Estimation Formula for Shear Strength of RCS Beam-Column Joint (RCS 보-기둥 접합부의 전단강도 산정식 평가)

  • This study is on the shear strength of the internal joints of RCS composite structure consisting of reinforced concrete column and steel beam. As a newly structure system, the composite system has been developed to fully utilize the advantages of reinforced concrete column and steel beam, which also include economic and practical joint detail. Nevertheless stress transfer mechanism and structural behavior of the joints had not been still clearly revealed and shown much difference from the proposed equation. In this study, by observing the crossing of reinforced concrete column through steel beam to the RCS structure beam type, thirty seven shear failure specimens were selected and applied to the 5 major equations which is used to calculate the shear strength of RCS joint. Through the regression analysis, modified equation which is more reliable and approximate results for shear strength of RCS joints was proposed.

The Improved Synthesis of 1-Chloro-2-iodoperfluorocycloalkenes and 2,2'-Dichloroperfluorocycloalkenyls (1-Chloro-2-iodoperfluorocycloalkenes와 2,2'-Dichloroperfluorocycloalkenyls 합성의 개량)

  • The preparation of 1-chloro-2-iodoperfluorocycloalkenes was achieved with a short reaction time and a high yield when the starting compound was iodinated via the metalation process using an alkyllithium reagent. Especially, the high yield of 1-chloro-2-iodo-perfluorocyclohexene was obtained when 1,2-dichloroperfluorocyclohexene was iodinated via the same reaction conditions. The coupling reaction of 1,2-dihaloperfluorocycloalkenes was also achieved with a lower reaction temperature and a shorter reaction time when the equal slurry mixture of fluorocycloolefines and DMF was reacted at a high pressure in a sublimer. The yield of the coupling product was greatly improved by this process. For a typical example, the coupling reaction of the 1-chloro-2-iodotetrafluorocyclobutene was proceeded with a higher yield of the product than that of the reported reaction, when the present method was adopted. A plausible reaction mechanism of the present coupling reactiont was proposed and the physical characteristics of the coupling product were confirmed.

  • 일본 우주항공연구개발기구(Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, JAXA)는 2007년부터 2017년까지 달 탐사선 셀레네(Selenological and Engineering Explorer, SelEnE)가 관측한 데이터를 수집하고, 연구했다. JAXA는 지구 상층 대기에 존재하는 산소가 자기장의 꼬리 부분에 실려 달로 이동한다는 사실을 발견했다. 하지만 이 연구는 아직 진행 중이며 달의 산화 과정 규명에 추가 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 생성적 적대 신경망(Generative Adversarial Networks, GAN)으로 달 분화구의 영구 그림자 영역을 제거하고, 물과 얼음을 발견하여 선행 연구의 완성도를 향상하고자 한다. 실험에 사용할 모델은 CIPS(Conditionally Independent Pixel Synthesis)다. CIPS는 실제 같은 영상을 고해상도로 합성한다. 합성할 데이터의 최적인 가중치 초기화 및 파라미터 갱신 방법, 활성 함수 조합은 실험을 통해 확인한다. 필요에 따라 앙상블 학습을 할 수도 있다. 성능평가는 FID(Frechet Inception Distance), 정밀도, 재현율을 사용한다. 제안한 방법은 진행 중인 연구의 시간과 비용을 절약하고, 인과관계를 더욱 명확히 밝히는 데 도움 될 수 있다고 사료된다.

  • The reproduction of marbled sole Limanda yokohamae, caught near around the southeastern coast of Korea, from December 1983 to November 1984, was investigated based on such annual variations as gonadosomatic index(GSL), gametogenesis, reproductive cycle, spawning number, hepatosomatic index (HSI), and fatness. GSI began to increase in the autumn season with the onset of shorter day length and colder water temperature, and reached the maximum value in December with the shortest day length and the lowest temperature over the year. The gonad activated the proliferation of oogonia and spermatogonia in June, reached the mature stage in October, ripe in December, and spawning from the end of December to January. After spawning, it showed the resting stage which gonad remained regressive and suppressive from February to May. In addition, the adult individuals observed discharged eggs only once during their spawning period. At yolk globular stage, the substance of vitellogenin synthesized from the liver was considered to participate in the active yolk accumulation of oocytes. Marbled sole was concluded to be a typical winter spawning species in that such environmental factors as short day length and low water temperature were closely related with the gametogenesis, the stimulation of oocyte maturation, and were also affecting the ovulation.

