하우징의 가변성 - 디자인의 연구 및 적용(5)

  • 지난 몇 년간의 연구와 출간된 글, 그리고 디자인 스튜디오 등 일련의 실험과정을 '하우징의 가변성 - 디자인의 연구 및 적용'이란 하나의 주제로 묶어 연재한다. 근본적으로, 이 연구 및 실험은 두가지 틀 속에 그 근간을 두고 있다. 첫째는 '이론과 실무'이고, 둘째는 '분석과 종합'이다. 건축 활동에 있어 이론과 실무는 불가분의 관계에 있다. 우리에게 흔히 '건축10서'라고 알려져 있고 현존 가장 오래된 건축 저서인 비트루비우스의 'De Architectura'의 첫번째 책, 첫 장 '건축가의 교육에 관하여'에서 비트루비우스는 건축가의 이론과 실무능력의 겸비를 강조하고 있다. 건축 디자인을 함에 있어 구체적이고 체계화된 이론과 그 이론의 디자인으로의 적용을 통한 상호 보완관계를 강조한다. 즉 디자인 작업이란 연구, 분석, 실험 행위로 구성되는 연속 과정을 하나의 전체로 종합시켜 이루어지는 결정체이다. 따라서 건축 디자인은 그 근본이 되는 이론적 지식의 습득과 연구 그리고 디자인으로의 실험적인 적용 및 응용을 통한 상호 보완관계 위에서 전개, 발전되어야 한다. 따라서 디자인 작업이 '이론과 실무'의 상호 보완적인 작업이라는 전제하에 연재를 이어간다. 접근 방식으로는 '분석과 종합'의 변증법적인 통합에 기초한다. 건축 디자인의 형태적 체계를 인식하거나 구성하기 위한 방법으로 분석과 종합은 서로 불가분의 관계를 가진다. 여기서의 분석은 논리적인 사고나 원리에 근거한 디자인을 비교 검증하는 과정으로 해석하고 디자인에 나타나는 어떤 공통 특징을 인식하는 것이고, 이에 의거해 정련하고 개괄하여 새로운 디자인을 만들어가는 것이 종합이다. 즉, 건축가의 작품의 분석적 작업을 통해 이론과 원리를 추출하고, 이 원리들을 다양한 새로운 디자인으로의 적용 가능성을 디자인 스튜디오 작업을 통해 그 가능성을 타진해 보는 방법을 말한다.

대학수학능력시험의 확률영역에 관한 문항반응 분석

  • 수학적 힘의 함양과 문제해결력의 신장을 위한 수학교육에서 확률영역은 중요한 학습소재임에도 불구하고, 확률영역은 어려운 것으로 고착되었다. 이 연구에서는 학생들이 확률영역의 어떤 부분을 어려워하고 이해하기 힘들어하는지를 구체적 문항분석을 통하여 알아봄으로서 교수-학습의 기초자료를 제공하고자한다. 이를 위하여, 지난 10년간 출제되었던 대학수학능력시험의 확률영역 16문항을 고등학교 학생 220명에게 실시하고, 고전검사이론과 문항반응이론울 적용하여 그 결과를 분석하였다. 고전검사이론에서는 신뢰도와 변별도를 측정하였고, 문항반응이론에서는 Rasch 1-모수 문항반응모형에 근거한 BIGSTEP을 사용하여 내적타당도와 난이도를 측정하였다.

이론적 강제대류CHF 해석 모델의 연구 현황 및 성능 평가

  • 임계열속을 예측하는 기존의 여러 방법중 임계열속 발생 역학구조에 근거한 이론적 접근 방법은 여러 유동형태(Flow pattern)별로 연구되고 있으며, 대표적으로 환상유동에서의 LFD(Liquid Film Dryout) 이론, 기포류에서의 BBLD(Bubble Boundary Layer Dryout) 흑은 LNID(Local Nucleation Initiated Dryout)이론 등이 제시되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 일반적으로 원자로 조건에 서 적용될 수 있는 LFD이론과 BBLD 이론에 대하여 대표적인 모델들을 소개하고 특성을 검토하였다. 특히 BBLD 이론중에서 기포군집 (Bubble coalescence) 모델과 층류막 드라이 아웃(Sublayer dryout) 모델에 대해서는 원형관에서의 임계열속 시험자료를 사용하여 각 모델의 예측 성능 및 특성을 평가하였다. 평가 결과, 기포군집 모형인 Weisman 모델의 예측성능이 가장 우수했으며 아울러 층류막 드라이아웃 모델인 Katto 모델과 Mudawwar 모델은 구성 인자중 기포군속도와 층류막 두께와의 관계가 보다 정확히 모형화되야 할 것으로 판단된다.

