On the Formative Feature Characteristics of Cyber Character's Fashion in the Cyber-space Game (가상공간 게임에 나타난 사이버 캐릭터 의상의 조형성)

  • The purpose of this research is to examine the relation between the cyber environment and the contemporary fashion design by studying the formative feature characteristics of cyber character's fashion in the on-line game from the point of the contemporary fashion design. The research method is to understand the general concept of the cyber-space and characters and then is to contemplate characteristics and formative features of game character's fashion of the cyber-space mainly with cyber characters that were closely linked with features of the contemporary fashion design. As a result, the formative feature of game character's fashion of the cyber-space was to be classified into four categories; reactionism, mechanism, futurism, sensualism. First, reactionism takes traditional elements with symbolical and compromising form. Second, mechanism has a tendency of deconstruction due to its vitality and sense of velocity for objects through employing geometrical forms and new materials. Third, futurism deviates from the established framework. It makes use of high-tech materials and has surrealistic and futuristic features. Fourth, sensualism does emphasize sensual parts of the body and intends to convey aesthetic atmosphere through association of ideas. Character's fashion of the cyber on-line game is unnatural and artificial in its forms and wear for the lack of knowledge for costume's structure, and it shows just simplified design that accept extremely partial fragment of features in the contemporary fashion design.

Characteristics of Fluid Force Reduction for Two Different Square Prisms in a Tandem Arrangement (직렬배열에 놓인 크기가 다른 정방형주의 유체력 저감특성)

  • The Characteristics of the flowfields of a square prism having a small square prism were investigated by measuring of lift and drag on the square prism and visualizing the flowfield using PIV. The experimental parameters were the width ratios(H/B=0.2~0.6) of small square prisms to the prism width and the gap ratios (G/B=0~3) between the prism and the small square prism. The drag reduction rate of the square prism initially increased and then decreased with the G/B ratio for the same H/B ratio, and increased with the H/B ratio for the same G/B ratio. The maximum drag reduction rate of 98.0% was observed at H/B=0.6 and G/B=1.0. The lift reduction rate of the square prism was not affected by the width and gap ratios; the total average value was approximately 66.5%. In case of a square prism having a small square prism, the stagnation regions were represented in the upstream and downstream sides of the square prism.

Mechanical strength of Zirconia Abutment in Implant Restoration (지르코니아 임플란트 지대주의 기계적 강도에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: As the esthetic demands of dental implant patients are increased, the demands of zirconia as implant abutment material are also increased. It has non-metalic color, good biocompatibility, high strength and high toughness. Even thought the advatage of zirconia abutment, there are a few studies about mechanical properties of zirconia abutment. This study evaluated the mecanical strength with compressive bending strength and endurance limit of implant-zirconia abutment assembly. Materials and Methods: Static and cyclic loading of implant-Zirconia abutment assembly were simulated under worst case condition according to ISO. Test groups were implants of external butt joint with straight regular diameter and angled regular diameter zirconia abutment, implant of external butt joint with narrow straight diameter zirconia abutment and implant of internal conical joint with straight narrow diameter zirconia abutment. All test group were evaluated the mecanical strength with compressive bending strength and endurance limit. After fatique testing, fracture surface were examined by SEM. Results: The compressive bending strengths exceed 927N. Regular diameter zirconia abutment were stronger than narrow diameter zirconia abutment(P<.05). The endurance limits ranged from 503N to 868N. Conclusion: Within the limitation of this study, zirconia implant abutment exceeded the estabilished values for maximum incisal biting forces reported in the literature.

  • 임심 중 심폐바이패스를 사용하는 개심수술은 산모뿐 아니라 태아계에도 영향을 끼치기 때문에 중요하다. 임신 중 항응고제 투여을 부적절하게 하여 기계판막 기능부전이 초래된 임신 31주의 산모에서 심장 재수술에 앞서 제왈절개로 태아 출산 후 20시간 뒤 산모의 개시수술을 성공적으로 시행하였기에 보고하는 바이다.

  • 유한요소법은 구조공학분야에서 발전하여 과학기술 전반에 통용되는 수치해석의 한 방법 또는 기술로서 각광받고 있다. 이 기법은 변분원리에 수학적 기초를 두는 미분 방정식의 수치해법의 하나라고 할 수 있다. 이 글에서는 고체역학 부문에 한정하여 유한요소법의 기본체계, 응력계산과 관련하여 중요 수치현상, 그리고 최근 국내외학계의 연구동향 및 상용 패키지 사용시 주의 사항에 관하여 언급한다.