Effects of Activin on Testosterone-primed Immature Rainbow Trout Gonadotropin Release in vitro (Testosterone 처리한 미성숙 무지개송어 뇌하수체의 세포배양계에서 생식소자극초르몬 분비에 대한 Activin의 효과)

  • The present studies were conducted to evaluate the effects of activin-A on gonadotropins (GTHs) release in testosterone-treated immature rainbow trout Oncorhpynchus mykiss. The administration of testosterone elevated pituitary level of GTH II but not of GTH I. In this study using primary cultures of dispersed pituitary cells in static incubation, dose-dependent increases in GTH II release was observed in the activin-treated group at day 3 of incubation (long-term incubation), but not at day 1 of incubation (short-term incubation). Dopamine, a potent inhibitor of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH)-stimulated GTH II release in rainbow trout, was only partially effective in decreasing actvin-induced GTH II release. Furthermore, salmon GnRH (sGnRH)-stimulated GTH II release was not potentiated by the pretreatment with activin. However, the control mechanisms of GTH I release by activin and other hormones were not observed in the all tested experiments. The results of these studies support the contention that in contrast with the usual stimulatory effects of activin on GTH release in mammals, activin exerts long-term stimulatory actions on GTH II release in rainbow trout. The control mechanism of GTH I release, however, is a question that remains to be elucidated.

Morphology and Formation Mechanism of Sn Nanoparticles Synthesized by Modified Polyol Process at Various pH Values (변형 폴리올 공정에서 pH에 따라 합성된 Sn 나노입자의 형상 변화 및 형성기구)

  • To synthesize Sn nanoparticles (NPs) less than 30 nm in diameter, a modified polyol process was conducted at room temperature using a reducing agent, and the effects of different pH values of the initial solutions on the morphology and size of the synthesized Sn NPs were analyzed. tin(II) 2-ethylhexanoate, diethylene glycol, sodium borohydride, polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP), and sodium hydroxide were used as a precursor, reaction medium, reducing agent, capping agent, and pH adjusting agent, respectively. It was found by transmission electron microscopy that the morphology of the synthesized Sn NPs varied according to the pH of the initial solution. Moreover, while the size decreased to 11.32 nm with an increase up to 11.66 of the pH value, the size increased rapidly to 39.25 nm with an increase to 12.69. The pH increase up to 11.66 dominantly promoted generation of electrons and increased the amount of initial nucleation in the solution, finally inducing the reduced-size of the Sn particles. However, the additional increase of pH dominantly induced a decrease of PVP by neutralization, which resulted in acceleration of the agglomeration by collisions between particles.

항균재료용 은나노 입자/알루미늄 하이드록사이드 나노복합재 제조

  • 산업이 점차 발달함에 따라 발생하는 환경오염으로 인해 인간의 삶에 있어 불가분의 관계에 있는 물에 대한 관심이 지속적으로 높아지고 있는 추세이다. 각종 질병의 요인이 되는 박테리아는 주로 물을 운송 매개체로 하기 때문에 이로 인한 물의 오염으로 인도의 경우 모든 질병 발생의 80%를 차지하는 것으로 세계보건기구(WHO)에 의해 보고되었다. 현재까지물 또는 공기의 항균 및 살균 정화를 위해 화학적, 생물학적 방식 등 다양한 기술이 개발되었으나 박테리아와같은 세균제거에는 무리가 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 여러 물질 중에서도 특히 항균작용(Antibacterial activity)이 탁월한 은(Ag)을 나노입자화하여 in-situ 코팅을 통한 다공성 알루미늄 하이드록사이드 나노복합재의 제조함으로써 생물학, 생체의용공학, 약학 등에 응용될 수 있는 새로운 형태의 항균재료제조방법을 제안하였다. 우선, 다공성 알루미늄 하이드록사이드기판은 알루미늄 기판에 알칼리 표면개질을 실시함으로서 표면에 마이크로포어가 형성된 알루미늄 하이드록사이드 기판을 제조하였다. 이렇게 제조된 다공성 기판에 Polyol 공정으로 은나노입자를 합성 및 분산시킴으로서 in-situ로 은나노입자가 분산된 알루미늄 하이드록사이드 나노복합재 기판을 만들수 있었다. 본 연구를 통하여 제조된 은나노입자가 분산된 알루미늄 하이드록사이드 나노복합재 기판은 주사전자현미경(SEM) 및 투과전자현미경(TEM)을 통하여 미세구조와 상분석을 실시하였으며 X선 광전자분석(XPS)를 이용하여 기판 표면의 화학적 상태를 분석하였다.

