Kimpo international airport logistics complex had been the most busiest airfreight gateway in Korea during last century but, after the grand open of Incheon international airport in 2001, it had lost its major role as a national airfreight hub facilities. However, owing to its locational advantages in Seoul metropolitan area. Kimpo airport logistics park still acts like an urban logistics distribution center in these days. Caused by the KAC's profit oriented policies, the Kimpo airport logistics park's public function as an urban distribution center might be curtailed in the future. Therefore, several laws and ordinances related to national and regional logistics strategies should be modified to prevent it.

국제물류 EPCglobal Network 프레임워크에서 대용량 운송 데이터베이스의 누적과 경영 전략의 의사결정에 필요한 지식 탐사를 위해 데이터 웨어하우스 시스템 도입이 요구된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국제물류 통합 플랫폼을 지원하는 데이터 웨어하우스를 설계하기 위해 현재 데이터베이스 시스템을 분석하고 다차원 데이터 모델인 사실 별자리 스키마 구조를 이용한다. 또한 설계된 데이터웨어하우스를 통해 의사결정을 지원할 수 있는 지식탐사를 위한 질의들의 예를 보여준다.

국내의 주요 물류기업들 중 16개 기업이 '종합물류기업'이라는 인증을 받기위해 건설교통부로부터 심사를 받고 있다. 올 상반기중에 우리나라를 대표하는 종합물류기업이 탄생할 것으로 기대된다. 이들 기업을 비롯하여, 물류기업들이 국내시장 규모만을 바라보고 경쟁하기 보다는 보다 넓은 해외진출을 꾀하여 글로벌 물류기업으로 다시 태어나야 할 것이다. '물류'라는 단어가 우리나라에 들어온지 불과 30년도 채 안되는 시점에서 동북아 물류중심을 외치는 우리의 물류산업은 비약적인 발전을 이뤘으며, 국내 시장이 아닌 중국을 비로한 해외 각국으로 진출하는 국제물류에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 최근 21세기에는 북한, 아시아, 중국의 항만, 도로, 철도 등 하부구조를 크게 성장시켜, 권역 운송을 광역화하고 복합운송을 발전시켜야 한다는 의견과 더불어 물류시장의 개방을 통한 외국 운송업체들의 참여를 유도하여 국내 업체의 경쟁력을 키워야 한다는 업계의 의견이 조심스럽게 흘러나오고 있다. "만약 물류시장이 개방될 경우 우리나라 물류기업은 생존 대응능력은 있는가!"하는 의문은 종합물류기업들을 보면 답이 나올 것이다. 해외시장 개척을 적극적으로 펼치면서 외국 물류기업과 어깨를 나란히 하고자 하는 국내의 우수 물류기업들이 많다. 그 중 몇몇 기업들을 살펴보면 대한통운, 글로비스, 한솔CSN, 현대택배, 한진, 현대상선 등은 해외현지법인화를 통하여 글로벌 물류기업으로 도약을 꾀하고 있는 기업도 많다. 이번호에는 "국내외 물류기업의 해외진출 방향, 전략 및 사례"를 통하여 글로벌 물류기업으로 성장하고 있는 업체들의 해외진출현황을 간략히 살펴보고, 전략에 대해 물류전문가로부터 의견을 들어본다.

최근의 기업환경은 과거의 소품종 대량생산체계에서 벗어나 소비자의 다양한 요구에 부응하기 위해 다품종소량의 제품을 소비자에게 제공함으로써 기업의 경쟁력을 키워나가야 한다. 이를 위해서는 물류에서의 효율적인 관리가 제품의 비용을 줄이고 고객서비스를 개선하는 것이 기업의 생존전략이 되고 있는 실정이다. 물류의 효율화를 위해서는 물류 공동화와 단순화를 통한 물류비용을 절감할 수 있는데 공동화와 단순화를 하기 위한 전제조건으로서 물류 표준화가 절대적인 역할을 한다. 이러한 물류 표준화의 출발점으로서 파렛트의 표준화를 정착하여 관련된 포장, 물류설비의 표준화를 동시에 병행하여 추진을 하여야 할 것이다. 이 논고에서는 국제표준기구인 ISO (International Standard Organization)/TC(Technical Committee) 51 기술위원회에서 추진 중인 파렛트의 국제규격을 중심으로 그와 관련된 성능시험 등의 제 $\cdot$ 개정 현황을 소개하고 앞으로의 전망을 살펴보기로 한다.

