This study is a part of the architectural planning to meet the military healthcare development project according to the Korea national defense reform 2020. At this time, it is intended to identify the overall issues and to set the improvement directions of military hospital planning. Literature reviews, such as military healthcare development project, Korea national defense reform 2020, etc., and case studies for the advanced foreign military hospitals and several Korean private hospitals is analyzed. And also, field surveys, such as questionnaire collections for patients and workers, interviews with surgeons and department officials, and observation survey were conducted in order to be realistic improvement suggestions for military hospital planning issues.

It is an important role of a researcher to preserve the research process and results as a record in the overall R&D from the planning stage to completion. The fourth industrial revolution based on the intelligent revolution has revolutionized the society as a whole, and it has also affected the defense sector. Various aspects of the war have been changing with the development of technology. In particular, various strategies such as research and development of core technology related to defense unmanned system field and infrastructure are being established based on the fourth industrial revolution technology. In this paper, we have conducted a study to select the technology required for maritime unmanned systems, which can be considered as a priority consideration for the future development of the core technology to be secured prior to the development of the weapon system. First, the core technology prioritization model for the marine unmanned system was established, and the technology fields of the unmanned robot were reclassified and integrated in the related literature such as the classification of the defense technology standard. For the empirical analysis, a questionnaire survey was conducted for 12 specialists who are engaged in the planning of weapons systems, and the importance of technical fields that require development in the development of marine unmanned systems was analyzed. As a result, it was possible to identify the key technology areas that should be considered in selecting the key technologies proposed by the military groups, research institutes, and companies. This could contribute to the establishment of the technology roadmap to develop the marine unmanned system from the future point of view.

The purpose of this study is to propose a rational operation plan for opening hours of public libraries in accordance with the 52-hour workweek of public institutions. The subjects of the study were six Gimhae Municipal Libraries. For the efficient operation of the Gimhae Municipal Library, the survey was conducted for the library users and staff. As a result, two proposals were made for the closed days and opening hours of the Gimhae Municipal Library. In order to balance work and life and to operate an efficient library, it is necessary to balance the cultural welfare of the citizens and the welfare of employees.

This study is aimed to investigate the application of DITA(Defense Information Technical stAndard) on the weapon information systems and defense management information systems in order not only to update the current DITA version 4.0, but also to develop SoS(System of systems) interoperability policy in the armed forces of Korea. For this study, 18 information systems were considered, their development products(System/Sub-system Specification, Technical architecture View, System Interoperability Test and Evaluation products) were reviewed and analysed. As a result of the investigation and analysis, it was found that the 44% of the DITA standard profiles were used for the development of the defense information systems. We conclude that DITA should be updated to be a minimal set so that all the defense information systems should be DITA-compliant. And it should be reviewed periodically to reflect the new information technology.

To use the system safely in cyberspace, you need to use a security solution that is appropriate for your situation. In order to strengthen cyber security, it is necessary to accurately understand the flow of security from past to present and to prepare for various future threats. In this study, information security words of security/hacking news of Naver News which is reliable by using text mining were collected and analyzed. First, we checked the number of security news articles for the past seven years and analyzed the trends. Second, after confirming the security/hacking word rankings, we identified major concerns each year. Third, we analyzed the word of each security solution to see which security group is interested. Fourth, after separating the title and the body of the security news, security related words were extracted and analyzed. The fifth confirms trends and trends by detailed security solutions. Lastly, annual revenue and security word frequencies were analyzed. Through this big data news analysis, we will conduct an overall awareness survey on security solutions and analyze many unstructured data to analyze current market trends and provide information that can predict the future.

The Beacon Mounds play a important role in defence and communication extending from the period of the Three States to the period of Chosun. About the research of beacon mounds have focused on investigation in old literature. This research analyzed geographic factors such as altitude, cross section, distance and visible distance affect in selecting location of beacon mounds. And it was presumed how each beacon mound geographic characteristics was considered in selecting location of beacon mounds. As a result, it is presumed that communicating among beacon mounds and watching the coast were affected by geographic characteristics and selecting location of beacon mounds was considered by several geographic factors.

