그로모브-위튼 불변량과 그의 응용

  • 심프렉틱 다양체는 미분다양체와 케러다양체 사이에 있는 다양체로서 심프렉틱 구조를 갖는 다양체이다. 케러다양체의 성질들을 얼마나 확장할수 있는지, 미분다양체와 다른 성질은 무엇이 있는지 연구함은 흥미있는 일이다. 심프렉틱 구조로부터 준복소구조가 정의되어 2차원 부분다양체를 나타내는 슈도-호로모르픽 사상이 정의되고, 이들은 모듀라이 공간이 된다. 또한 심프렉틱 구조는 메트릭과 에너지를 정의하여 노비코프환을 정의한다. 여기서 모듀라이 공간의 위상구조가 그로모브-위튼 불변량을 정의한다. 이 불변량은 심프렉틱 다양체 연구에 핵심적인 역할을 한다. 이 논문은 그로모브-위튼 불변량의 여러 가지 성질과 그 응용에 대한 여러 학자들의 결과를 소개하는 해설 논문이다.

  • In general, compressors for refrigerators are major noise source in home environment. The vibration originated from a pump of a compressor can make noise through suspension springs and a LDT(Line Discharge Tube). Especially for the inverter motor driven compressor, the vibration is more serious than it of the constant speed compressors. Because the operation frequency range of an inverter motor driven compressor is very wide from 1600 rpm to 4200 rpm. In this paper, we propose the numerical model to reduce vibration by designing weight balancers and grommets. Results for analytical investigations on the exciting force and moment at the pump mass center, weight balancers and exciting frequency variation are presented.

  • This paper studies the designing method and application for grommets, rubber material used to absorb vibration on the air conditioner compressor. The existing grommet with hardness 40 degrees, EPDM, has the high transmissibility on the compressor that causes additional structure born sound. The problem for EPDM is transformation over long time usage possibly due to its design in which stress is concentrated on a certain position. In order to resolve it, silicon material was previously used with the same design in some models. The vibration performance did improve, but the cost became high. Below are the major developments regarding improvements in compressor rubber material, vibration performance and durability through design change, and new grommet to attain cost reduction. 1 The optimum grommet design for stress even distribution through FEM methods. 2. Comparison for grommet material and design for improved transmissibility. 3. Assess for grommets durability and product applications.

Development of Gastric Retentive Bi-layered Tablet using Floating Drug Delivery System (부유 기술을 이용한 위체류 이중정의 개발)

  • The aim of this study was to develop gastric retentive bi-layered tablet using floating drug delivery technique. Metformin was selected as a model drug due to its narrow absorption window as well as very highly water solubility. These properties of metformin led to be difficult controlling the drug release. The bi-layered tablet was prepared with bi-layered compression machine to minimize interference between floating part and controlling part. The tablet weight, appearance and hardness were evaluated after compression process. The times of 'time to floating' and 'Floating duration' were tested for floating ability and drug release study was also carried out to understand drug release behavior. Furthermore, the drug release of bi-layered tablet was compared with marketed metformin tablet with sustained release pattern (Glucopharge XR$^{(R)}$).The floating ability and drug release behaviors were well controlled by changing amounts of $NaHCO_3$ (floating substance) and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC; release control material). Bi-layered tablet had 13s of time to float, over 10h of floating duration and very similar drug release behavior compared with Glucopharge XR$^{(R)}$($f_2$: 89.6). Consequently, the bi-layered tablet with floating ability was successfully prepared and these properties can maximize the efficacy of metformin.

  • Recently, as users' understanding about software is raised, software developers devoted all their energy to satisfy users' needs. Accordingly, software is getting increase in volume and becoming complicated. As account of it, development and maintenance costs of software have been increased, and a large number of developers were projected in maintenance and development of new software. Software with good maintenability has a function in a module and is easy to read and simple. In this paper, for effective management of software complexity, I designed and implemented the system which accepts source program by input and measures product metrics and produce measurement value of factor items.
