현재 통신 시장의 상황은 유무선 통신서비스 시장의 포화, 이동통신 시장의 기존 유선전화 규모 초과, 그리고 유선통신의 서비스 사업자의 영역 확대 도모 등을 특징으로 한다. 유무선 통합 (Fixed Mobile Convergence, FMC) 서비스는 유선통신 사업자를 중심으로 한 비즈니스 모델로 사용자에게 유무선 통신망 종류에 상관없이 일관되고 끊김없는 서비스를 제공하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이동통신망까지 확대하여 고객 기반을 유지하고자 하는 유선사업자들은 FMC 서비스 중 하나의 방안으로 IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystems) 기반의 VCC(Voice Call Continuity) 기능에 주목하고 있다. VCC AS(Application Server)는 이종망 (WiFi-CDMA)간 Seamless 핸드오버기능을 수행하므로, WiFi 와 CDMA를 지원할 수 있는 듀얼단말을 이용하여 사용자가 WiFi 서비스 지역과 CDMA 서비스 지역간 이동시에도 Seamless 한 음성서비스를 제공한다. 이에 본 논문은 IMS/VCC 기반으로 음성 seamless 핸드오버 적용 사례(시범서비스)를 중심으로 유무선 통신사업자 상호 Win-Win을 추구할 수 있는 LG데이콤 특화 VCC 모델을 제시한다. 그리고 LG데이콤이 추구하는 차세대 서비스인 사용자 context 기반의 개인화된 서비스 제공을 위한 IMS 기반 통합 프로파일/인증/과금 연구 동향에 대해 간략히 소개한다.

대용량 인사데이터를 통합적으로 처리하기 위한 인적자원관리시스템(Human Resource Manager System)이나 ERP 등이 기업의 IT 환경에 보편적으로 적용되며 활용되고 있다. 그러나 기본적으로 인적 자원(Human Resource)의 막대한 데이터의 정보로부터 기업의 여러 조직단위의 통합 정산관리를 기존 방식의 인사급여 정산시스템으로는 다중적이고 다양한 조건과 사용자가 요구하는 각종 기능성 및 제한적 규칙 등으로 요구되는 사항을 충족시키며 처리하기에는 근본적인 한계를 갖고 있다. 그러므로 정보 시스템 구축은 통합적인 적용부분과 그리고 단계적인 조건들의 다중 지원이 선행되어야 한다. 본 논문은 이러한 복잡하고 다중적인 기준에 따른 조건들의 연관관계와 관련데이터를 효과적으로 처리할 수 있게 하는 방안으로 객체지향적 분석과 설계를 이용하여 세부기능들을 모듈화하였다. 또한 다양한 업무프로세스 변화에 유연하게 적용시킬 수 있는 방안을 구현하여, 사용자의 운영과 활용방안 측면으로 효율적인 구축 방안을 제시한다.

인터렉티브 디지털 TV 는 기존의 텔레비전 기능에 인터넷 기능을 결합함으로써 TV 를 이용한 전자상거래, VOD 서비스, 표적 광고 등을 가능하게 한다. 이와 같은 서비스를 위해서는 TV 용 웹브라우저가 필수적인 응용 프로그램으로 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 일반 웹 컨텐트의 브라우징 기능 뿐만아니라 디지털 TV 의 데이터 방송 수신 기능이 포함된 디지털 TV 용 웹브라우저의 설계를 소개한다. 본 웹브라우저의 설계에서는 실시간 오디오/비디오 플레이어와의 연결성을 고려하였고 WebPIP, TV오버레이 등을 통한 방송 컨텐트와 웹 컨텐트의 통합 기능이 추가되었다.

본 논문에서는 계통연계형 인버터에서 요구되는 전력품질 개선 기능, 부하수요관리 기능, 무정전전원공급 기능 등을 전류제어형 전압원 인버터 시스템에서 통합적으로 수행할 수 있는 UPS를 고려한 계통연계형 전류제어 인버터를 제안한다. 제안된 시스템은 평상시에는 무효전력 보상, 고조파 저감, 부하수요관리 등의 PCS(Power Conditioning System) 기능을 수행하고 계통 고장시에는 배터리에 저장된 에너지를 이용하여 부하에 즉시 정전압을 공급하는 UPS 기능을 수행한다. 본 연구에서는 제안된 시스템의 동작원리 및 제어 알고리즘을 이론적으로 해석하고 시뮬레이션을 통하여 유용성을 확인한다.

인터넷 상에서의 다양한 멀티미디어 응용 및 정보 서비스의 요구가 급증하게 되고, 이에 따른 효율적인 운영 및 서비스에 대한 표준 기술의 개발 또한 활발히 진행되게 되었다. 이에 1998년 W3C(World Wide Web Consortium)에서 웹 기반 동기화 된 멀티미디어 통합 언어인 SMIL이 제안되었다. 선언적 마크업 언어인 XML(eXtended Markup Language)에 기반을 둔 SMIL은 웹 상에서의 멀티미디어 프리젠테이션을 위한 다양한 기능들을 제공하지만, SMIL 또한 HTML(HyperText Language)과 같은 태그 기반 마크업 언어이므로 각 태그의 사용법을 숙지하여 텍스트 편집기를 이용한 비효율적인 저작에 치중되어 있었다. 이에 SMIL 응용업무에서의 효율적 활용을 위한 SMIL 전용 저작도구의 필요성이 대두되었고, 국내외에서의 활발한 연구 개발이 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 UML(Unified Modeling Language) 표기법에 기반 한 객체지향 모델링 툴을 사용하여 체계적인 소프트웨어 설계에 따른 SMIL 저작도구를 구현하였다. 템플릿 기능의 지원으로 효율적이고 편리한 SMIL 컨텐츠 생성을 위하여 인턴넷 망(network)의 대역폭에 따른 저작이 가능하도록 구현되었으며, 미리 보기 기능을 활용한 멀티미디어 데이터의 직관적이 운영을 지원하도록 구현하였다.

