건설산업의 개방화에 대비하고 국민편의위주의 건축행정을 구현하기 위한 ‘건축법 및 건축사법 개정방안’에 관한 공청회가 지난 5월 14일(목)에 본협회 강당에서 개최됐다. 우리 협회가 주최하고 건설교통부가 후원한 이번 공청회에는 건축사를 비롯 건축관련단체와 시민단체, 관련학계 전문가들이 참가해 열띤 토론을 벌였다. 오전 10시부터 열린 건축법 개정에 관한 공청회에서는 국민편의 위주의 건축허가 제도 개선, 지방중심의 건축제도 정비, 시대변화를 신속히 수용할 수 있는 법체계로 개편, 건축기준의 합리화 등에 대한 내용으로 발표와 토론이 있었고, 이어 14시 30분부터 열린 건축사법 개정에 관한 공청회에서는 건축사사무소의 전문화 유도, 소비자 보호를 위한 건축사공제조합 설립근거 마련, 건축사등록업무 대한건축사협회에 이관, 건설업체 소속 건축사의 자가업무용 사옥 설계 허용, 건축사 시험제도 개선, 건축사 행정처분기준의 조정 등에 대한 주제발표와 토론이 있었다. 이번 공청회 결과는 보다 광범위한 여론수렴과정을 거쳐 금년도 9월 정기국회에 상정될 예정이다. 이번 건축법 및 건축사법 개정으로 건축행정 절차나 건축 관련 각종 기준을 비롯하여 건축사제도의 미래 지향적인 합리적 기틀 마련의 좋은 기회가 되기를 바라며 본지에서는 주제발표 전문과 토론내용을 요약 정리하여 게재한다.

We present a new self-calibration method to remove the systematic error of a 2-axis lateral shearing interferometer that has been specially designed for optical testing of aspheric optics. The method takes multiple measurements by rotating the test optics and extracts the systematic error by fitting the measured wavefronts into the Zernike polynomials. The method works with arbitrary azimuthal angles for test optics rotation, which offers an advantage of correcting the error induced by the non-orthogonality of the two axes of wavefront shearing as well as the error caused by the optical components of the interferometer system itself.

In this paper, we proposed a fuzzy controller and algorithm for efficiently obstacle avoidance in unknown space. The ultrasonic sensor is used for position and distance recognition of obstacle, and fuzzy controller is used for left and right wheels angular velocity control. The fuzzification is used singleton method and the control rule is each wheel forty-nine. The fuzzy inference is used simplified Mamdani's reasoning and defuzzification is used SCOG(Simplified Center Of Gravity). The computer simulation based on mobile robot modelling was performed for the capacity of fuzzy controller and the really applicable possibility revaluation of the proposed avoidance algorithm and fuzzy controller. As a result, mobile robot was exactly reached in target and it avoided obstacle efficiently.

This study aims to enhance the usability of eBook reader programs on personal computers through heuristic evaluation in order to learn users' perceptions and derive key elements for interface design. For this purpose, the traditional usability evaluation and heuristic evaluation method were studied. A total of 22 evaluators of the heuristic evaluation were taken by purposive sampling to test the interface of eBook reader on PCs. This study suggested ten heuristics that focus on improving and specializing the usability aspects of reading digital materials.

By the 1990s, Database Online Searching and CD-ROM Searching have been used universally in libraries. Due to their ease of use and facilitation, it is believed that such new media searching will produce more benefits than the usual printed materials. Furthermore, from the library management's point view, the new media searching's ability to minimize holding space will be another example of the advantage. The new media searching will have ever the printed materials. However, since it Is necessary to have an objective appraisal of the cost effectiveness in the implementation and the design of the new media system, it will be compared the new media searching with the conventional searching by using printed materials at the KIEP Library and Data Bank.

