Investigation of Autotransformer Configuration to Enhance Collecting Voltage in Train (집전 전압 향상을 위한 교류급전시스템의 단권변압기 구성 검토)

  • AC traction power supply system has adopted autotransformer (AT) feeding method. This system has an advantage as long feeding distance. However, the countermeasure for voltage drop should be considered, because load capacity grows larger and headway grows shorter in recent electric railway system. This paper proposes the improved system configuration to enhance voltage drop in ac railway system without additional power electronic device. That is to increase turn ratio between contact wire and rail of AT. By modifying turn ratio of AT at SSP or SP, collecting voltage on train will be enhanced.

  • A monopulse feeder gives the most important impact upon the radiation pattern characteristics of a multi-function radar or a tracking radar which uses the space feed. It is described that the triple-mode type monopulse feeder which possesses the optimum aperture illumination for three monopulse channels is designed and measured in this paper. The measured results show that the designed feeder has not only the characteristics of the optimum aperture illimination in each channel and also very low return loss over the 10 % of fractional bandwidth at X-band. This means that the feeder provides the antenna system with low sidelobe level and high monopulse slope characteristics.

서울지하철 직류급전계통이 고장계산 및 검토

  • 직류 급전 계토으이 고장은 트롤리선과 레일 사이의 단락이며 이것은 또한 1선지락 고장이다. 이 고장 전류와 격변하는 부하 전류를 정확하게 판별하여 고장 전류만 차단하기 위하여는 선택 차단 방식이 필요할 뿐 아니라 직류 차단 전류는 교류의 경우에 비하여 일반적으로 차단이 어렵기 때문에 고장 전류를 신속히 차단할 수 있는 고속도 차단기가 필요하다. 그러므로 본고에서는 이러한 기초자료를 얻기 위해 직류 급전 계통의 고장 전류를 계산하고 검토하고져 한다. 이를 위하여 먼저 지하철의 전력 계통에 대한 구성 개요를 살펴보고, 직류 급전 계통의 정상 운전 특성 중에서 나타나는 일반적인 특성 검토와 고장 전류의 계산을 하여 본 것이다.

An Inset-Fed Microstrip Patch Antenna Having Modified Feeding Structure in the S-Band (급전구조를 변형한 5-Band용 INSET-FED 마이크로스트립 패치 안테나)

  • In this paper, a modified feeding structure for microstrip patch antenna is suggested for improving the performances. The proposed antenna has a gap between the transmission line and the recessed part of the radiating patch which makes a capacitive coupling. It shows higher 511(-l4dB) and lower cross polarization level(-2OdB) compare with the conventional inset ftd patch antenna while having a similar characteristics in another evaluating items. Experimental results are examined and considered to apply to the S-Band application, and the effectiveness has been confirmed by FDTD simulation and measurement simultaneously.

  • 일반도로에서 자유주행이 가능한 온라인 전기자동차(On-Line Electric Vehicle, OLEV)에 적용하기 위해 전류원 급전방식의 직렬-직렬 공진형 자기유도 전력전달시스템(Inductive Power Transfer System, IPTS)을 개발하였다. OLEV용 IPTS에서는 급전선로의 누설 인덕턴스가 크고 집전픽업의 유무에 따라 입력측에 유기되는 전압변동이 심한 특성을 반영하여 급전측에 공진형 전류원을 사용한다. 또한 자화 인덕턴스와 집전픽업의 누설 인덕턴스를 포함하여 변압기를 완전 공진시킨다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 방식의 IPTS에서 최대출력을 전달하기 위한 조건을 찾고, 이로써 최대 출력전류 및 출력전력을 제한하는 요인을 찾아 최적설계를 할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 실험을 통해 그 타당성을 검증하였다.

A Study on Design and Manufacturing Methods of Dual-Polarization Monopulse Feed Structure in Millimeter-wave(W band) (밀리미터파(W대역) 이중편파 모노펄스 급전 구조 설계 및 제작 방안 연구)

  • In this paper, We designed a waveguide-type feed structure that converts millimeter wave dual-polarized signals into monopulse signals and presented a manufacturing method. At millimeter-wave such as the W band, the size of the waveguide is very small, making it very difficult to manufacture complex structures. Therefore, because manufacturability is important for the waveguide-type feed structure in the millimeter-wave, electro forming and diffusion bonding were proposed and verified in this study. The designed monopulse feed structure consists of eight 180° hybrids that combine 90° hybrids and self-compensating phase shifters, and four OMTs to separate dual polarization. The designed feed structure was designed to facilitate electro forming and diffusion bonding, and the manufactured feed structure was verified through a network analyzer. It was confirmed that the two proposed production methods produce a monopulse signal well through the measured magnitude and phase of the port.

  • Induced voltage causing disturbances on the communication lines of electric train is dealt with when the AT power supply system is employed. Induction interference is of three types, namely, normal state induced voltage, unusual induced voltage in case of power faults, and noise-induced voltage. Calculation of induced voltages occurring in the AT system is more complicated and extensive than in the BT system. In this paper we obtain an algorithm to calculate the induced voltages on the communication lines in the AT system and an algorithm for the induced current in case of the accident that the line falls to the ground. These algorithms are developed to a package of computer programs and their validity was checked on a simulated system. We supply the measures to protect the communication lines suitable for the AT system and we can also evaluate the protection capabilities. Because of the ability to evaluate the protection measures, this package is expected to be very useful when electric train system is constructed on communication lines near the railroad.

  • In this paper, a wideband loop antenna is designed using a CPW feeding method for indoor digital TV applications. The proposed loop antenna consists of a square loop and two circular sectors which connect the loop with central feed points, and the CPW feed line is inserted in the lower circular sector. The CPW feed line is designed to match with the 75 ohm port impedance for DTV applications, and the ground slots are etched in order to improve the impedance matching in the middle frequency region. The optimized antenna is fabricated on FR4 substrate, and the experiment results show that it operates in the frequency band of 463-1,280 MHz for a VSWR < 2, which assures the operation in the DTV band.

  • 일반거주지역의 초고속 광가입자망 구축을 위해 B-PON(Broadband Passive optical network)시스템과 이를 위한 급전방안으로 공유급전이 고려되고 있다. 한곳의 Power-Node가 최대 32개의 ONU에 전력을 공급하기 위해서는 고 전위의 구동 source가 필요하게 된다. 고압실현을 위하여 검토되는 회로는 범용으로 사용되는 linear 방식보다는 SMPS(Switching Mode Power Supply)방식의 소형경량화의 회로를 채택하며, 고 용량화에 수반되는 역률 문제를 보상하고, 고효율을 실현하여 전체시스템의 전력밀도의 극대화를 이루었다.

  • 국내에서 운용중인 단권변압기를 사용한 단권변압기(Auto-Transformer) 급전계통이 철도청의 경우 상하선을 전기적으로 구분하여 사용하고 있는 반면, 건설중인 고속철도의 경우 상하선을 병렬연결하고 있어 이에 대한 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 전기적인 장단점을 확인하여 향후 급전계통 방식을 선정하는데 기본 안을 제시한다.
