and reservations. This has improved the mobility and accessibility of taxi users but caused problems, such as digital observing (no-responses to calls) for either short-distance services or services during the peak-demand periods. Digital Observing means ignoring and not accepting calls when they occur, which require improvement. Therefore, this study aims to derive measures to mitigate discrepancies in taxi supply and demand by adjusting the expected revenue of each taxi service using reinforcement learning based on the Taxi operation data. The results confirmed that the average complete response rate to calls would increase from 50.29% to 54.24% when incentives are applied, and an improvement of 5.86% can be achieved in short-distance sections of less than 5,000 won incentives. It is expected that the improvement will increase profitability for drivers, reduce the waiting time for passengers, and improve satisfaction with taxi services overall.

  • 일상생활 속에 익숙하게 자리 잡은지 오래인 모바일 폰은 이미 고유의 기능인 음성통화와 문자메시지에 대한 서비스가 포화상태 이르러 새로운 수익 창출산업으로 무선인터넷서비스가 각광받고 있는 실정이나, 초기 사용자들에게 부정적인 기대 불일치 경험을 누적시켜 소극적인 사용이나, 사용회피를 유도하는 등 아직까진 기대 이하의 성적을 거두고 있는 실정이다. 예상을 뛰어넘는 과도한 요금에 놀라 이후 무선인터넷 사용을 꺼리게 된 경험이나, 청소년들의 무분별한 무선인터넷 사용에 따른 사고 등 폐해들에 대한 기사 등은 이미 낯설거나 놀라운 뉴스가 아니며, 이러한 직 간접경험들로 인해 아예 무선인터넷을 경험해보고자 시도조차 하지 않는 잠재고객 또한 많은 것이 사실이다. 본 논문에선 설문과 실험을 통해 현재 모바일 사용자들의 무선인터넷 서비스에 대한 기대, 사용 패턴, 만족도 및 바램과 요금체계에 대한 이해도 등을 조사하고, ‘불확실성 회피성향’이 사용회피에 미치는 역효과를 증명하여, 요금체계와 관련한 서비스업계의 개선 방향 제시에 연구목적을 가진다.

Consumer Satisfaction and Behavioral Intention for Medical Services (종합병원 의료서비스에 대한 소비자만족과 행위의도)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine if expectation, performance, and disconfirmation are related to consumer satisfaction and behavioral intention. The major findings were as follows: First, among the four dimensions of the medical services, the level of consumer satisfaction was highest with 'doctors' and lowest with 'facilities' while the level of importance was highest with 'doctors' and lowest with 'medical systems' Second, ability to predict behavioral intention can best be improved with regression coefficient weights among the six measures of consumer satisfaction. Third, greater satisfaction was significantly associated with performance and disconfirmation while behavioral intention was significantly associated with expectations, performance, and discoufirmation.

The Expectation Dilemma of Customer Satisfaction Model : A Unified Model of Expectancy Disconfirmation and Diffusion (고객만족모형의 기대 딜레마 : 확산과 기대불일치의 통합모형)

  • Many firms try to enhance the customer satisfaction, because they believe that higher customer satisfaction leads to superior returns. According to expectancy disconfirmation model, consumers judge the satisfaction in comparison with their expectations about the product performance. If the performance is above the expectations, increase in satisfaction is expected. If the performance is below the expectations, decrease in satisfaction is expected. This explanation contradicts our beliefs that higher expectation leads to consumer's choices. To address the contradiction, this paper present a unified model which combines the expectancy disconfirmation model with the well-known diffusion model. The unified model shows that the expectation can increase the choices even if the expectation decreases the satisfaction.

  • This study aims to analyze the relationship between the expectation of franchisees to their franchisers before contracting and perceived performance after actually operation. The analysis data was collected from 789 franchisees located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do of South Korea. The findings are as followings: first, the gap between expectation of franchisees and perceived performance was negative and it becomes an necessary for franchise managers to manage the expectation of franchisees by using various effective marketing strategies. Second, the gaps were different among different franchise industrial classifications and the gap in the food-service industry is the largest.

  • This paper is made an analysis as to how much influence is affected to the residential satisfaction by information search and expectancy conformity/nonconformity. The above mentioned analysis results in that information search and expectancy conformity/nonconformity appear to be influential factors to explain the residential satisfaction after purchase. Especially, the more the expectancy of pre-purchase and the performance of post-purchase equal, the higher the residential satisfaction. In addition, even if a slight difference emerges in the domain of the residential satisfaction, it appears that the more information search is conducted, the higher the residential satisfaction and information from salesman or reference group affect on the expectancy conformity/nonconformity. When purchasing housing, to search more information shows that the expectancy of pre-purchase gets close to the performance of the post-purchase, that is to say, to the positive residential satisfaction.