A Theoretical Study to Formulate the Direction of Integrated Science Education (통합과학교육의 방향 설정을 위한 이론적 고찰)

  • In this study I defined the direction Integrated Science Education(ISE) should take. So that I groped for the direction ISE should take in the inherent nature of science and education, analyzing their respective validity from philosophical and psychological angles. Based upon these researches, I formulated the three directions for ISE to take; knowledge-centered, social problem-centered, and individual interest-centered. The results of this thesis may be summed up as follows: 1. The knowledge-centered ISE that thinks the inherent nature of science is in the scientific knowledge is based upon Hirst's integrated logic which is built on discipline-centered educational viewpoint. Now, the focus of interdisciplinary integration consists in clarifying the meanings of knowledge and the logical relations between one knowledge and another according to the respective form of exploration. The knowledge-centered ISE, therefore, was analyzed to find its justification in the educational philosophy of idealism, realism, neo-scholasticism; in the educational theories of essentialism, behaviorism, perennial ism; in the scientific philosophy of empiricism. positivism; in the educational psychology of developmental psychology and constructivism. 2. The social problem-centered ISE that thinks the inherent nature of science is the process of social concord is based upon Dewey's integrated logic which is built on experience-centered educational viewpoint. Now, the focus of interdisciplinary integration consists in the methodological aspect facilitating the process of experience. The social problem-centered ISE, therefore, was analyzed to find its theoretical justification in the educational philosophy of pragmatism; in the educational theory of progressivism; in the scientific philosophy of relativism and rationalism; and in the educational psychology of developmental psychology and constructivism. 3. The individual interest-centered ISE is based upon Patterson's integrated logic which is built on human-centered educational viewpoint. The focus of education here is self-realization. Therefore, rather than provide in learning conditions from outside, one is made to choose them oneself and the process of satisfying one's motive is emphasized. The individual interest-centered ISE, therefore, was analyzed to find its theoretical justification in the educational philosophy of existentialism; in the educational theory of humanism; in the scientific philosophy of relativism; and in Gestalt psychology.

A Longitudinal Qualitative Study on the Experiences and Perspectives of the Self-Reliance Program Participants - A Grounded Theory Approach (자활제도 참여자의 자활 경험과 전망에 대한 종단적 질적 연구 - 근거이론 분석을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the experiences and perspectives of the self-reliance program participants through a longitudinal qualitative study from 2006 to 2012. Based on Grounded theory approach, it examines how participants managed their lives up to now status. Through open-coding process, 181 meanings were identified. Paradigm model shows that the goal of the self-reliance program can be viewed as causal condition. However, contextual factors such as poverty experiences and child-support affected the self-reliance program participants to adapt and stay in the program rather than actively participate in the market. The finding shows that the meaning of self-reliance are differently understood by policy makers and self-reliance program participants.

  • Examination of the various impact factors on adoption sustainable IT can influence on the potential for creating sustainable businesses in today's society. However, the societal factor out of environmental factors, which stimulates customer intention to use sustainable IT, has seldom been investigated. In this paper, we examine the adoption of sustainable web technology from the pro-social behavior perspective. The concept of sustainable IT is theoretically examined based on social exchange theory. An empirical investigation is conducted into customer intention to use new sustainable IT. The results indicate that customers care about the social responsibility and usefulness of the sustainable IT-based services they choose. In this study, the social features of web technology and their influences on adoption are verified empirically for the first time. In addition, pro-sociality is identified as necessary to a perception of the socially responsible features of information technology. Furthermore, pro-social adoption behavior in the beginning stages of sustainable IT use is elucidated.

Relationship Between the Minimum Ignition Energy(MIE) and the Temperature (최소발화에너지와 온도의 관계)

  • Attempts are being made to investigate temperatures dependence of minimum ignition energy (MIE) based on concept of quantity of heat and thermal ignition theory. Regression equations for predicting MIE by means of temperature variations on the basis of statistical and mathematical methods are proposed. This study is undertaken to learn what proposed method is satisfactory hydrocarbons(propane and pentane). The proposed method has been tested and compared sucessfully with previously reported data in various journal.

Grounded Theory Approach on the Adaptation Process in Facility of Long-Term Care Elderly (장기요양보호대상노인의 시설적응과정에 관한 근거이론적 접근 -내버려진 마음 누그러뜨리기-)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine how the long-term care effects the elderly that adapt themselves to the caring facility, what their experiences are and what kinds of behavioral characteristics they present. We have analyzed the research conducted on 15 elderly individuals who are living in an elderly long-term care facility, by using the grounded theory approach of Strauss and Corbin (1998). As a result, 170 concepts, 42 sub-categories, and 15 categories were set by the open coding process. During the adaptation process in a long-term care facility, the primary experience or feeling by the elderly is that they had been 'deserted'. However, when consolidating the casual conditions, contextual conditions, intervening conditions, the action/interaction strategy, and consequence, the primary experience was that the elderly came to an 'acceptance'. Such acceptance was then sub-categorized into a destiny-resignation type, reality-acceptance type, and voluntary-selection type. Based on the results of this study, we recommend practical alternatives which will improve surrounding circumstances including caring facilities, its employees, relationships with other elderly individuals, and family support.

  • The study aims to identify the procedural problems of the archival reference service through Freedom of Information Act. Since FOIA enacted in 1998, there has been a rapid increase of use of government information. However, most of academic users tend to be strongly dissatisfied with the user service. The authors argue that archival reference service through FOIA substantially prevents researchers from using archival records for their research and lower researcher's visits to archival institutions. For this, the study conducted 19 in-depth interviews of academic users and analyzed how FOIA influence academic user's information behaviors based on Strauss and Corbin's grounded theory.

  • This research is to study the interaction of multiculture parents in law between. daughter in law. We approached hermeneutical grounded theory and six of multiculture family's parent's in law participated this research. Data were collected by the depth interview and various written records and we could construct 9 hermeutical theme by analyzing and categorizing 83 meaning units, 22 categories. We descripted the process of acculturation between parent's in law and daughter in law. The result as follows : ① sticking self dimensions → ② strategic acceptomce → ③ making shade of co-existence → ④ self dismantling and reconstruction. Finally we proposed the 「joint program of parent's in law and daughter in law for reinforcing culture unpetence」.
