집중 안전 점검의 대상인 노후 건축물에서 균열은 건물의 안전도를 점검할 수 있는 지표이다. 안전 점검에 드론을 활용하면서 고해상도의 드론 기반 균열 이미지 수집이 가능해졌고, 육안이 아닌 AI기반으로 균열을 탐지, 구획화할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 주변 사물과 배경에 구애받지 않고 안전 점검이 가능한 구획화 알고리즘을 제안한다. METU와 POC데이터셋을 가공하여 데이터셋을 구축하고, 이를 바탕으로 ResNet50을 통해 균열과 유사한 배경을 분류하였으며, 균열 구획화 모델을 선정하여 DesneNet201-UNet++으로 mIoU 82.27%를 달성하였다. 본 연구는 노후 건축물 안전 점검에 필요한 균열 폭 추정에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

건물 외벽에 발생하는 균열은 시설물 구조 안전에 영향을 미치며 그 크기에 따라 위험도가 달라진다. 이에 따라 전문검사관의 현장 점검을 통해 발생 균열 두께를 정밀하게 측정할 필요가 있고 최근에는 이러한 현장 안전점검에 인공지능을 도입하려는 추세다. 그러나 기존의 균열 데이터셋은 주로 콘크리트에만 한정되어 다양한 외벽에 강인한 모델을 구축하기 어렵고 균열 두께를 측정하기 위해 정확한 마스크(Mask) 정보가 필요하나 이를 만족하는 데이터셋이 부재하다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 외벽에 강인한 균열 구획화 모델을 목적으로 2,744장의 이미지를 촬영하고 매직 완드 기법으로 라벨링을 진행해 데이터셋을 구축 후, 이를 바탕으로 딥러닝 기반 균열 구획화 모델을 개발했다. UNet-ResNet50을 최종모델로 선정 및 개발 결과, 테스트 데이터셋에 대해 81.22%의 class IoU 성능을 보였다. 본 연구의 기술을 바탕으로 균열 두께를 측정하여 건축물 안전점검에 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다.

This paper examines the process of Gyeongbu Highway construction from the standpoint of political economy, which was pursued by President Park Jeong-Hee in the 1960s, focusing on the politics of mobility and demarcation implied in it. As results of examination, it can be argued that Gyeongbu Highway was seen as a powerful element to promote a socio-spatial integration of population and hence to enforce an authoritative political power of the Park regime through creation of mobility; that it has had an strong impact on changing the physical landscape of national space and the spatio-temporal rhythm of everyday life by extending the 'machine space' as a non-place; that it has provided a physical infrastructure on which the period of capital circulation could be reduced through its effect of space-time compression. But Gyeongbu Highway has led serious problems such as uneven regional development, expansion of non-place or alienated place, ecological destruction and pollution. In conclusion, a sustainable politics is suggested to overcome this kind of 'tragedy of highway' and to develop the highway as a true way of political and spatial balance and integration.

The damage investigation and inspection methods performed in concrete facilities such as bridges, tunnels, retaining walls and so on, are usually visually examined by the inspector using the surveying tool in the field. These methods highly depend on the subjectivity of the inspector, which may reduce the objectivity and reliability of the record. Therefore, the new image processing techniques are necessary in order to automatically detect the cracks and objectively analyze the characteristics of cracks. In this study, deep learning and image processing technique were developed to detect cracks and analyze characteristics in images for concrete facilities. Two-stage image processing pipeline was proposed to obtain crack segmentation and its characteristics. The performance of the method was tested using various crack images with a label and the results showed over 90% of accuracy on crack classification and segmentation. Finally, the crack characteristics (length and thickness) of the crack image pictured from the field were analyzed, and the performance of the developed technique was verified by comparing the actual measured values and errors.

This paper aims to identify the key features of the novel writing of Korean American immigrants and their meaning as one aspect of movement and contact occuring in the early modern period. The late return of the novels written by Nakcheong THUN in the 1930s is significant in that it restored ideas on the diversity of early modern mobility and confronted the history and culture of immigrants who were excluded from records and memories. Not only are these novels a product of the phenomenon of immigration, but they have also created a crack in the dichotomous perceptions of domination and subordination, center and periphery by envisioning it as a space that creates new history, culture, institutions and values. These novels treat the free love of intellectual, emotional, and ethical figures as a central event, demystifying Western free love, and at the same time, a society divided by various identities including class, race, and gender. The novels by Nakchung THUN visualize the active exchange between the immigrant and the indigenous community through the character of Jack, and imagines the heterotopia as a place where not for the immigrants' utopia, but for everyone's coexists. These novels have declared a kind of memory war on the subordinate and marginalized contact zones. The contact zones of the immigration area had been a place for experiencing extreme conflicts and discords, and at the same time, it has served as a place where various groups and communities are connected. The contact zones were common areas of solidarity and creation before being subject to division and occupation. The contact zones are far from the border or borderlands, so it is not a fixed and immutable deadlock. As a world free from central domination the contact zones have been a space that preoccupied history and culture through various encounters, and have been a community.