  • 4절 기구를 이용한 크랭크식 식부 장치는 원하는 제적을 비교적 쉽게 합성할 수 있지만, 그 구조상 발생하는 가진력에 의해 주축의 최대 회전 속도가 약 300 rpm 전후로 작업 속도는 약 0.8 m/sec로 한정되어 있다. 이러한 단점을 보완하고 기계 이용 수익을 높이기 위해 편심 기어열을 이용한 고속, 저진동의 로터리식 식부 장치에 대한 연구가 1984년 일본에서 시작되었다. 로터리식 고속 식부 장치는 현재 대부분의 승용 이앙기에 채택되어 있으며 최고 1.2m/sec의 속도로 작업할 수 있다(산경정남, 1986; 산경정남 등, 1989). 그러나, 전량 수입 및 기술 이전에 의존하는 로터리식 식부 장치는 다음과 같은 문제점을 가지고 있다. 1) 로터리식 식부 장치의 식부 궤적은 원에 가까운 난형을 가지므로 식부후 토양에 생기는 구멍이 크랭크식 식부 장치에 의한 것보다 커서 식부 자세가 불량하고 뜬묘가 많이 발생한다. 2) 로터리식 식부 장치의 식부 제적은 상하 방향의 길이가 크랭크식보다 짧아 앞서 이앙한 모의 줄기 부분이 겹치는 브릿지(bridge) 현상이 자주 발생하며 벼 생육에 불리하다. 3) 로터리식 식부 장치의 조당 수입 판매 가격은 약 30만원으로 6조식 승용 이앙기에 부착할 경우 국내 승용 이앙기 평균 판매 가격인 960만원의 약 19%인 180만원을 차지하여 국산 이앙기의 경쟁력을 감소시킨다.   • This paper presents the dimensional synthesis and kinematic analysis of the RSCS-SSP motion generating spatial mechanism using the displacement matrix method. This type of spatial mechanisms is used for the Mcpherson suspension in small automobiles. It is modeled for the wheel bump/rebound and steering motion. First, the suspension is modeled as a multiloop spatial rigid body guidance mechanism for the two major motions. Then the design equations for SSP, RS, and SC strut links are applied to synthesize an RSCS-SSP for up to three prescribed positions for the steering motiom from the suspension design specification. Thus a RSCS-SSP mechanism which is synthesized is also analyzed for the displacement during the steering motion.

Effect of Dietary Selenium of Metallothionein Synthesis and Antioxidative Detoxificantion Mechanism in Cadmium Administered Rats (Cadmium 투여 흰쥐에 있어서 Metallothionein 합성과 항산화적 해독기구에 미치는 식이 Selenium의 영향)

  • In order to investigate the effect of selenium (Se) on the liver damage, metallothionein synthesis and hepatic antioxidative detoxification system in cadmium(Cd) administered rats. Sprague-Dawley male rats(60\\5g) were divided into two diet groups, depending on with (CdS groups) or without (Cd groups) 0.5ppm Se supplementation and fed experimental diets ad libidum for 4 weeks. And then each group was again subdivided into five groups, depending on injection number of Cd, i.e., 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 times of 2.5mg Cd/kg of body wt once a day. Hemoglobin concentration, hematocrit values, superoxide dismutase, glutathione peroxidase and glutathione S-transferase activite were decreased progressively with increasing number of Cd injection, but increased by the supplementation of Se. The reduced form of glutathione (GSH) contents in blood and liver and vitamin E content were decreased and oxidized form (GSSG) increased in Cd groups, but these of Se supplemented groups were not very different from controls. Cd reduced liver vitamin E content which was not restored by Se supplementation. Liver lipid peroxide values were elevated with increasing doses of Cd, but Se supplementation reduced these elevated levels. Accumulation of metallothionein in liver and kidney was increased with increasing number of Cd injection, but Se did not affect on them. Histological examination revealed that lysosomes were significantly increased and mitochondria and Golgi apparatus were enlarged by Cd, however, these changes were reduced by Se. It was concluded that Se administration promoted antioxidative detoxification and alleviated peroxidative damage in rat liver by Cd.