IMO에서는 자율운항선박에 대한 규정식별작업의 결과로, 자율운항선박 운용을 위한 신규 협약 개발 필요성을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서는 GBS 기반 자율운항선박 협약 개발이 착수됨에 따라 목표기반 규정에 대한 이해와 이에 따른 자율운항선박 핵심 기술 연계 방안에 대한 사항을 제안하였다.

중국은 지난 1978년 개혁개방정책을 실시한 이후 연평균 9%를 상회하는 경제성장률을 기록하였고 이는 중국발 수출입화물의 급격한 증가로 이어졌다. 그러나 폭증하는 수출입화물에도 불구하고 중국은 항만인프라의 부족으로 인근 부산항을 이용해 왔고 이것이 세계적인 부산항으로 부상하는데 결정적 기여를 했다는 것은 사설이다. 그러나 부산항이 처리한 환적화물의 경우 2002년에 32.5%였던 환적화물 증가세가 2005년에는 8.1%로 낮아졌으며, 2006년에도 전년대비 0.6%로 기록하면서 성장세가 크게 둔화되고 있다. 이 같은 상황에 처하게 되자 우리나라는 2006년 1월 19일 진해신항 개항과 더불어 기존의 '동북아 중심 국가 추진전략'과 병행하여 '국제물류 네트워크 강화를 통한 고부가가치 물류 허브화 전략'을 수립하여 시행하고 있다. 이 전략은 앉아서 환적화물을 기다리던 수동적인정책에서 벗어나 물류체계의 혁신을 통한 물류 네트워크 확대/ 적극적인 대외 협력 등을 통해 우리 항만이 기업과 환적화물의 안정적인 유치기반을 조성하는 한편, 물류와 금융, 건설, IT 등 관련 산업과의 연계를 통해 우리 물류기업이 글로벌 기업으로 성장하고 세계로 진출할 수 있는 진해신항의 환적화물 유치방안을 마련하여 우리나라 경제성장의 동력이자 미래 경제 전략의 중요한 밑거름이 될 수 있다.

This paper proposed several activation strategies at both the government and company parts for the development of domestic third party logistics(TPL) to pull electronic trade era much earlier. In the government side, it must need to arrange and integrate complex regulation rules on the Logistics for more smooth access and use the TPL market. Also, it has to provide multiple support policies such as tax reduction, technical and financial service providing, and logistics information system to TPL. Finally, it should construct the government levels education system to train and forster a competent man who is well qualified as a electronic and logiscic expert. The TPL company must build up a total logistics information system concerned with an innovative operation system such as SCM, JIT etc. which can provide logistic services on demand to the electronic trade customers to maximize consumer satisfaction. In the shipper company level, it try to join a long-term strategic alliance with TPL to reduce logistic cost and increase logistic service to its electronic trade consumers.

The purpose of this study is to identify and evaluate the competitiveness of container ports in ASEAN(Association of Southeast Asian Nations) and Korea, which plays a leading role in basing the hub of international logistics strategies at the onset of the 21st century. Its ultimate purpose is to consider the relevant policy-making by comparing the competitiveness of ASEAN and Korea's container ports. This paper adopted the HFP method, which is an empirical analysis that evaluated the port competitiveness by quantifying it a, a qualitative attribute in the aforementioned area, where both ASEAN and Korea vie with each other for increasing container throughput. The results of this study showed that Singapore ranked the first in the subject of study in view of the competitiveness, followed by Busan(2) and Manila(2) as a leading group of the relevant ports in international logistics strategies. This analytic evaluation contributes to the empirical approach applied to policy-making by the HFP method, which is the newest research technique in social science through the comparative study of port competitiveness between ASEAN and Korea.

When comparing Korea logistics industry with advanced nations, in size, service scope, network and others, our domestic logistics industry is falling behind, and this problem will deter the efforts of South Korea becoming the logistics hub nation in North-east Asia. This study will focus on current conditions of th foreign and domestic logistics, presents policies and plans which will advance logistics industry in South Korea. The results of this study will promote logistics industry in Korea and attain the aim of being a Logistics Hub nation in North-east Asia.
