평소 몸이 약했던 강정숙양(16세서울K여중 3학년)은 초등학교 때 심장이 약하다는 얘기를 들은 후 오랫동안을 운동이나 활동으로부터 제외 되어져 살아왔다. 경제적인 어려움으로 병원 한 번 갈 수 없었던 그녀의 삶은 아픔과 그 아픔을 원고지 위에 옮겨놓은 것을 희망으로 삼은 것이 전부였다. 그런데 얼마 전 건협의 건강관리 공개강좌에서 심장병에 대한 강의를 듣고 건협에서 검사를 받은 결과 그녀는 뜻밖에도 보통사람과 똑같이 활동해도 좋다는 진단을 받고 지금은 건강하고 밝게 살아가고 있다 우리나라 심장병의 관리 상태를 반성하고 새로운 계기를 마련하는 데 도움이 되었으면 하는 마음으로 강양의 집을 찾아가 봤다.

빌딩이 빽빽한 도시 한가운데이자 IT밸리 중심에 자리잡은 서울정보통신대학원대학교에서 만난 문남미 교수, 그녀가 최근 e-러닝 콘텐츠 표준화 작업을 위해 정보통신부와 문화관광부를 수십번씩 드나들며 활발한 활동을 펼치고 있다. 그녀는 e-러닝(e-learning) 표준화를 위한 기술 로드맵을 집필한 바로 그 주인공이다. 선정릉을 끼고 위치한 빌딩 3층에 있는 문 교수는 연구실에서 연구원과 연구 발표를 위해 열띤 논쟁을 하고 있었다. 세련되고 깔금한 회색 정장에 짧은 단발머리의 문 교수는 "임시 건물의 연구실이 너무 좁죠" 라며 씩씩한 목소리로 반겼다.

혹자는 그녀를 '대장부'라고도 하고 다른 사람들은 그녀를 '외유내강'이라고도 한다. 대한민국 최고의 오리 집산지인 전남지역의 오리농가들을 대표하는 전영옥 한국오리협회 광주·전남도지회장은 오리농가들의 권익을 위해서라면 불도저처럼 밀어붙이고, 오리농가의 어려움이 있을 때는 옆집 누나처럼 세심하게 살피며 전남·광주도지회를 이끌고 있다. This article compares the content of a Korean movie, Miss Granny, and its Chinese adaptation, 20 Years-old Again. Popular in both countries, two movies are based on a same synopsis with similar characters and plots. With similarities, they also display differences originating from distinct social, cultural, and political conditions in each society. Firstly, Miss Granny displays women in Korea closer to mother figures than any other social roles, while 20 Years-old Again does more individualized and sexually active female images. Secondly, the former shows Korean men as the heads of houses in the Confucius tradition, but the latter does Chinese men more demoted and democratized. Thirdly, the former depicts the Confucius social caste system still surviving against oblivion, as the latter does the system being able to be overcome by serving the country. As main reasons of these differences, this article takes historical, social, and cultural differences that both societies have experienced from the early $20^{th}$ century.

The study analyzed Sofia Coppola's early films and to study her views about social frames on women. Moreover, the study shows the connection to Coppola's worldview on women in her other films; and . The study also analyzed the cinematography in her films as Coppola did not convey the messages directly. In addition, the study pursues a re-evaluation on , which was a controversial film among critics, and unravels the uncertain open-ending in . Throughout the comparative analysis, the study reveals that the two films have consistent views that do not differ from each other and that it was the progress to the growth of Coppola's worldview. The conclusion of these two films connects to another controversial content in Coppola's next film. Hence, one expects the analysis of these films to provide a better understanding of Sofia Coppola's other films.

In Jane Campion's Stewart, Ada's husband, as like modern people, manifests the infinite lust of conquest. But Banes has a humanistic relation with the New Zealand's tribe and doesn't have a deep attachment of his own land. Stewart represents the ruling reason in that he disregards his wife's desire and acts only for his desire to possess and conquest. In contrast with him, in order to satisfy her desire of the piano and hold her own inner world in common, Banes proposes the extraordinary deal, that is to say, to exchange her piano and his land and to learn playing the piano from her. Like this Banes represents the caring reason in that he regards Ada's desire and cares her in according to her purpose and himself.