컴퓨터 성능의 급속한 발전으로 언어 학습에 컴퓨터를 이용하려는 시도는 이제 새로운 언어 교수법 차원으로 발전하는 실정이다. 이에 따라 컴퓨터를 이용한 학습이 더욱 강조되면서, 많은 학습 프로그램이 개발되고 있다. 그러나, 기존 영어 단어 학습 시스템은 학습자에게 지나치게 많은 단어들을 단순한 방법을 통해서 학습하게 함으로써 심리적 부담을 주고 있다. 심리언어학에서는 언어 이해의 과정이 단순히 제시된 것을 그대로 받아들이는 수용의 과정이 아니라 학습자가 이미 보유한 경험과 개념을 근거로 활성망의 확산을 통해 적절한 관계를 찾는 역동적 능동적 과정이라는 이론이 있다. 본 논문에서는 언어 학습 이론을 바탕으로 단어들 사이의 관계를 부각시킴으로써 추론과 기억에 도움을 주는 영어 단어 학습 시스템을 제안한다. 본 시스템은 단어들 간의 관계를 정의한 단어 관계 망을 중심으로 단어 학습 순서를 결정할 수 있고, 이미지 및 게임 기능을 지원하여 단어학습의 흥미를 유발하는 특징이 있다.

Recently general hospitals in Korea have been actively remodeled. Remodeling is required to extend the hospitals' area and to meet the new medical demand. Eventually it aims for achieving ideal healing environment. Seoul National University Bundang Hospital has also developed the schematic design to open the new hospital in 2012. This large scale of extension is the first step in its expected remodeling cycle. It is essential for the extension of hospital to create an architectural system on the basis of function, and to keep the balance with both the existing buildings and natural context simultaneously. To connect the existing hospital and the new hospital, a hospital street should be designed to make it function as a main pedestrian spine. Space design marketing of general hospital is effective in promoting the hospital image. It can be realized by emphasizing hospital identity through combining cultural program and commercial facilities. Developing hospital design should be encouraged under the EBD (Evidence Based Design) concept spread in USA.

Purpose: The main objective of this paper is, first, to assess a body of research evidence that articulates the impact of environmental and design factors on safety, quality of life, and health of the elderly who reside in geriatric hospitals or other elderly care facilities and, second, to draw out design implications that can be incorporated into design process and design decisions to help create healing environments for the elderly. Methods: Extensive literature review has been conducted to identify rigorous empirical studies that link the design of elderly care facilities to health-related outcomes and scrutinized peer-reviewed articles published in many different fields including architecture, psychology, nursing to gerontology. Results: The review found a growing body of rigorous studies that identified physical environmental and design factors that improve safety, quality of life, and health of the elderly in geriatric hospitals or other elderly care facilities. Implications: The findings of the review can be translated to design decisions to promote safety, quality of life, and health of the elderly in geriatric hospitals or other elderly care facilities.

This study aims to propose a model for developing participatory labor archives as locality ones. First, it proceeded the literature reviews and expert interviews, so that revealed the needs for participations in building labor archives, participating agents/agencies and the type of participation, especially in industrial labor archives. After examining domestic and foreign labor archives, the way of participation was analysed. Based on the analysis the model for developing participatory labor archives in terms of the principles, the procedure and the participation methods were proposed.

In this study, based on actual project implementation cases, task management plans for construction management related green building certification were derived in major stages. Accordingly, the importance from details of construction management tasks for the operation and management process of the schematic design phase, design development phase, and construction document phase, focusing on G-SEED certification, was analyzed. In addition, major items were derived based on the weight of additional construction costs and acquisition scores through previous research cases on the analysis of construction costs for G-SEED certification, and the importance from details of construction management tasks on the major items of G-SEED certification was analyzed. As a result, the review and confirmation of the elements of reflection related to G-SEED in the schematic design phase, the adequacy of design documents and the connectivity of design phase in the design development phase were important. And the review and confirmation of the items directly related to the construction phase in the construction document phase were important.