The purpose of this study is to contribute to enhancing spiritual combat power as the core of intangible combat power in Korean armed forces through analyses and suggestions on Admiral Yi Sun-sin's leadership for four major sweeping victories based upon jointness which effectively integrates tangible and intangible combat power in armed forces to maximize the synergy of fighting power. As our armed forces has improved their military structure in the dimension of hardwares so as to enhance their efficiency, according to the results of analyzing the process to promote the jointness between our armed forces and our allied powers in the dimension of softwares supporting such hardware dimensions, it was necessary to innovate the system for reinforcing future-oriented spiritual combat power as well as all the tasks related to leadership as the core of intangible combat power jointly and harmoniously. In order to derive tasks about the leadership of Korean armed forces in the dimension of softwares which should be combined with military structural reform for strengthening spiritual combat power for national defense, this study selected research questions linked with jointness. That is, (1) what is the core of military leadership in Western advanced countries in the age of jointness? (2) What are the contemporary illuminations or implications of Korean leaderships through Admiral Yi Sun-sin's war history? Then, this study analyzed literature reviews, this author's field interviews in the time of war participation, and leadership war history focusing on Admiral Yi Sun-sin's leadership for four major sweeping victories. According to the results of these analyses, this study extracted (1) the strategic leadership to predict and prepare the future, (2) the leadership of integration to create synergy effects, and (3) the leadership of knowledge to be practiced focusing on combats. In addition, in order to reinforce spiritual combat power based upon jointness, (1) it is necessary to precede in-depth and substantial leadership diagnosis for enhancing jointness. (2) It is necessary to embody national defense reform as well as integration for jointness improvement after scientifically comparing and analyzing the differentiation and integration between the Ministry of National Defense, army-navy-air force leadership centers, and PKO centers. (3) It is necessary to promote the merger and abolition between institutions related to intangibale combat power under the Ministry of National Defense.

Purpose: This article aims 1) to identify key elements for building quality culture, 2) to design and analyze survey data from defense industry companies, and 3) to suggest directions for enhancing quality culture levels. Methods: Key elements and items for a quality culture are derived by investigating related references and using affinity diagram. Questionnaire items to investigate the quality culture level of the organizations are prepared and the survey data on the level of quality culture of military defense companies are analyzed. Results: 1) Descriptive statistical analyses are presented to compare the levels of the six key elements. 2) In each element items with low scores are identified, which should be improved. 3) Among six key elements, 'support 'element shows lowest level. 4) The quality culture level of the small-sized companies are relatively low. Conclusion: 1) To improve the quality culture level of the defense industry companies, it is necessary to provide quality education, to enhance recognition and rewards, and to invest resources for employees' self-development. 2) Small-sized companies can easily be adapted to quality-oriented cultural change if the CEO leadership focuses on quality culture.

This study analyzed the correlation between each of the 12 influencing factors in FAR 16.04 and the decision-making process for construction contract types, using data from a total of 2,406 DoD Construction Acquisitions spanning from 2008 to 2022. The study considered 12 independent variables, grouped into 4 Characteristics with 3 factors each. Meanwhile, all other contract types were categorized into two types: Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) and Cost-Reimbursement Contract (CRC), which served as the dependent variables. The findings revealed that FFP contracts significantly dominated in terms of acquisition volume. In line with prevailing beliefs, logistic data analysis and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) analysis of Relative Weights from Experts' Survey demonstrated that independent variables like Uncertainty of the Scope of Work and Complexity found out to be increasing the likelihood of selecting CRC. The number of contractors in the market does indeed influence the possibilities of contract decision-making between CRC and FFP. Meanwhile, the p-values of the top 3 influencing factors on CRC from the AHP analysis-namely, Appropriateness of CAS, Project Urgency, and Cost Analysis-exceeded 0.05 in the binominal regression results, rendering it inconclusive whether they significantly influenced the construction contract type decision, particularly with respect to payment methods. This outcome partly results from the fact that a majority of respondents possessed specific experiences related to the USFK relocation project. Furthermore, influencing factors in construction projects behave differently than common beliefs suggest. As a result, it is imperative to consider the 12 influencing factors categorized into 4 Characteristics areas before establishing acquisition strategies for targeted construction projects.
