In this paper, we empirically evaluate the potential performance of energy conversion policy and analyze its effects on power generation sector. We first examine the degree of substitutability between energy inputs by measuring the price elasticities of energy demands and then estimate the changes in CO₂ generation when the proportions of nuclear power plants and renewable power generation are increased. The shadow prices of nuclear power and renewable energy are calculated to compare the potential costs of power generation between the two energy sources. We analyze the impacts of the expansion of nuclear power plants and renewable power generation on power supply price. Nuclear and renewable energy were measured to be complementary to each other. The expansion of nuclear power plants has been more effective in reducing CO₂ emissions than increasing renewable power generation. In most years over 2002 to 2016, the impact of nuclear power expansion on the power supply price was generally higher than that of renewable power generation, with relatively large range of fluctuations.

어선 안전에 관한 국제 협약인 1977 어선안전을 위한 토레몰리노스 국제협약 및 1993 토레몰리노스 의정서는 현재 그 발효요건이 충족되지 못하여 전 세계적으로 발효되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 국제해사기구(IMO)는 의정서 요건을 완화하는 "1993 토레몰리노스 의정서 시행에 관한 협정서 개발"을 해당 전문위원회인 복원성, 만재흘수선, 어선안전 전문위원회에서 제53차 회의('11. 01)까지 그 초안 작업을 완료하고 제27차 총회에서 이를 채택할 계획으로 논의를 진행하고 있다. 따라서 이러한 국제적인 움직임에 대응하고 동 의정서 시행에 대비하여 우리나라에 미치는 파급효과를 최소화하기 위한 활동의 일환으로써 본 연구는 그 동안 IMO에서 추진하여 왔던 활동과 그 내용을 담고 있다.

North Korea is currently undergoing an economic crisis of industrial productivity reduction, which resulted from decreased energy production and economic sanctions due to conflicts with the international society. This paper examined the technological status of North Korea's natural gas and coal industries which are essential sectors for recovery of the economy and North-South cooperation on energy industry. This paper also analyzed investment strategies in North Korean energy industries and calculated the size of economic ripple effect of the investment on North and South Korea. In order to analyze the effect of the investment on North Korean economy, we constructed an inter-industry relation table of North Korea for year 2014 and used an input-output model. The ripple effect of the investment in natural gas and coal industries turned out to be 1.012 billion dollars and 2.742 billion dollars respectively. In order to analyze the ripple effect of the investment on South Korean economy, we constructed an inter-industry relation table of South Korea for year 2013 and used a demand-driven model for inter-industry analysis. As a result, production, added-value and employment inducement coefficients of the investment were calculated as 2.02073, 0.62697 and 8.99409 for the natural gas industry and 2.02130, 0.62701 and 9.00413 for the coal industry respectively.

국제간 정보통신전달 수단으로 인공위성과 해저케이블이 상호보안적으로 사용되어 왔다. 특히 최근에 와서는 해저 광케이블의 등장으로 국가간 정보통신전달 수단으로 케이블의 역할이 급격히 증대되고 있다. 해저케이블은 열악한 해양환경에 노출되어 있으므로 건설시나 운용중에 손상 받을 가능성이 아주 크며 그로 인한 파급효과가 엄청나다. 또한 해저케이블 사고시 복구에 많은 시간과 어려움이 뒤따르며 비용도 막대하다. 따라서 해저케이블의 안전성을 확보하는 것은 매우 중요하며 이에 대한 보호대책이 절실하다. 본 논문에서는 해저케이블의 건설 및 운용상에 발생할 수 있는 여러 불안전 요인들을 찾아 그에 대한 대책방안을 고찰해 보고자 한다.

성공적인 국제 메가 스포츠 이벤트는 진행 국가와 해당 도시의 글로벌 이미지를 제고하고, 국가경제 성장에 파급 효과가 있음이 다수 사례를 통해 입증되었다. 최근의 국제 메가 스포츠 이벤트는 단순한 스포츠 행사가 아닌 최첨단 정보통신기술과 방송통신 융합의 전시회라고 해도 과언이 아니기 때문에 정부만의 과제와 역할로는 성공할 수 없다. 국제 스포츠 이벤트 운영의 패러다임이 변화하는 환경 속에서 대회를 기획하고 주관하는 스폰서는 이벤트 개최와 성공을 좌우하는 핵심요소로 그 선정에서부터 중요한 검토가 이루어져야 한다고 볼 수 있다. 이 글에서는 향후 있을 2018 평창동계올림픽의 안정적인 개최와 성공을 기대하며 2014 아시안 게임의 사례를 중심으로 안정적이고 신뢰성 있는 스포츠 대회 개최를 위한 방송통신망 Infra 구축과 운영 방안에 대해 기술하고자 한다.