  • 최근 소프트웨어 업계의 화두로 등장하고 있는 정보기술은 오픈소스 소프트웨어(Open Source Software: OSS)이다. 하지만, 사용자의 많은 관심에도 불구하고 지금까지 오픈소스 소프트웨어에 대한 연구는 정성적이거나, 탐색적인 연구로 한정되었다. 사용자 관점에서 왜 오픈소스 소프트웨어에 만족하고, 나아가 지속적으로 이 기술을 사용 하는지에 대한 실증적 연구는 아주 미미하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 오픈소스 소프트웨어의 성공모델을 제안하는 대신 사용자의 만족에 그치지 않고 지속적인 사용으로 이끄는 영향요소에 대해 실증적으로 증명하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 Oliver(1980)의 기대불일치이론 (Expectation Disconfirmation Theory: EDT)을 근거로 한 Bhattacherjee(2001)의 정보시스템 수용 후 행동 모델을 연구모형의 기초로 소프트웨어 특성(사용용이성, 유지보수성, 호환성, 맞춤화, 상호 작용성)의 영향을 제안하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 개인 및 기업의 오픈소스 소프트웨어 활성화를 촉진시키는데 기여하는데 그 의의가 있다.

An Enhanced Fuzzy ART Algorithm for The Identifier Recognition from Shipping Container Image (운송 컨테이너 영상의 식별자 인식을 위한 개선된 퍼지 ART 알고리즘)

  • 퍼지 ART 알고리즘에서 경계 변수는 패턴들을 클러스터링하는데 있어서 반지름 값이 되며 임의의 패턴과 저장된 패턴과의 불일치(mismatch) 허용도를 결정한다. 이 경계 변수가 크면 입력 벡터와 기대 벡터 사이에 약간의 차이가 있어도 새로운 카테고리(category)로 분류하게 핀다. 반대로 경계 변수가 작으면 입력 벡터와 기대 벡터 사이에 많은 차이가 있더라도 유사성이 인정되어 입력 벡터들을 대략적으로 분류한다. 따라서 영상 인식에 적용하기 위해서는 경험적으로 경계 변수를 설정해야 단점이 있다. 그리고 연결 가중치를 조정하는 과정에서 저장된 패턴들의 정보들이 손실되는 경우가 발생하여 인식율을 저하시킨다. 된 논문에서는 퍼지 ART 알고리즘의 문제점을 개선하기 위하여 퍼지 논리 접속 연산자를 이용하여 경계 변수를 동적으로 조정하고 저장 패턴들과 학습 패턴간의 실제적인 왜곡 정도를 충분히 고려하여 승자 노드로 선택된 빈도수를 가중치 조정에 적용한 개선된 퍼지 ART 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법의 성능을 확인하기 위해서 실제 운송 컨테이너 영상들을 대상으로 실험한 결과, 기존의 ART2 알고리즘이나 퍼지 ART 알고리즘보다 클러스터의 수가 적게 생성되었고 인식 성능도 기존의 방법들보다 우수한 성능이 있음을 확인하였다.

Consumer Satisfaction/Dissatisfaction and Complaining Behavior of Clothing Cable TV Rome Shoppers (케이블 TV 홈쇼핑을 통한 의류 구매시 소비자 만족/불만족 및 불평행동 연구)

  • This research aimed to examine consumer's expectancy disconformation related to purchase satisfaction/dissatisfaction and post-purchase behavior in cable TV home shopping. A total of 700 questionnaires were randomly sent to cable TV home shoppers and 172 copies were used in final analysis. Frequency analysis. correlation analysis, analysis of variance, regression analysis, path analysis, and multinominal logit were used. The expectancy discoformation on \"fitting\" and \"how well the clothes suits oneself\" were significantly related to the complaint behavior of return and refund. TV home shoppers tended to express their complaints by requesting the home shopping company or the manufacture company for a compensation rather than express privately such as warning friends, stop buying and boycotting the item. The significant variables that would influence consumers to seek refund rather than exchange were purchase satisfaction, request of compensation to the company, overall expectancy disconformation and expectancy disconformation on decoration and details and suiting oneself.

A Study on Effects of Customer Satisfaction and Transaction Characteristics on Customers Relationship-Orientation (관계지향성에 대한 고객만족과 거래성향의 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This study is to confirm how customers relationship-orientation toward the focal company has been constructed by what factors. The major factors are including the level of customer satisfaction and four components of transaction-characteristics like efficiency of decision making, inertia of decision making, information-seeking in store, and perceived risk. For testing of the hypotheses, customer survey has been conducted at four department stores and three discount stores in the Bundang Area. The sample size is 494. The result of the survey has indicated that customers relationship-orientation is influenced by customer satisfaction, efficiency of decision making, and inertia of decision making, but not by information-seeking in store and perceived risk. Further research has been needed for solving these conflicting results.
