A Study on the Business Performance According to Employees(Optician)' Characteristics (안경원 근무자(안경사)특성이 경영성과에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • Purpose: In this study, we investigated effects of employees characteristics, expertise, customer satisfaction, devotion of employees to their company, business performance of the optician. Methods: For two months, from August to October 2011, employees participated in individual questionnaires. And the SPSS v14.0 was applied for statistical analysis. Results: This study has shown that the employees characteristics have an effect on the financial performance and satisfaction performance of opticians. In particular, the 'Customers satisfaction' a was important characteristics of employees affecting finance performance, and the 'Devotion to their company' was important factor that affects satisfaction performance. Conclusions: From the result found in this study, it is recommended that further efforts for inspiring the employees devotion to their company and for improving customer satisfaction are required. Above all, employer should pay attention on more suitable ways to encourage work of his employee with considering different situation or circumstance of each optician.

Relationships among Nursing Practice Environment and Turnover Intention of Hospital Nurses: The Mediating Effect of The Work-Life Balance (간호사의 간호근무환경과 이직의도 관계 : 워라벨(일과 삶의 균형)의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to test the mediating effect of WLB on the relationship between the nursing practice environment and turnover intention of nurses. Data were collected from October 5 to October 30, 2020 for 144 nurses for more than 6 months at three general hospitals located in A-do. Data analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 23.0 program by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and regression analysis. As a result of the study, WLB was partial mediating role in the relationship between the nursing practice environment and turnover intention. Therefore, in order to reduce the turnover rate of nurses, it is necessary to develop and apply programs along with organizational human resource management strategies to positively improve the nursing practice environment of nurses and to promoting WLB. Based on the results of this study, we intend to provide basic data to reduce the turnover rate of nurses by positively recognizing the nursing practice environment of nurses and improving WLB.

The Relationship between COVID-19 related Post-traumatic Stress, Nursing Work Environments, and the Resilience of nurses in Tertiary General Hospitals (상급종합병원 간호사의 COVID-19 관련 외상 후 스트레스, 간호근무환경과 회복탄력성의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between the COVID-19 related post-traumatic stress, nursing work environments, and the resilience among nurses in Tertiary General Hospitals. Data were collected from 155 nurses who directly cared for COVID-19 patients and were working at the K University D Hospital in D Metropolitan City using an online survey. The SPSS 28.0 program was used for data analysis. Based on the results of the survey, post-traumatic stress showed a significant negative correlation with the nursing work environments(r=-.17, p<.001), and the nursing work environments showed a significant positive correlation with the resilience of nurses(r=.20, p<.001). Through the results of this study, it is necessary to improve the nursing work environments for managing post-traumatic stress, to build an active support system by securing manpower from the government, and to develop and apply intervention programs for improving the resilience of nurses in the COVID-19 situation.

  • This survey was conducted between January 15, 2014 and February 25, 2014 to investigate the practice for infection prevention among dental hygienists. Data were obtained from 294 dental clinic worker who worked in dental hospital (clinics) of Gwangju and Chonnam. At the conclusion of this investigation, according to the conclusion of this investigation, the necessity of infection control education for dental hygienists and washing their gowns after caring infected patients affected the practice for infection prevention. They also well practiced the infection prevention working in dental hospital. To prevent infection in dental clinic, it is necessary to provide the continuing education programs for dental infection control to dental clinic worker.

  • The purpose of this survey was to measure the health service activity of the Public health nurses and analyze the related factors influencing to their activities. The subjects of this study were 249 PHN in Health Centers, Pusan and Kyung Nam area and survey was conducted from 5th, January to 28th, February, 1987. The results of this study were as follow; 1. Total performance average of health service activities was 2.52. Among the 1 t health categories, health service planning (3.05) was the most and others health care (2.07) was the least active. 2. In performed degree of activities in department of Health Center. The hightest performed activities were T.B care in T.B clinic (3.79), family planning in family planning clinic (3.94), screening for disease in medical office (3.42), prenatal care in M.C.H. room (3.46) work planning in injection room (3.76), postpartum care in MCH center (3.63). 3. There were significient difference in age, education, religion, section of service, duty between the general characteristics and health service activities.(p<.05).

  • The goal of this study is to analyze the effect of the working environment of elderly care facility employees on the care service quality and the mediation effect of social support. The results of the research were as follows: First, it has been confirmed that a high level of average monthly salary and the salary satisfaction theref have a positive correlation with an improvement in care service quality in the working environment variables of elderly care facility employees. Second, it has been confirmed that the average monthly salary and the salary satisfaction level among the working environment variables of elderly care facility employees have a positive correlation on the parameter of social support. Third, a partial mediation effect of social support has been confirmed in the effect that average monthly salary and the salary satisfaction level variables have on the quality of care service in the working environment of elderly care facility employees. Thus, this study actively reflects the social situation of an aged society and uses "Self-checking Management Measures" capable of suggesting the management direction for the elderly care facility to measure its service quality and proposes a method to improve the working environment of the elderly care facility employees.
