BSC 관점에 대한 정보보호 투자효과 분석

  • 정보사회의 도래와 인터넷의 확산으로 정보보호의 중요성이 증가함에 따라 기업과 조직에 있어서 정보보호는 경쟁적 우위를 확보하기 위한 도구임과 동시에 비즈니스를 안정적으로 수행하기 위한 필수 경영요구사항으로 등장하고 있다. 또한 기업자산의 일원으로써 보호되어야 하는 유 무형 정보자산의 가치는 더욱 높아지고 있으며, 이를 관리하는 조직과 기업의 효율적이고 효과적인 정보 자산 관리 및 정보보호 투자에 대한 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 그러나 조직의 정보보호 투자가 증가함에도 불구하고 이에 대한 성과측정을 위한 체계적 방법이 제시되지 않아 정보보호 투자 의사결정 및 개선방향 도출에 어려움이 있다. 기존의 재무적 측면위주의 정보보호 투자효과 분석은 정보보호 투자의 기회비용적인 특징으로 인해 체계적인 효과 분석 및 현황을 파악하기에는 부족하며 향후 정보보호 투자의 전략추진방향을 제시하기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 정보보호 투자효과의 특성을 고려하여 균형성과표(Balanced Scorecard, BSC)관점의 정보 보호 투자 전략과 성과에 대한 인과관계를 분석하고자 한다. 따라서 기존 정보보호 투자효과 분석의 선행연구를 중심으로 핵심성공요인과 측정지표를 도출하고, 관련 기업 및 조직을 대상으로 설문조사를 통해 수집된 자료를 구조방정식모형(Structural Equation Model, SEM) 분석기법을 활용하여 실증분석 하고자 한다.

  • IT 조직의 활동에 대한 성과 평가는 과거 재무적인 평가방법이 주를 이루었으나 최근에는 정보시스템 기능과 활동 주체가 다양해짐에 따라 재무적인 접근방법과 함께 새로운 평가 방법 및 기준에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 특히 균형 성과표 (Balanced Scorecard: BSC) 개념을 IT 활동 평가에 적용한 IT-BSC에 대한 연구도 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 정보시스템과 기업전략과의 관계에 대한 규명이나, 다양한 IT 성과측정지표들간의 연계성을 측정하는 연구는 이루어지고 있지 않은 실정이다. 이에 본 본 연구에서는 IT 조직의 성과평가를 위한 핵심성공요인(CSF)과 핵심성과지표(KPI)를 도출하고, 도출된 지표간의 인과관계를 검증하고자 한다. 본 연구의 결과로 도출된 영역과 지표들은 각 산업영역에서 IT 조직의 성과를 측정할 때 참고하고 적용할 수 있는 효과적인 지침으로 활용될 수 있다는 데에 연구의 의미를 둘 수 있다.

  • IT governance becomes one of hot issues in corporate information system including university ERP. IT governance provides IT value and mitigates IT-related risks such that the organization takes new business chances and grows in the future. In this study, we briefly introduced IT governance and university ERP in the viewpoint of alignment to the business goal of the organization. And then, we proposed an strategic approach of IT governance for university ERP system with new performance evaluation items from IT-BSC. Finally, we pointed out some related research topics as further studies.

  • There are two kind of system in hotel for evaluating management. the first is infra system, for example Front management system - reservation system, C/I, C/O system, POS system , web system, call center management -, Back office system, interface system, and so on which manage direct control for hotel, and next is strategic system, for example BSC , CS . which is supporting hotel management. The purpose of this study was to find using the Balanced Scorecard to evaluate hotel management perfomance. Management performance is based on productivity, quality, time, effect, and responsiveness. Hotel economic value is not equal visual asset which is measured financial value. It is include hotel brand, image, customers who have good loyalty, employees who give customers special service, and systems which was affected by internal process. In conclusion, innovation, growth, internal system process, empioyee and customer have effect hotel performance. Therefore hotel has to know non-financial performance which has positively relate to financial performance.

