  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect on postural control and shooting record by archers of the balance exercise program for 12-weeks based on sprinter/skater pattern. the subject were 12 female archers(the control group 6, the experimental group 6) and the motion was measured using active balance system. the results were as follows. 1. Static postural controllability of archers was improved to reduce the whole path length and the sway of the COBx, COBy after the balance exercise program for 12-weeks based on sprinter/skater pattern. 2. Dynamic postural controllability of archers was improved to reduce the whole path length after the balance exercise program for 12-weeks based on sprinter/skater pattern. 3. Archers' postural controllability was improved when shooting after 12-week balance exercise program based on sprinter/skater pattern. but not effect shooting record.

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of Action-observational training program on gait and balance of patients with hemiplegia. Subjects of this study, among the patients who received the diagnosis cerebral vascular accident, for patients total of 4 people have agreed to research. Experimental group 2 people, control group 2 people, was a total of 4 people. Group-specific arbitration method, was applied to Action-observational training program(experimental group) and general Task-oriented training program(control group). Each training courses 30 minutes for 4 weeks, examined the changes in 10 Meter Walk Test(10MWT), gait speed, Berg Balance Scale(BBS) and time up and go(TUG) ability to examine a total of 4-week course effectively. The intervention were compared by measuring before and after. There were significant improvements in the subscales of the gait and balance test of those who practiced with the Action-observational training program, while the control group showed no significant changes. Therefore, Action-observational training program is effective in improvement of to improve the gait and balance in patients with hemiplegia.

  • This study aimed to compare the effects of sit-to-stand training, or training to stand up from sitting positions at various seat heights, on the balance recovery among stroke patients. This study included 20 stroke patients who were randomly divided into two groups. Each group was trained for six weeks, three times a week from March to June 2019. Static balance and dynamic balance were measured, and the variations were analyzed using the paired t-test and the independent t-test. There were significant changes observed in both static and dynamic balance (p<.05) before and after training. However, no significant changes were seen in the static balance in the standing posture with eyes closed (p>.05). This study confirmed that there was a significant effect of training on the balance of stroke patients, especially when progressively lower seat heights were used during the training. This suggests new directions for treatment during rehabilitation for balance recovery of stroke patients. Further studies will need to apply this training to a larger number of subjects, and use various training methods such as randomization of seat height to enable the generalization of the results of this study and application in clinical practice.

  • This Paper describes a quantitative analysis of Postural balance training using virtual bicycle system. We have used a virtual bicycle system that combines virtual reality technology with a bicycle . In this experiment, 20 normal adults were tested to investigate the influencing factors on Postural balance. Several factors including cycling time. cycling velocity. number of times of Path deviation, center of Pressure(COP) . and weight shift were extracted and evaluated to quantify the extent of control. Also, To improve the effect of balance training, we investigated the usefulness of visual feedback information by weight shift The results showed that the system was effective Postural balance rehabilitation training device and. in addition. the analysis method might have a wider applicability to the rehabilitation field.

  • This study was to examine the effectiveness of prefrontal Neurofeedback training by observing the pre and post brainwave measurement results of about Y kindergarten kids 50 (experimental group 25.comparative group 25) subjects who have shown corelation, in between the months of Mar. 2008 and Nov. 2008. As the brainwaves are adjusted by timeseries linear analysis, the result confirmed the differences of both corelation. The result of the study suggest Neurofeedback technique's possibility in positively affecting the subjects' corelation and mental state.

  • Purpose : This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of an action-observational task oriented training on balance and gait ability of patients with chronic stroke. Method : The subjects of this study were 30 patients with chronic stroke who agreed to participate and were picked up. Participants were randomly divided into equal groups; namely, an experimental group that underwent action-observational task oriented training for at least 30 minutes/day for 6 weeks and a control group that underwent general task-oriented training. Patients' balance was assessed using the Sway Length(SL), Sway Area (SA) and Limit of Stability (LOS) test. In addition, gait ability was assessed using the 10 Meter Walking Test (10MWT). Gait time and speed taken to walk 10 metres were used to examine gait ability. Result : There were significant improvements in the subscales of the balance and gait ability test of those who participated in the action-observational task oriented training, while the control group showed no significant changes. Conclusion : Therefore, Action-observational training effectively improved the balance and gait abiltiy in patients with chronic stroke.