This study estimated the regional economic effects by development of the logistics complex in Incheon New Port, applying the regional Input-Output tables in Incheon. And thereby, we tried to find some strategic implications on the priority to induce more effective industries for activated operation of the logistics complex in ports. According to the results, development of Incheon New Port will generate 2,579 billion KRWs(2.2 billion USDs) of production and 1,783 KRWs(1.5 billion USDs) of value-added annually. And we expect it to induce 38.8 thousand jobs, which is over the national average on the input-output table. By the business type, port logistics industry will contribute to develop regional economy more than any other ones in Incheon. We suggest business firms in port logistics industry to be induced to the logistics complex in Incheon New Port strategically. Until now, development of the logistics complex in Incheon New Port are planned to be postponed to 2015 when construction of the berth facilities, the access sea routes and the hinterland highways are completed. We suggest to invest more public fund, to induce the private capital, and then, to develop the logistics complex in Incheon New Port earlier in an appropriate scale.

인터넷 기술의 급속한 발전과 이를 기반으로 확산되고 있는 인터넷 경제활동은 기존 산업부문 전 범위에 걸쳐 이루어지고 있으며, 인터넷을 통한 전자상거래는 이미 폭발적으로 팽창하고 있다. 또한, 일부의 역기능에 대한 우려에도 불구하고 향후 세계경제의 흐름이 전자상거래를 중심으로 이루어질 것이라는 인식이 공유되고 있다. 이러한 전자상거래는 기존의 거래관계를 대체하며 관련 산업에 여러 측면에서 막대한 파급효과를 발생시키고 있다. 국경이 없는 인터넷 전자상거래의 경우 국제거래 활성화로 인하여 기존의 수출입부문에 있어서 급변이 예상되고 있으며, 전자상거래에 대한 접근성이 높아짐에 따라 관련 산업의 새로운 시장수요 창출은 물론이고 기존의 시장수요를 촉진하는 측면에서도 시장에 대한 영향력은 지대해지고 있음을 부인할 수 없다. 그러나, 이러한 막대한 영향력에도 불구하고, 소프트웨어를 다운로드받거나 영상자료 등을 검색할 때에 조세는 누가, 어떻게 납부해야 하는지, 관세는 어떻게 부과하고 징수할 것인가 둥둥 전자상거래는 해결해야 될 많은 문제가 산적해 있는 것도 사실이다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 EC와 관련한 조세문제에 대한 국제적 주요 논의 동향을 살펴보고, 특히 EC의 관세부문에 논의 초점을 맞추어 EC에 의한 관세인하 및 무관세화가 각국의 경제에 어떠한 영향을 미칠 것인가를 간단한 게임과 소국경제를 가정한 부분균형분석모형을 이용하여 고찰해 보고자 한다.

최근 RFID 기술의 급속한 확산은 기존 인식매체의 한계를 극복하고, 기업 및 산업 전반에 새로운 혁신을 가져올 것으로 예상된다, 특히 항만물류산업의 경우 RFID 기술이 적용될 경우 많은 파급효과를 가져올 것으로 예상된다. 우리나라에서는 정부의 각종 시범사업을 통해 RFID 기술을 항만물류산업에 도입하려 하고 있으나 현실적인 개선과제 및 표준화 등에 대한 연구 부족 등으로 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존 문헌 조사와 현업 조사 분석을 통해 단위 업무별 공통 사용 데이터를 도출하여 RFID 국제표준을 준용하는 항만물류산업의 RFID 데이터 표준안을 제시하고자 한다. 향후 본 연구는 현재 진행되고 있는 국가표준안 수립에 적극 활용되어 세계 RFID 시장에서 우리나라의 위상을 높이고 기타 응용분야 국제 표준 규격 제정 시 우리나라의 입지 개선에 큰 역할을 해줄 것으로 기대된다.

As the trade linkages and the financial relationship between China and Korea grow stronger, China's influence on Korea is also growing larger. Therefore, it is meaningful to examine key features of Chinese monetary policy operations and the current situation, and to analyze the transmission mechanism of China's monetary policy shocks onto the Korea economy. China's monetary policy shocks can have an impact on the Korea economy through the trade, financial and oil-price channels. In the trade channel, an expansionary Chinese monetary policy can increase Korea's exports of intermediate goods to China under the vertical trade structure, via the vertical trade integration effect. Meanwhile, the expenditure switching effect and the income demand effect show no statistical significance. In the financial and oil-price channels, expansionary Chinese monetary policy shocks can decrease the interest rate and increase both stock prices and the consumer price index in Korea through changes in global portfolio capital flows, interest rates, and raw material prices.

국방과학기술의 발전은 기본적인 국가 안보 목적 달성 뿐만 아니라, 국방과학기술의 민수 파급 효과를 극대화함으로써 국가경제 발전에 중요한 역할을 수행한다. 현 IMF 경제체제하에서도 국내 연구개발을 강화하여 기술개발능력을 향상시키고, 이를 통하여 국내 방위산업의 국제 경쟁력을 제고시키는 것은 무엇보다 중요하다.