  • This paper provides a case for the comprehensive performance management system in Public Procurement Service. Public Procurement Service set up the BSC system at the beginning of 2006 by improving and complementing the earliest performance management system and made it possible to automatically connet the performance measurement and evaluation of the departmental and person by using CSF and KPI, which result from their mission and strategic assignments. Therefore, the public service of the adminstration is able to offer better customer service, as the private corporations do, apply the incentive and disincentive policies to the personnel and reward administration and contribute to changing the administration into an organization of competition and performance compensation. The application of the BSC system enables the strengthening of the individual evaluation system in the departmental, integration of various evaluations into one, and the establishment of a monitering system of achievement rate in the objective management in the periodic results. Such a case study of Public Procurement Service will determine the course of establishment of the BSC in other public institutions and suggest many successful methods and ideas for the performance management system.

  • The purpose of this study is to establish the Balanced Score Card for 'I Company' which is a small and medium sized manufacturing company in Busan City. It is suitable for SMEs and suitable for the management environment. The study was intended to contain the detailed needs of managers and employees when developing the performance measurement system. It also allowed other SMEs to benchmark through this study. We also proposed a solution to the problems after BSC construction. In addition, BSC has been developed for the purpose of shifting business strategy from RDS to SSS in accordance with changes in the demand market environment. Strategy Maps were divided into the whole company level and each team level. You can look at strategic goals, core success factors, and key performance indicators at each glance. Finally, we developed a smart performance evaluation system that can easily calculate the score, strategic goal, key success factor, weight of key performance indicators, target score, performance, and achievement rate by creating a smart chart.   • ESC has been used as a tool for evaluating overall performance of firms. ESC focuses mainly on building a balanced viewpoint comprising perspectives and their metrics. It is, therefore, difficult to value overall strategic achievements of a company derived by consolidating various perspectives and metrics. Because of the absence of a method for consolidating ESC metrics and computing total score based on these metrics, it is difficult to evaluate whole strategic performance and find core obstacle parts of performance. In this paper, we suggest a method of normalizing a numerical value of metrics with different units, and calculating the total score of ESC metrics. We conduct a case study of evaluating the effectiveness of CRM to illustrate the applicability and feasibility of the suggested method.

  • 교수학습 성과지표의 측정을 위해서 봉 연구 통해 개발한 도구를 기관이나 개인의 교수학습 상황 진단에 적용할 수 있을 것이다. 교수 학습의 측정지표를 개발하고 이를 활용하고자 하는 목적은 사회변화에 부합되는 교수학습을 통해 교수학습의 질적 제고를 꾀하고 고객만족을 통해 대학의 위상을 제고하기 위함이다. 측정결과는 대학의 교수학습의 성과를 시대변화에 부합되도록 업그레이드시키고, 교수학습의 동기부여 차원에서 측정결과가 우수한 교수를 발굴하여 적절한 보상을 하여 창의적 교수법이 확산될 수 있도록 유도할 수도 있을 것이다. 이울러 구성원의 업적평가에 반영할 수도 있을 것이다.

  • This study is to prove the effect of raising the value of the expert knowledge of technical experts or researchers that obtained systematic education on finance and management, on the individual's performance, and to do so, BSC(Balanced ScoreCard) is to be used to analyze how the individual's performance was affected. The results indicates that development and management of substantial programs on finance and management-related educations, with the purpose of inspiring management mind on professional employees, are demanded.

  • This study analyzes the process of establishing BSC based strategic performance evaluation system of KOMSCO. This case could be a reference to other public institutes for BSC introduction and efficient BSC usage. Internal control system of KOMSCO has been improved by EVA system in 1999, BSC introduction and Job analysis in 2001 through 2002, and BSC performance evaluation system in 2004. KOMSCO tries to reflect BSC concept by inducing employees to cooperate selection process of CSF and KPI and by considering the organizational characteristics of KOMSCO in constructing it's performance indices. It is suggested that these processes are very important and should be followed by other institutes in their BSC introduction. By applying BSC, KOMSCO provides improvement in employees' understanding of strategy, performance management, and performance evaluation. KOMSCO' information system based on ERP and efficiently connected to EIS, KMS, and BSC seems to play an important role of BSC application. BSC system of KOMSCO is now in the early stage of application and needs to be evaluated by the efficiency of usage in terms of overall performance evaluation system, deduction system of evaluation point for excess accomplishment over target, and connection to budget system.
