미래 선도형 에코 성형 시스템 관련 기술의 동향 - 서보모터 구동형 프레스의 개발 현황

  • 지구 온난화와 더불어 화석에너지 고갈에 대한 우려로 에코바람이 불고 있다. 일본이나 독일 등 공작기계 선도국에서는 푸른 지구를 위해 에너지 절감형 기계 개발에 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다. 프레스기계에 대한 에너지 절감 노력은 서보프레스를 통해 이루어지고 있다. 수년 전부터 프레스 관련 공작기계 전시회에서의 신기술은 거의 대부분 서보프레스에 관한 것들이다. 일본에서는 2009년부터 성형기계 저문 전시회인 MF-Tokyo가 격년으로 열리고 있으며, 유럽에서는 EuroBLECH를 통해 서보프레스에 대한 신기술 경쟁이 이루어지고 있다. 본 고에서는 이들 전시회를 통해 보여지는 기계식 서보프레스의 기술개발 동향을 분석하고자 한다.

  • 기존 imprint공법으로 기계식 프레스를 많이 사용되고 있으며, 기계식 프레스를 이용하여 imprint시 균일하게 압력인가가 되지 않는 것을 알게 되었다 예를 들어 한쪽으로 많이 눌리고 다른쪽은 적게 눌려서 균일하게 패턴 전사가 되지 않아 imprint실험이 힘들었었다. 그리하여 Autoclave라는 공압장비를 알게 되었고 공기의 압력을 이용하여 imprint시 균일하게 압력인가가 전해지는 것을 알 수 있었다. Autoclave장비를 이용하여서 imprint가능성 확인과 기계식 장비와 공압식 장비의 차이점을 비교하여 설명을 하고자 함.

  • The CAD/CAM System for deep drawing transfer die in mechanical press proess has been developed. The developed CAD system can generate the drawing of drawing of transfer die in mechanical press. Using these results from CAD system, it can generate the NC data to machine die's elements on the CAD system. This system can reduce design man-hours and human errors. In order to construct the system, it is used to automate the design process using knowledge base system. The developed system is based on the knowledge base system which is involved a lot of expert's technology in the practice filed. Using AutoLISP language under the AutoCAD system, CTK customer language of SmartCAM is used as the overall CAD/CAM environment. Results of this system will be provide effective aids to the designer and mannufacturer in this field.

A Study on Electrodewatering Filter Press Technology for Improvement of Dewarterability of Waterworks Sludge (정수슬러지 탈수효율 향상을 위한 전기필터프레스탈수에 관한 연구)

  • The elcetrodewatering filter press(EDFP) which had anode and cathod plates to be set between filter plates was built for reducing the waterworks sludge and improving performance of dewatering equipment. Several tests to compare the dewaterability with conventional mechanical filter press dewatering(MDEP) and EDFP was conducted through this equipment. As test results, filtration amount discharged from EDFP measured 43.2 kg which increased against MDFP, and cake weight measured 4 kg which was two times against MDFP. The water content of dewatered cake from EDFP was 55wt% and dewatering velocity was 2.3 $kg/m^2{\cdot}cycle$. This water content decrease 20% and dewatering velocity increased 30% with compare to the MDFP. That is to say, EDFP constructed from electrodewatering mechanism increase filtrate discharging amount, which make dewatering velocity increase and produce the low water content dewatered cake against MDFP. Energy consumption of EDFP is analysed to 400 kwh/DS ton. The results to analysis the economical aspect considering the power consumption and the handling cost decline as sludge volume reduction due to producing the low water content cake showed that expenses to handle sludge of 1 ton by dry solid base cut down on 20,000 won. If considering several test aspects, it was analysed that EDFP was excellent in the side of performance as well as economical suitability.

  • The most product is manufactured by mould in usual life. From drawing to manufacturing is to be automatically. But inspection is handwork usually. An alternative idea of this problem is reverse engineering. In this study, press forming is measured by 3D non-contact coordinate measuring machine and problem will be analyzed by comparing with 3D data Through the study, it will achieve improvement of press mould process.

  • This study is an inspection of press forming product and mould using reverse engineering system. The inspection process on production field involves a lot of errors because of the hand-work so we focussed on improving the measured precision through performing the effective inspection using 3D non-contact scanner. By so doing that, we improved the precision of press forming product by analyzing the cause following the inspection result. Through the inspection, we applied it to the reverse engineering and we could improve the inspection process.

  • A tailor welded blank (TWB) is a welded blank comprised of two or more sheets with different properties - thickness, strengths or formabilities. TWBs are applied to the body panels to reduce weight and cost of the part. In this research, ultra high strength steel and high ductility steel were joined and laser tailor welded blanks were implemented. Yb:YAG laser welding tests were conducted with various welding conditions, and mechanical and geometrical characteristics of weldments were evaluated.

  • Metal Powder Metallurgy is a manufacturing technology that makes unique model parts or a certain type of product by using a hardening phenomenon when a powder of metal or metal oxide is put it into a mold and compression-molded by a press and then heated and sintered at a high temperature. Powder metallurgical press equipment is mainly used to make the parts of automobile, electronic parts and so on, and most of them are manufactured using precise servo motor. The intelligent precision servo control powder molding press system which is designed and implemented in this paper has advantages of lowering the price and maintaining the precision by using the mechanical camshaft for the upper ram part and precisely controlling the lower ram part using the high precision servo system. In addition, OPC-based monitoring and process data collection systems are designed and implemented to provide scalability that can be applied to smart manufacturing management systems that utilize Big Data in the future.
