(1986) and (1987) represent the society of 1980s in which the professional baseball game was initiated to cover the irrational military culture. The love and marriage of sports players were the headlines of the media, and the yearly salary of the players was the hottest issue of conversation. The military culture is represented in the scenes where the coaches train the failures and inapt players in extreme drills. The films pinpoint the absurdity of military culture and win-at-all-costs mentality. The collapse of the dictatorial leadership at the end of the films is a metaphor for the collapse of the fifth Republic of Korea. The episodes where the players talk about contract money, and the trade of players and sports business were a new phenomenon of the 1980's. The fact that Oh Hyesung of chooses love instead of victory deals a big blow to the secular ambition for money, victory and dictatorial leadership. His option provides catharsis for an audience oppressed under military leadership and success driven ideology. On the other hand, Oh Hyesung of dies right at the moment of winning the world champion. He achieves neither love nor success. While Oh Hyesung of is a symbol of pure love and gives spiritual comfort to the audience, Oh Hyesung of gives a sense of hopelessness to the audience. Both of the two sports films reflect the representation of the 1980's but received opposing reviews from audiences.

This paper analyzes the characteristics of various types of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) for military use and how each type can be utilized in military operations. The scope of the study focuses on the structural features, advantages and disadvantages, and military application cases of fixed-wing, rotary-wing, hybrid, and swarm drones. It also discusses the development direction of drone technology, changes in military strategy, opportunities, and challenges. The results show that each type of drone plays a crucial role in various military operations such as reconnaissance, surveillance, strike, logistics, search, and rescue. With advancements in artificial intelligence, autonomous flight, and swarm technologies, the range of drone applications is expected to expand further. However, ensuring the safety and ethics of drone operations and establishing international norms have emerged as major challenges.

This paper analyzes the technological advancements of military drones and their subsequent effects on modern warfare and international relations. It first examines the historical development of military drones and analyzes the key features and advantages of contemporary military drones. The paper then explores the changes in warfare tactics and military strategies brought about by drone technology, along with discussing the legal and ethical issues related to drone usage. Finally, recent war cases and country-specific responses are reviewed to evaluate the current operational status and impact of military drones. This study offers recommendations for the development of drone operations within the South Korean military and addresses the legal and ethical challenges posed by drone warfare on the international stage.

Society is entering a new transition period due to the metaverse, where a new world is created by the fusion of the online virtual world and the real world with the development of information and communication technology. The realm of Metaverse, which was focused on entertainment, is gradually expanding into everyday areas such as fellowship activities, education, and commerce. Its application is also increasing in the field. Therefore, this study intends to discuss the concept, core type, development trend, and future application of the metaverse in the military field.

The study presents milestones for the Korean military to win the future battlefield based on the 4th Industrial Revolution. Chapter 1 deals with the necessity of research on how advanced countries operate industrial technology in the defense sector based on the 4th Industrial Revolution. Chapter 2 examines the current technology status of the 4th Industrial Revolution in Korea and the concept of Korean combat. Chapter 3 analyzes the military robotic technology of advanced military countries through examples of unmanned combat robots in the United States, Israel, and Germany. In the end, in future battles, it will be possible to dominate the battlefield only by taking a leap into a super-connected and super-intelligent military based on a high-tech platform. Our military should also research and develop military robotics in accordance with the characteristics of each combat system, and further expand and develop the concept of combat performance to protect our core capabilities and centers from enemy cyber, electronic warfare, and space attacks.
