Most small and medium IT enterprises have problems because of the lack of resources, Technology, fund, marketing, advertisement etc. Globalization and Internationalization make the small and medium IT ventures to advance into the overseas market. In korea, Small and medium size IT company have a excellent technology and good potential for the future value. but they have small domestic market and critical competitiveness. This paper analyzed the effects the regional competitiveness index on the characteristics of the regional growth. This study divides the regions in the US based on the static and dynamic standard of income for the characteristics of the regional growth. The results of the analysis are as follows. First some regions such as Alaska, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, Virginia, Washington and Wyoming have higher levels of SCI and both the rate of growth and per capita income than the national average. These are considered prosperous regions based on their high level of SCI. Second, in regards to the relation between the income level and regional competitiveness index for the regional growth, the variables such as human resource, science technology, business incubation, openness, safety and environmental policy are significant. Third, infrastructure, human resource, science technology and openness are the significant variables concerning the relation between the rate of income growth and regional competitiveness index for the regional growth.

This paper measures market power in the Mongolian banking sector using bank level panel data for commercial banks over the period of 1999 - 2006. In the literature, studies on banking competition have largely focused on the banking sectors of developed economies. However, banking competition in developing countries such as Mongolia has been largely neglected. This paper is an attempt to fill this gap. We find that both the monopoly hypothesis and the perfect competition hypothesis are rejected and that the Mongolian banking sector is instead characterized by monopolistic competition. We thus find that the Mongolian banking sector is more competitive than market concentration measures may suggest. We infer that the entries of new banks have strengthened market competitiveness.

A variety of international treaties have been developed for the world-wide control of hazardous chemicals, including production, transportation, use and disposal. Those conventions would be appeared as a barrier for the international trade. In particular, chemical industries in korea would face a serious problem unless a proper measure should be provided. One of the solutions is to develop a clean technology including elimination and/or source reduction of hazardous chemicals. In this study, international environmental treaties and management status of hazardous chemicals in korea are reviewed. In addition, strategies for the development of clean technologies are suggested.

최근 유헬스 산업을 꽃피우기 위한 노력이 다양한 형태로 전개되고 있지만, 국민의 건강 복지에 기여하는 효율성 제고와 새로운 고용 창출이라는 두 가지 큰 명제를 달성하기 위해 최소한 필수 국제표준은 채택(Adoption) 해야겠다는 업계의 의지가 부족한 것도 사실이다. 유헬스는 장비, 소프트웨어, 서비스가 다양한 형태의 결합으로 전개될 가능성이 아주 높고, 여러 이해 당사자들의 각기 다른 생각들 때문에 이해 관계가 상충하는 아주 복잡한 영역(Complex Domain)이므로, 표준 기술에 근거한 개발 노력을 경주해야 한다. 유헬스 서비스 전담 병원을 짓고, 필요한 장비, 소프트웨어, 서비스를 일체형으로 수출할 수 있는 기반을 닦기 위해서는 하루빨리 필수 표준기술을 확보하고, 표준기술 적합성(Conformance)을 검증하여 경쟁력 있는 유헬스 산업을 육성할 수 있도록 하는 경쟁력 있는 유헬스 산업을 육성할 수 있도록 하는 정책적 지원이 절실하다. 본고에서는 유헬스 산업 육성을 위한 필수 표준들과, 표준 구현 기술이 Conformant한지를 인증하고 있는 국제적 활동에 대해 기술하고자 한다.

In this study, the national competitiveness of Korean and Chinese medical device industry was analyzed through RCA index, MCA index, and TSI index in order to draw the export specialized items possessing the national competitiveness of Korea in Chinese market. The drawn national competitiveness index was grouped and the change progress was examined by years. Korea should analyze the tendency of Chinese medical device market, confirm our market share in the Chinese market, apprehend the competitive superiority, and draw and excavate the specialized export item in order to strengthen the competitiveness of Korean medical device in the Chinese market.
