  • To investigate the role of positive emotion in education, we have reviewed the previous studies on positive emotion, learning and motivation. In the present study, we examined the definition of positive emotion, and influences of positive emotion on cognition, creativity, social relationship, psychological resource such as life satisfaction, and interactive relationship among positive emotion, motivation and learning. To investigate the role of positive emotion on motivation and learning more scientifically, we examined the recent results of neuroscience. In other words, we have reviewed diverse research on positive emotion, learning and motivation based on brain-based learning. We also examined the research of autonomy-supportive environment as the specific example of improving positive emotion. As one of the most effective methods for emotional education, we discussed brain-based learning, the new research field. As the future prospects, we discussed the implications, possibilities and limitations of brain-based learning.

  • This study applies the concepts of sociotechnical theory and role theory in order to verify the effects of stress (that is, technostress) created from information and computer technology (ICT) concerning role stress and performance. We suggest diverse perspectives concerning the elements leading to technostress along with the stress-creating process of ICT among organizational members. The following four major hypotheses are proposed: (1) Technostress is positively related to role stress (e.g., conflict and overload of roles), adverse psychological outcomes, and adverse IS use related outcomes, (2) Role conflict is positively related to adverse psychological outcomes and adverse IS use related outcomes, (3) Role overload is positively related to adverse psychological outcomes and adverse IS use related outcomes, and (4) Innovation support will play as a moderator between technostress, roles tress, adverse psychological outcomes and adverse IS use related outcomes. A partial least square (PLS) with data gathered data from ICT users of organizations was used to verify the proposed hypotheses. The results supported our claims excluding the hypothesis associated to the relationship between technostress and role stress. We suggest a theoretical implication based on the verification of technostress related to the current concept of stress experienced by individuals within organizations. We also propose that a practical implication concerning the opposite effect of technostress, can be utilized as a method of reducing role stress, and suggests a diagnostic tool for assessing the degree of technostress within organizations.

[3]. • The present empirical research examines the effect of team leader's ethical leadership on team members' in-role behavior and psychological capital. This study also predicts that management decoupling and personal decoupling will moderate the effect of ethical leadership negatively. A growing body on leadership research highlights the role of team leader's moral manager in team settings. Ethical leadership also becomes a salient issue in the situation of unethical decision making and misuse of management power which have done by unethical leaders all around the world. In order to identify the effect of ethical leadership, I collected data of 922 team members from bank, semiconductor manufacturer, and university hospital. Our findings show that ethical leaderships have a positive effect on team members' in-role behavior and psychological capital. In addition, I also found the significant moderation effect of management decoupling which team members perceive their top management team's inauthenticity. Contrary to the prediction, however, the result doesn't support the moderation effect of personal decoupling. I discussed implications of confirming and disconfirming findings in details.

  • Li Zehou(李澤厚) regards Chuang-tzu's fatalism as a kind of pessimism and slavish conformism. The main issue of this paper is to opposes Li Zehou(李澤厚)'s view, and reveal that Chuang-tzu's fatalism is not the negative and slavish conformism but the true positivism of the fate. These Chuang-tzu's fatalism can be conceptualized as a 安之若命. When the human was faced with unavoidable fate, Chuang-tzu's 安之若命 is not pessimistically surrender itself to the fate such as a slave, but pleasantly accepts and affirms the fate. Now, the next three process proves that Chuang-tzu's 安之若命 affirms the fate. The attitude of 安之若命, First, takes the unavoidable(不得已) fate as it is. Second, it resolves a humane 'sadness and joy(哀樂)' through 'the forgetting(忘).' Third, it understands the life and death, the change of world, the human body as the stream of energy(氣). Fourth, in conclusion, it affirms the fate by these processes. These point of view can conceptualize as Chuang-tzu's Amor Fati. That is to say, Chuang-tzu' 安之若命 is not a pessimistic but a positive view of the fate.

  • Drawing upon research in affect and social identity theory, this study examines when and how an individual's trait positive affect (TPA) exerts a significant effect on the person's organizational citizenship behavior directed toward individuals (OCBI). A moderated mediation model was tested by using the data of 293 employees nested in 66 work groups. Results demonstrate that the indirect effect of TPA on OCBI mediated by group identification (GI) is significantly positive only when perceived group positive affect (PGPA) is low, highlighting the substituting role of PGPA in the relationship between TPA and GI. The significant conditional indirect effects at the low level of PGPA suggest that TPA functions as significant, affective resources for enhancing GI and consequently increasing OCBI of the focal member when PGPA is low. By contrast, TPA's role in enhancing GI becomes redundant when PGPA is high. The current analysis reveals potential complementary functions of TPA and PGPA in explaining subsequent identity cognition and individual behavior.