본 논문에서는 초 중등학교 종합정보관리 시스템을 개선하는 한 방법으로 장비관리 행정시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 이 시스템에서는 시설 장비의 위치정보와 관리정보가 CAD 도면상에서 통합되어 양자간의 일관성이 보장된다. 구현된 장비관리 행정시스템은 AutoCAD 도면에 저장된 BOM 정보를 데이터베이스에 저장하는 기능, 데이터베이스에 저장된 정보를 이용하여 장비의 각종 현황을 조회할 수 있는 기능, 구매요청서를 작성하는 기능, 작성된 구매요청서를 행정라인에서 전자결재하는 기능, 구매요청서를 공문서 양식으로 인수하는 기능 등을 포함하고 있다.

오늘날 대부분의 컴퓨터 시스템에 대한 사이버 공격은 특정 어플리케이션이 제기능을 발휘하지 못하도록 하기 위한 의도로 행해진다. 이러한 사이버 공격을 방어하기 위한 현행 정보보호시스템은 어플리케이션으로의 접근을 보호하는 기능을 갖는 형태로 하드웨어, 네트워크, 운영체제 등의 인프라를 보호하기 위한 시스템이 대부분이다. 본 논문은 사이버 공격에도 불구하고 어플리케이션이 서비스를 지속할 수 있는 침입감내시스템을 제안하고 설계 구현하였다. 제안 시스템은 어플리케이션의 기능과 침입감내 기능을 분리하고 다양한 보안 메커니즘을 통합하고 있는 미들웨어 기반의 시스템이다. 일상 생활에 많은 영향을 미치는 중요한 서비스인 경우에는 시스템의 기능 중 서비스의 지속성이 가장 중요하다. 제안한 침입감내 시스템은 향후 침입감내기능이 필요한 국방, 의료, 금융 시스템과 같은 사회기반시스템의 구축에 많은 부분이 활용될 것으로 생각한다.

As adopting ubiquitous technology into civil engineering, new city model is suggested called U-City. This paper proposes the framework of U-City management center to support effective services operation. The aims of the framework are to provide the development and operation environment for U-City services. Basically, these objectives are achieved by adopting the semantic web service technology to the framework. In this paper, OWL-S is mainly conducted to represent the description of U-City services. In addition, this paper insists that fine grained unit services are required to guarantee reusability, compatibility, and scalability of the services on U-City management center. The documentations conducted by OWL-S are provided as an example of service descriptions. At the last section, this paper also presents the architecture of U-City management center which enables automatic service discovery, selection, composition and interoperation.

As a theoretical background for this research, the literatures which focus on teaching and loaming of connecting with mathematics and science were investigated. And the rationale of integrated curriculum on the basis of the 7th mathematics curriculum and the goal of mathematics education and the forms of integrated curriculum and the integrated curriculum in foreign school were investigated. Depending on this review, the implement method of the integrated curriculum of mathematics and science in Korea school is suggested as the following: It requires designing inter-disciplinary into-grated problem or various teaching and learning materials which are based upon concept, skill, and principle by commonality found across the subject matter. Based on the analyses upon described above, three inter-disciplinary integrated teaching and learning materials were developed. And then, based on the case stud)', the research questions were analyzed in depth. Students could understand the developing process of linear function, develop the formula and grape representing the relationship between time and velocity, time and distance, and interpret realistic meaning of the slope.

SITES(Site Information and Total Environmental Data Management System) has been developed for the purpose of systematically managing site characteristics and environmental data produced during the pre-operational, operational, and post-closure phases of a radioactive waste disposal facility. SITES is an integration system, which consists of 4 modules, to be available for maintenance of site characteristics data, for safety assessment, and for site/environment monitoring; site environmental data management module(SECURE), integrated safety assessment module(SAINT), site/environment monitoring module(SUDAL) and geological information module for geological data management(SITES-GIS). Each module has its database with the functions of browsing, storing, and reporting data and information. Data from SECURE and SUDAL are interconnected to be utilized as inputs to SAINT. SAINT has the functions that multi-user can access simultaneously via client-server system, and the safety assessment results can be managed with its embedded Quality Assurance feature. Comparison between assessment results and environmental monitoring data can be made and visualized in SUDAL and SITES-GIS. Also, SUDAL is designed that the periodic monitoring data and information could be opened to the public via internet homepage. SITES has applied to the Wolsong low- and intermediate-level radioactive waste disposal center in Korea, and is expected to enhance the function of site/environment monitoring in other nuclear-related facilities and also in industrial facilities handling hazardous materials.
