Political trust is defined as the degree to which people perceive that government is producing outcomes consistent with their expectations. Political trust as a concept has endogenous as well as exogenous characteristics in that it can cause and be caused by other political factors. The purpose of this study is to introduce and evaluate various theoretical perspectives related to the causes and effects of political trust. With respect to its causes, this study focuses on the following five factors: government policies, unethical behaviors of politicians, citizens' penchant for participatory democracy, the public's misperceptions on government, and political culture. On the other hand, this study discusses the impacts of political trust on each stage of political process by paying attention to the following factors: government's governability, election outcomes, political recruitment, and the directions of government policies.

Public disapproval of National Assembly is resulted not only from the structural peculiarity of its decision-making process, but from the gap between public expectation of the National Assembly and its performance. While Korean electorate, being interested in politics with relatively high level of political efficacy, hold higher expectation from politics, the National Assembly fails to satisfy public expectation. In particular, irresponsible behaviors of representatives and the crippled operation of the National assembly are responsible for the low level of public trust to it. Institutional reform and individual efforts of representatives are necessary to promote public trust toward the National Assembly.

Web 2.0 시대가 도래하면서부터 새로운 소프트웨어 배포 방식인 SaaS가 등장하였다. 보안 분야에서도 기존의 소프트웨어적인 보안 방식이 아닌 하드웨어적인 보안 방식을 위해 TPM이라는 보안 칩이 개발되었다. 본 논문에서는 TPM 칩을 사용하여 보다 신뢰적인 측면이 강조된 신뢰 컴퓨팅 기반 SaaS 모델을 설계하고, 설계된 모델의 가장 기본적인 기능인 로컬 PC 레벨의 PCR 값 인증 프로그램과 로컬 PC 레벨 어플리케이션 무결성 측정 프로그램을 구현하고 이를 평가한다.

최근에는 원자력에 대한 국민의 관심이 높아져 기기의 고장 수준에 대해서도 언론에 보도되는 것이 현실이다. 이는 곧 원자력 산업설비에 대한 신뢰성을 한층 더 높은 단계로 요구하는 목소리인 것이다. 이 글을 통해서 원자력 산업설비에 대한 신뢰성 향상을 위한 활동을 정리해 보고자 한다.

"평화를 원하거든 전쟁에 대비하라"는 말이 있다. 바로 미래 군사력 건설의 필요성을 함축적으로 표현하는 말로 생각되지만 국민들은 실존하는 북한의 위협을 애써 외면하면서 이제 전쟁은 없을 것이라는 막연한 기대감으로 안보를 소홀히 생각하고 있는 것은 아닌가 하는 걱정이 앞선다. 우리 군은 국민들에게 안보의 중요성과 군사력 건설 및 유지의 필요성을 주지시키고 국민으로부터 신뢰를 받고 미래를 대비하기 위해 고민하고 노력해야 한다.

사회환경의 변화에 따라 경찰의 역할과 기능도 전통적인 사회질서의 유지에 머물러 있어서는 안되며 보다 능동적인 변화가 필요한 시점에서, 국가적 위기관리 상황에 효율적 안전확보를 행할 수 있도록 국민에게 신뢰받는 경찰이 되기 위해서는 위기관리 대처능력을 배양해야 한다는 치안서비스 제공에 대한 질적 개선이 요구된다. 최근 북한의 무력도발 및 남북 긴장관계의 조성, IS가 공개한 테러대상국에 우리나라가 포함되는 등 테러 및 안보위협에 더 이상 안전하지 않음을 국민들은 체감하고 있다는 점은 효율적 위기관리가 필요하다는 것을 반증하는 것이다. 따라서 국민의 가장 가까운곳에서 안전확보를 담당하고 있는 경찰의 치안서비스 제공과 안전사회 구현을 위해서는, 국민의 신뢰와 소통이 기반으로 형성된다는 점에 착안하여 경찰조직의 위기관리 커뮤니케이션에 관하여 살펴보도록 하였다.
